hi guys!

let's discuss Marshmello & Anne-Marie - FRIENDS vs Westlife - Obvious.

I've been on both sides of this story. Yes, I see them as a story. 😂

When I first listened to FRIENDS, I understand it right away but didn't think too much of it. but few days ago, as my phone shuffled to the song again, I was like, "dam!" 

the lyrics was like, 
"We're nothing more than friends, You're not my lover, more like a brother...don't mess it up, talking that shit, only gonna push me away...Haven't I made it obvious, haven't I made it clear, want me to spell it out for you? ...We're just friends"
Like, there are people I wanted to dedicate this song to 😏

but also, at the same time, "dam!" I was reminded of the time I was on the other side. back in my teens. LOL

Westlife's Obvious read like this:
"We started as friends, but something happened inside me...You never seemed to notice me turning on my charm or wonder why I'm always where you are..I've made it obvious...Every time I asked you out, you never move past friendly...you never know how I stare when we're alone or wonder why I keep you on the phone"

basically, back in my teens, I was Westlife's Obvious and the guy probably was thinking Marshmello&Anne-Marie's FRIENDS. but in my 30s, I'm Marshmello&Anne-Marie's FRIENDS and the guy is insisting Westlife's Obvious.

been on both sides of this story. wow. just, wow. the realization hit me hard. must be the age factor? 😂😂

This realization also put things into perspectives. as in, I shouldn't be so mean about it. coz I have been on Westlife's Obvious side and I know how my heart aches over it. but being kind DOES NOT MEAN giving in tho. 
I think it's healthy to remind someone that we're just friends and I also think it's our right to be FIRM on reminding them that. and if firm means singing like Marshmello&Anne-Marie's FRIENDS, then so be it.

Posting Story again

I posted on AFF again.

a oneshot story.

I'm nervous but I am also relief that I finally did it.

before I posted it, I was worried about how many people will bother to read it? ಥ_ಥ

Then after I posted it, seeing people actually bother to view the 'foreword' section, I was thankful. At least people are aware that the story exist.

I'd be lying if I said I was not down knowing people saw the existent of the story but not reading the actual story.
I was down.
but I said to myself; if I continued to post on blogspot knowing I don't have that many readers, posting on AFF is no different.

the only difference is; 
here on blogspot, its all real (albeit covered), 
on AFF, its entirely fiction (sorta :P)

You see, people like me, need to just get on with it. Just Do It. 
coz if we don't, we will end up procrastinating. forever. and we know procrastinating is not a progress.
at least, me posting that story is a step forward for me.
Small steps but still moving forward.

So, Yay me! for finally posting a story up on there.

Currently preparing the next story to post. I've been working on it for months. I just feel like I need to continue looking for that 'it' factor before finally posting them.

I am trying to write something out of my comfort zone. You know, challenging myself.

Hopes I pull thru.

Something Stupid

you might be in for a surprise in this story of mine.


a person said (about me), "She so stuck-up now becoz her loan just approved" as in the money I loan from the bank has been released.

This is not even a recent story. 
This was said (about me) like two three years ago. 
I only finding out now.

Of course my reaction was utter shock. Like, dumbfounded, even.

What I hate the most

Ever since I know how to travel,

I learned new things to hate.

One of them being?
When people asked me about my travels and then they made me feel like I'm doing my travelling wrong.

Man! people are annoying sometimes.

I know what you're going to say, I shouldn't listen to this people.

I don't. but that doesn't mean I can't hate it.

For a long time since my first travel, I've told myself so many times, that different people, different style of travel:

• some travel to shop
• some to be with nature (this includes mount climbing, camping, etc)
• some for the extreme sports (like parasailing, skydiving, etc)
• some for the culture (this includes sight seeing)
• some for food adventure
• some for theme park hopping

Those are some of the examples.

I guess, I'm more of a mixture between shopping, sightseeing, and theme park hopping.

of course, mine also depends on what country I'm visiting.

Like, I've been to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Singapore a number of times before. So, for my next trip there, I usually plan for more sight seeing/relaxing, and less shopping. (keynote: Plan. we know how plans always go :P)

With all that explained, and hopefully you got the point,

I hate it when people started asking, "eh inda ko pigi ..." or "rugi ko inda (go somewhere/do something) ..."

Ummmm ani travel story ku kah or kau?

If you think I'm rugi this and that, why don't you do it, if you're so perfect? 

Coz as far as I'm concerned, there's a different between dreaming of doing this and that/planning this and that, with actually doing this and that when you finally arrive at the destination.

You can planned things for months but still fell short of your plan when you were actually doing it, no matter how thorough your plan/research is.

So, unless you've done more travelling than I do, chill ko di sana and stop raining on my parade.

I'm not the best traveller. I'm still a baby traveller. still trying to get to know this world of travels.

Yes, I might missed a certain place to visit or take picture at, but who said that's gona be my one and only time there? I could always visit again. why you so worked up?

There you go,

my little rant on why I don't really like talking about my travel to people.

coz a princess once said, "the most boring thing is to hear story about other people's travel"

LOL that doesn't really make sense but I was never good at explaining things. :P

Shoot Straight

I need to update this story.
I've left it hanging for two weeks now.

and to make a legit excuse, for the last two weeks, my weekend had been dedicated to moving things from the old house to the new.

I know, I should be posting this on my blog at asianfanfics.com instead of here but like I said, I am lazy to go there. wawawa

I am impress by others ability to edit pictures and make posters like this. 
just so impress. 
I remember trying when I was in lower Six. Not a complete failure but not a success either. hahaha
Again, I moved on and now I think it's easier to give such task to people who actually know how and love doing it.

Diana

I finally watched Diana, a movie starring Naomi Watts 

and its about the love story of Diana, Princess of Wales, after her separation from Prince Charles. 
I don't know much about the late Lady Di, but she was actually very famous for her humanitarian acts and charity works.

I only know about her during her funeral news/coverage. the news was so huge that it was all over the radio (Brunei used to have a live broadcast of Capital FM, a famous UK radio station at that time) and Television. I even bought a magazine that solely covers the Funeral with Prince William and Prince Harry shown on the cover. and I am ashamed to tell you that the reason I bought the magazine was because I thought Prince William was cute. (LOL-ing at my childishness)
but being me, I ended up being more curious about the history rather than the scandal that surrounds her at that time (or more correctly, I don't remember reading anything about her scandal at that time. it's when I was older that I heard and understand what was really going on before her tragic death)

So, watching the movie, I wasn't much interested in her lovey-dovey side. I just wanted to see how much truth was put in it. I like how they relived or revamped features or dresses or scenes and speeches from the real ones. I know they're not all truth but it made me happy thinking that they're showing a 'behind-the-scene' footage/story from what I used to see old pictures. I've always loved the "history" behind things. It made you connects and understand a little more why things happened the way they did.

One thing I need to point out though. Towards the end of the movie, it was showed that Lady Di was actually the one who exposed to the press of her whereabouts when she was on vacation with Dodi. As much as I want to understand her intention was actually to catch the attention of her former boyfriend, Hasnat, I just thought that she shouldn't have done it. I mean, she could do little with the coverage, don't you think? She was already being swarmed by paparazzi as it is. I don't know if that part was made up or not but as I said, it would have been less stressful if she hadn't.

all the time when I was watching this movie, a One Direction song kept popping into my mind. it was called, Diana.


 
even from when i first heard this song, I was thinking about Lady Di. the chorus lah, very fitting. but thats just me. Lady Di is the only famous Diana that I know of.

After the movie ended, it occurred to me that yesterday would marked the 14 years of her death. She was killed in a car accident in Paris on 31th August 1997. in the movie, they remake the final moment of her life, thru the security footage at a Hotel's lift and also exit, and the date on at the bottom of the screen was 31.08.97. i feel sad for a second thinking about it. a final moment's in someone's life. how would you feel if that was actually a footage of your love ones?

RIP Diana, Princess of Wales. You showed people what should be done when you were given powers; help the underprivileged and raise the voice of the unheard. You were an amazing humanitarian.

Privileged

I bought this series years ago (maybe back in 2010) and I've only started watching it last week.
(my procrastination  at its best ;) )

and the friend who suggested it was, kinda right, the main character, Megan, was a little bit a like me (while, she said the main character was actualy 'a lot' like me but, I have to disagree). Megan was ms. righteous and wanted to be a writer. I duno about being righteous, but I am sure about becoming a fiction writer someday. :) So, I guess that counts.

and although the story revolved around her becoming a writer, there's just too much drama (as there should be or noone's wants to watch it). I'm not really crazy about the whole 'living with the rich and have privileges' thing but I like the one part of the story that talks about being single for so long and trying to adjust your single minded thinking and compromising others. and how having a bestfriend with the opposite sex can be a problem, somehow. I don't know how Privileged is going to end like, but I hope we don't have to settle for worst.

Fav character so far? Marco the house chef. he's like the 'go to' guy of the house. very funny and sassy! 

Least fav? Can't decide yet. I have to see it to the finish, i guess.

to bad this series was only made for one season. but good to know some characters emerged (and stayed for more than one season) at other famous TV series; Pretty Little Liars, Grey's Anatomy and NCIS.

A/N: 3 discs down, 2 discs more to go.

Ever since 14 Jul,
I've been trying to write a story out of this (see below)

but, as always, it leads to a dead end.

Macam, I wonder how Sara Shepard do it. She wrote the Pretty Little Liars (novel) series up till the 12th book and book no. 13 just came out last couple/few weeks.

How did she keep the story going?
where did she got all that ideas from?

today's post is about how I finally finished the Listen to Me story that I posted on Asianfanfics.com

YAY ME!

I started on 02 Dec 2011 and finished it on 12 May 2013. it has a total of 32 Chapters.

I know, I'm impressed with myself too.

I didn't think I could finish a story at this age. bahahaha (coz I often abandon a story halfway thru :P)

but yeah, I finished it and and it feels good.
I once thought of becoming an author/writer but I guess this is as close as to becoming one. ;)

but the deadlines were killing me (coz most of the time, I needed to post a chapter once a week. that's one tough job you know).

So, even if I wanted to write another story (that I wanted to post. coz I'm always writing something), I'm going to take a little break for now. or at least write a dozen chapters or so before I decided to post it online. that way, i don't have to think about any deadline or whatever. LOL

Ahhh..we'll see.
