my BuJo Mar & Apr Theme

I thought I've shared my March 'cover' theme. rupanya not yet.

April

again, these are inspired by AmandaRachLee's. 

The March one was pretty easy and I was so happy with my color theme. I also love the idea of using only four pages for the spread. I mean, for me lah ah. Since I only wanted to do the cover, calender, mood and habit trackers. 

April was a bit challenging. It took me two nights to finish. The first night I was stressing out and was being so meticulous. Then on the second night, I just 'wing it!'. and I thought to myself, "if only I 'wing it' kemarin I could've finished earlier" lol.

That's the thing about doing this 'BoJu' theme thing; it made me wanna push myself into doing something that I thought I can't do. 

For example, I can't really draw or sketch and when I try, I always ended up stressing about it. but the next thing I do (if I really wanted to do some drawing), I told myself to calm down and just draw. and that usually do the trick! I usually ended up with better drawing/sketch than I expected. 

but too bad I don't listen to my own advise. LOL

ah well.

I wonder what's Amanda's May theme gonna be.

2020 Hello

hi guys!
Happy 2020! 🎉🎉🎉

as always, no major 'new year resolution', just something simpple for me; MOVE FORWARD,  A STEP AT A TIME.

I was wondering what post should I do to start of the year, then I thought, I'm lazy, let's just post pictures. 😂

So, here goes.

I did follow the 2020 layout but some of them already filled in, so this is the only one I can share at the moment.

I feel like this is the most 'exact' copy of Amanda's layout that I followed. *pat-my-back-for-not-being-lazy-lol

I skipped Jan Calendar layout tho,

coz I thought I won't need it but now, I think i need it. will do that lay out later today.

but still, I feel so accomplished. and I did this on 1st Jan, so, a good start to the year. 😉

My sister complimented, "lawa jua yoh.." on my IG post. and that is all the validation I needed 😙💛

as for new year's eve, I went to a BBQ at Hasrin's. I took one picture and a video of burning charcoal/ Like, picture taking at its finest. 
We played UNO and Monopoly Deal. 
NYE well spent.

the moment I heard it, I just, fell in love with it. 

it took me a few listens to 1 of 1 song to properly 'love' it.

but the MV kinda ..nyeh~

I love the Live version more.

but only because Onew was freakin hawt (●´ω｀●)

When I found out the meaning of the song, I finally understand the feel of it; touchy, deep, lost, tell me what I should do, help me, I love you.

I love it EXTRA more when Minho sang the whole first verse!

Minho is really extra; can rap, can dance, athelatic, can act, and can sing!

한마디 is a very beautiful song that show case SHINee vocals more! I love it.

it took me long enough to realize that I really love playing with nail polish but I can't stand them staying on my nails for longer than a day!
I mean, I love the outcome but that is it, after I took picture, I usually removed them.

and the butterfly is...just how beautiful SHINee had grown over the years (aseh! padahal I just thought of this now. hahahahah in all actual-ness, the butterfly was because I ran out of thing to stamp that is SHINee- related. come to think of it, 'areumdaun nabi' beautiful butterfly. an EXO song. LOL! well actual name 나비소뇨/Butterfly Girl and on my itunes I can only see Don't Go)

ANYWAY!

these didn't even survive the night. after I took picture, I removed them.

Inspiration

Diana

I finally watched Diana, a movie starring Naomi Watts 

and its about the love story of Diana, Princess of Wales, after her separation from Prince Charles. 
I don't know much about the late Lady Di, but she was actually very famous for her humanitarian acts and charity works.

I only know about her during her funeral news/coverage. the news was so huge that it was all over the radio (Brunei used to have a live broadcast of Capital FM, a famous UK radio station at that time) and Television. I even bought a magazine that solely covers the Funeral with Prince William and Prince Harry shown on the cover. and I am ashamed to tell you that the reason I bought the magazine was because I thought Prince William was cute. (LOL-ing at my childishness)
but being me, I ended up being more curious about the history rather than the scandal that surrounds her at that time (or more correctly, I don't remember reading anything about her scandal at that time. it's when I was older that I heard and understand what was really going on before her tragic death)

So, watching the movie, I wasn't much interested in her lovey-dovey side. I just wanted to see how much truth was put in it. I like how they relived or revamped features or dresses or scenes and speeches from the real ones. I know they're not all truth but it made me happy thinking that they're showing a 'behind-the-scene' footage/story from what I used to see old pictures. I've always loved the "history" behind things. It made you connects and understand a little more why things happened the way they did.

One thing I need to point out though. Towards the end of the movie, it was showed that Lady Di was actually the one who exposed to the press of her whereabouts when she was on vacation with Dodi. As much as I want to understand her intention was actually to catch the attention of her former boyfriend, Hasnat, I just thought that she shouldn't have done it. I mean, she could do little with the coverage, don't you think? She was already being swarmed by paparazzi as it is. I don't know if that part was made up or not but as I said, it would have been less stressful if she hadn't.

all the time when I was watching this movie, a One Direction song kept popping into my mind. it was called, Diana.


 
even from when i first heard this song, I was thinking about Lady Di. the chorus lah, very fitting. but thats just me. Lady Di is the only famous Diana that I know of.

After the movie ended, it occurred to me that yesterday would marked the 14 years of her death. She was killed in a car accident in Paris on 31th August 1997. in the movie, they remake the final moment of her life, thru the security footage at a Hotel's lift and also exit, and the date on at the bottom of the screen was 31.08.97. i feel sad for a second thinking about it. a final moment's in someone's life. how would you feel if that was actually a footage of your love ones?

RIP Diana, Princess of Wales. You showed people what should be done when you were given powers; help the underprivileged and raise the voice of the unheard. You were an amazing humanitarian.

an exciting moment today

Hello fellow readers!

I know, shocking isn't it, that I am here again today? and that three days in a row, mind you.

So, Sunday. a very dull and slow day for me. but I was calm. am still calm. and I almost finished the Chamber of Secret. :)

during my calm phase, I was watching HBO all afternoon and came accross this movie, Dolphin Tale.

it was a nice movie but the reason why I'm mentioning it here is because, towards the end and thru the ending, they played Westlife's Safe song!! my brother was there when it happened and he was like, 'Kenapa ko?' and I kept on shouting, 'LAGU WESTLIFE!! WESTLIFE!!'

LOL!

that was one of their final songs and I didnt know that an American movie was using it. since, you know, Westlife had always wanted to break the American market before. 

I was excited for them! eventhough Westlife is no longer.
