Hi guys. its that time again. BuJo theme time.

It took me awhile to settle with a theme. as you know, I followed AmandaRachLee's theme since August 2019 and this month she was doing Animal Crossing related theme. 

and I was like, umm..hmm 🤔..nope.

LOL

I have nothing against that game honestly. I just don't. 

• One, I don't have switch. 
• Two, obviously, I don't play it. 
• Third, Amanda made it into flower theme so its not entirely Animal Crossing -esque ? I made a flower theme for Feb 2020 and the size of the flowers were similar too and I don't feel like repeating a theme. So..

So, yeah. I was taking my time deciding what to do. I even browse (endah tak endah tho) her channel to check if there was a theme I can follow. She did make the same suggestion; if you don't want to do the Animal Crossing theme, you can check out her other Plan With Me videos. 
I began thinking of a theme the moment she posted her May Plan With Me, that was like a week before May actually began. So, a week plus? took me a week plus to finally decide with a theme.

I finally decided with this theme; her June 2018 theme.




I almost follow her color scheme, but I thought, lets not. and after some thoughts, I went with light/lime green color scheme. 

Why?? becoz. NCT comebacks!! 
ok, NCT Dream comeback with Reload was 29th April but I don't care, still included lol. 
NCT 127 will be on 19th May, and WayV as well but date not yet disclosed. There are also those VLive Beyond LIVE thing going on (an online live concert thing). SuperM (26th Apr), WayV (3th May), NCT Dream (10th May), and NCT 127 (17th May). I just thought the color fits. 💚💚

I also include Mint color, coz SHINee 12th Anniversary on 25th May and Taemin is in SuperM. 💟


As for the theme, well, I miss Japan. alot. and seeing as we won't be going anywhere anytime soon, I thought, it's not gonna hurt to dream a little. (I was wrong, my heart ached a lot more 💔. Thanks, logic).

I tried making a video while making the Mood Tracker. coz as I was tracing the pencil outline, I thought, "why did I do this to myself?" 😆

it took me a whole weekend to finish this theme. I'm the type to over-think and over-analyze shit so, I feel like its best to not do this continuously. 😋 I did the draft first and then I took a break (a very long one) before finishing with the coloring. Best outcome. 👍


Now, half way thru the month, I am wondering what theme I should do for June. I think I'm having a little inspiration from Amanda's May 2020 theme. Since she was doing a theme from her favorite game, maybe I should do a theme base on my fav game; LINE Play. I mean, there are some fancy little trinkets I could use/draw/trace as accent.

We'll see. Who knows, maybe I like her June theme and just follow that.

April

again, these are inspired by AmandaRachLee's. 

The March one was pretty easy and I was so happy with my color theme. I also love the idea of using only four pages for the spread. I mean, for me lah ah. Since I only wanted to do the cover, calender, mood and habit trackers. 

April was a bit challenging. It took me two nights to finish. The first night I was stressing out and was being so meticulous. Then on the second night, I just 'wing it!'. and I thought to myself, "if only I 'wing it' kemarin I could've finished earlier" lol.

That's the thing about doing this 'BoJu' theme thing; it made me wanna push myself into doing something that I thought I can't do. 

For example, I can't really draw or sketch and when I try, I always ended up stressing about it. but the next thing I do (if I really wanted to do some drawing), I told myself to calm down and just draw. and that usually do the trick! I usually ended up with better drawing/sketch than I expected. 

but too bad I don't listen to my own advise. LOL

ah well.

I wonder what's Amanda's May theme gonna be.

my BuJo Theme this month

a short one. 

I thought I'd shared with you guys a few pictures from my journal/diary February theme. 

I was inspired by AmandaRachLee's LilDoodle fan project's; Self Love. it was in dedication to Amanda as she took a break from youtube for the month. and I think the theme fits well with me too.

February is coming to an end and March is fast approaching. I wonder if I should follow Amanda's March theme or should I do her February theme for my March theme? I don't know what's her March theme going to be like but here's her Feb:

this theme will suit me PERFECTLY too. like, do you know how much pen I bought back in 2018 (or probably even more far back than that) and still belum use to this day? I have a problem.

How I spend my time when My laptop was rusak

Come to think of it, I did all of these when my laptop was 'faulty'! Changing my title from "Kpop Journaling with AmandaRachLee" to "How I spent my time when My laptop was rusak"

I felt guilty at one point, coz I was doing Jaehyun's spread first before I did Onew's. Like, woman, how could you?? to compensate, I did two spread for Onew.

2020 Hello

hi guys!
Happy 2020! 🎉🎉🎉

as always, no major 'new year resolution', just something simpple for me; MOVE FORWARD,  A STEP AT A TIME.

I was wondering what post should I do to start of the year, then I thought, I'm lazy, let's just post pictures. 😂

So, here goes.

I did follow the 2020 layout but some of them already filled in, so this is the only one I can share at the moment.

I feel like this is the most 'exact' copy of Amanda's layout that I followed. *pat-my-back-for-not-being-lazy-lol

I skipped Jan Calendar layout tho,

coz I thought I won't need it but now, I think i need it. will do that lay out later today.

but still, I feel so accomplished. and I did this on 1st Jan, so, a good start to the year. 😉

My sister complimented, "lawa jua yoh.." on my IG post. and that is all the validation I needed 😙💛

as for new year's eve, I went to a BBQ at Hasrin's. I took one picture and a video of burning charcoal/ Like, picture taking at its finest. 
We played UNO and Monopoly Deal.
