Hi guys. its that time again. BuJo theme time.

It took me awhile to settle with a theme. as you know, I followed AmandaRachLee's theme since August 2019 and this month she was doing Animal Crossing related theme. 

and I was like, umm..hmm 🤔..nope.

LOL

I have nothing against that game honestly. I just don't. 

• One, I don't have switch. 
• Two, obviously, I don't play it. 
• Third, Amanda made it into flower theme so its not entirely Animal Crossing -esque ? I made a flower theme for Feb 2020 and the size of the flowers were similar too and I don't feel like repeating a theme. So..

So, yeah. I was taking my time deciding what to do. I even browse (endah tak endah tho) her channel to check if there was a theme I can follow. She did make the same suggestion; if you don't want to do the Animal Crossing theme, you can check out her other Plan With Me videos. 
I began thinking of a theme the moment she posted her May Plan With Me, that was like a week before May actually began. So, a week plus? took me a week plus to finally decide with a theme.

I finally decided with this theme; her June 2018 theme.




I almost follow her color scheme, but I thought, lets not. and after some thoughts, I went with light/lime green color scheme. 

Why?? becoz. NCT comebacks!! 
ok, NCT Dream comeback with Reload was 29th April but I don't care, still included lol. 
NCT 127 will be on 19th May, and WayV as well but date not yet disclosed. There are also those VLive Beyond LIVE thing going on (an online live concert thing). SuperM (26th Apr), WayV (3th May), NCT Dream (10th May), and NCT 127 (17th May). I just thought the color fits. 💚💚

I also include Mint color, coz SHINee 12th Anniversary on 25th May and Taemin is in SuperM. 💟


As for the theme, well, I miss Japan. alot. and seeing as we won't be going anywhere anytime soon, I thought, it's not gonna hurt to dream a little. (I was wrong, my heart ached a lot more 💔. Thanks, logic).

I tried making a video while making the Mood Tracker. coz as I was tracing the pencil outline, I thought, "why did I do this to myself?" 😆

it took me a whole weekend to finish this theme. I'm the type to over-think and over-analyze shit so, I feel like its best to not do this continuously. 😋 I did the draft first and then I took a break (a very long one) before finishing with the coloring. Best outcome. 👍


Now, half way thru the month, I am wondering what theme I should do for June. I think I'm having a little inspiration from Amanda's May 2020 theme. Since she was doing a theme from her favorite game, maybe I should do a theme base on my fav game; LINE Play. I mean, there are some fancy little trinkets I could use/draw/trace as accent.

We'll see. Who knows, maybe I like her June theme and just follow that.

my BuJo Theme this month

a short one. 

I thought I'd shared with you guys a few pictures from my journal/diary February theme. 

I was inspired by AmandaRachLee's LilDoodle fan project's; Self Love. it was in dedication to Amanda as she took a break from youtube for the month. and I think the theme fits well with me too.

February is coming to an end and March is fast approaching. I wonder if I should follow Amanda's March theme or should I do her February theme for my March theme? I don't know what's her March theme going to be like but here's her Feb:

this theme will suit me PERFECTLY too. like, do you know how much pen I bought back in 2018 (or probably even more far back than that) and still belum use to this day? I have a problem.

How I spend my time when My laptop was rusak

to answer: I actually spent my time journaling and reading. like,  ALOT!

Yes, I'm very into journal layout these days. all thanks to Amanda!

actually, lets us all thank internet connection, without which, we won't be expose to many great things to enhance our creativity!
so, THANK U INTERNET! (yes, yes. sometimes I like to sarcastically thank OUR internet but this time, I am sincerely thankful)

Amanda made this Kpop Journal thing last year and it reminded me of the time when I was doing my own kind of fav boyband 'biodata' thing. 😂

I felt guilty at one point, coz I was doing Jaehyun's spread first before I did Onew's. Like, woman, how could you?? to compensate, I did two spread for Onew.

Plan With Me inspo

hi guys.

funny seeing me posting in the afternoon. 

I woke up early today, I guess when you're as old as I am, waking up early by nature is the norm. I needed to pack some things for storage but of course I procrastinated for hours. By 10am baru tah ku get up from bed and started the packing. it didn't take long tho, by 11am, I took a shower and prepared my stuff for my journal.

which brings us to our blog titled today! Plan With Me inspired by AmandaRachLee

first video I watched from her was actually the one with How to Calligraphy tutorial. at that time, I didn't really understand how youtube works. I only subscribed to her last year and since then I've been watching her do her Plan With Me series.

As far as I know, up until (maybe) two years ago, I only ever know one type of journaling; pouring my heart out in a book. So, I only ever enjoyed Amanda's videos thinking I'm never gonna do what she was doing coz I feel like her style is more for people who needs to organize their life. I am not saying I'm organized, you dam well know I am not. LOL besides, what the cook am I supposed to organize, I don't have an hectic life.

but last August, I was like, "Let's follow Amanda" coz she was doing the 80s theme and it was mostly patterns, I thought it will be easy enough for me to follow.

I know Amanda's do a Calendar for the month, Mood Tracker, Habit Tracker, weekly spread, sometimes Brain Dump, and sometimes Playlist.

Initially, I made it so complicated in my head. thinking about what use is it to me to be doing a calendar, weekly spread, brain dump, etc? then I thought, the journal I'm going to use is still very private and I just wanted to add colors into it (not that I don't already have pasted pictures in it), soo I said to myself, 'let's just do the cover, the quotes, habit and mood tracker, and playlist'. and that what's I've been doing for three months. 

Here's a look at my recreations:

August 2019: The 80s

the pastel tho. also, I have most of the colors Amanda was using. I felt 'included' or 'fit in' for once. LOL

I somehow skipped September. Even I don't know what happened in September.

October 2019: Ornaments.

Yeah, don't ask. 

November 2019: Coffee and Tea.

definitely my favorite. LOVE the color scheme.

For the first two months, as you can see, I missed 'filling in' my trackers. I guess I forgot. You see, I don't really write on a daily basis anymore so obviously when i don't write, I don't open the journal, and when i don't open the journal, I don't fill in.

That is why, for November, i decided to set an alarm to remind me to fill in my trackers.

Also, please ignore the previous Mood Trackers. I can't figured out how I was feeling most of the time, especially when i only fill in once every two weeks. I mostly choose neutral to take the easy way out. LOL 
Henceforth! for November, I'm gonna write down what ever or how ever many moods I have for the day. Yes, I have a lot of mood in one day. i don't know how you can just have one. unless people are doing an 'overall' mood. I don't think I can 'overall' my mood. Lemme try and adjust with this November entry first. See how it goes.

As for the Habit Trackers, this is the trickier part.
I went from having 9 Habits, to 6 Habits, to 4 Habits. 
obviously from experience, I realized, i don't have many habits. Unless you consider 'Procrastinating', 'Sleep', or 'Daydreaming' as a habit. Well i think it is, just, I prefer not to glorified those habits.

I add my own spread, Book Read.
I only done two so far. both I have shared in previous post but I'm going to share the second one here.

These two Playlists didn't ikut any theme. I made them when I feel like it.

Yes, it looks like I only listened to certain songs for months and months at a time.

I'm that unchanging.

also, NCT-Jaehyun!! is love!!

And that is all I have for now. Maybe i'll update on another post when I have made more.

So,
what do i gained from doing this 'Planning'?
well

1. it makes me more excited to open my journal; both to write or to try and 'scrapbook-ing'
2. it gives me something to do
3. it helps me occupied; especially the Book Read part. I may not be writing in my journal but at least, I'm filling in my time with reading and not stuck on my phone most of the time.

Of course, it's not for organizing or managing my time this thing that I'm doing. I've done that during work hours, I'm not gonna do that after work hour too.

Now, question of the post: Do you do any journal entry?

Book Read AugSepOct 2019

10:45pm now and I should've done this at 9ish tadi but..are we even surprise at this point? 🤷

So, book read update!

I finally finished my mini Harry Potter marathon.
Started in Aug with the Philosopher's Stone
and
Finished last Monday 21st Oct with the Deathly Hallows.

Two books took longer to finish. Partly becoz I was lazy and another, becoz, I preferred sleep over trying to reach my own personal goals.  😂 

For weeks, I've been having very little sleep becoz of my will to finish reading all the seven books (there were other paranormal factors too but that's a story for another post. maybe) so the moment I finished book seven, I was like, "I can sleep now". i'm even feel super sleepy now. that maybe due to my age factor tho.

So, next!

I'm going to reread the Twilight saga!

the smallest black cover is the first Twilight book i bought, I signed 2014 when i finished reading it and that probably when the first movie came out. maybe. 
the biggest black cover (the 10th anniversary I think), I believe i bought in 2018? maybe? if not pun 2017. i bought it but have not read passed first chapter of the 'reverse' version.
the same height of black and white covers were also bought either 2017 or 2018. these three langsung alum pernah baca. Last time I read from ebooks. I bought them becoz its an anniversary edition (the whites) and I wanted a physically copy of my own. for memory sake. 😉

I made this same 'Book Read' box in  my journal.

I'm not gonna set any strict goals this time around. all I want is to read the three physical copies that I have. maybe If aku rajin, I will try and read the Twilight 'reverse' version again. we'll see.

Just in time for Halloween too!

but i doubt I can finish all 4 before 31st Oct. like I said, no pressure.

My brother texted me on 25th Aug asking me to help with his sons' school project.
themed: Harry Potter.

He said the project is for the coming Monday 27th Aug.

So, I helped by sending pictures (see below)

by this point, I was actually angan2 kan buat kan wand. but since last minit, I didn't say anything.

by Monday night, i texted, "hows the nephews' project?"

he said it was actually for the coming Saturday, 1st Sep.

Suspen.

but now that I have time, I told him that I will make them a wand each. coz I thought it'd be a fun project.

So, I went and bought the supplies.

I even went and eat at a sushi place just so I could take the one-time used chopstick home. ('tapau' was my choice of word that day LOL). of course I cleaned them before hand.

took me 5 hours to finish and a full day to dry the paint.

it was worth it.

I was so pleased with the outcome.

the third short wand is for my niece.

I didn't think it would come out like it did.

I was so blown.

So Saturday happened and I only remembered to ask late Sunday night.

my brother said; teachers were impressed. they thought the boys bought the costume. the older one said his mom made the robe and the wand is hand-made.

I also made them a badge with the house of their choice. the oldest picked Slytherin coz he wanted snake (i think he already made a plan with his friends) and the little one wanted blue, Ravenclaw.

Turned out 1st September is the official Back To Hogwarts Day. and now I understand why my nephews' school decided to do their theme on that day. I also thought, the teacher who suggested that theme must be a Potterhead. LOL

No matter, I'm glad to help my nephews with their projects. It made me realize I can do crafty thing. I mean I always know I can, but that tiny validation and appreciation of my work made me believe that I truly can.

So, thank you brother for the opportunity.
