Hi guys. its that time again. BuJo theme time.

It took me awhile to settle with a theme. as you know, I followed AmandaRachLee's theme since August 2019 and this month she was doing Animal Crossing related theme. 

and I was like, umm..hmm 🤔..nope.

LOL

I have nothing against that game honestly. I just don't. 

• One, I don't have switch. 
• Two, obviously, I don't play it. 
• Third, Amanda made it into flower theme so its not entirely Animal Crossing -esque ? I made a flower theme for Feb 2020 and the size of the flowers were similar too and I don't feel like repeating a theme. So..

So, yeah. I was taking my time deciding what to do. I even browse (endah tak endah tho) her channel to check if there was a theme I can follow. She did make the same suggestion; if you don't want to do the Animal Crossing theme, you can check out her other Plan With Me videos. 
I began thinking of a theme the moment she posted her May Plan With Me, that was like a week before May actually began. So, a week plus? took me a week plus to finally decide with a theme.

I finally decided with this theme; her June 2018 theme.




I almost follow her color scheme, but I thought, lets not. and after some thoughts, I went with light/lime green color scheme. 

Why?? becoz. NCT comebacks!! 
ok, NCT Dream comeback with Reload was 29th April but I don't care, still included lol. 
NCT 127 will be on 19th May, and WayV as well but date not yet disclosed. There are also those VLive Beyond LIVE thing going on (an online live concert thing). SuperM (26th Apr), WayV (3th May), NCT Dream (10th May), and NCT 127 (17th May). I just thought the color fits. 💚💚

I also include Mint color, coz SHINee 12th Anniversary on 25th May and Taemin is in SuperM. 💟


As for the theme, well, I miss Japan. alot. and seeing as we won't be going anywhere anytime soon, I thought, it's not gonna hurt to dream a little. (I was wrong, my heart ached a lot more 💔. Thanks, logic).

I tried making a video while making the Mood Tracker. coz as I was tracing the pencil outline, I thought, "why did I do this to myself?" 😆

it took me a whole weekend to finish this theme. I'm the type to over-think and over-analyze shit so, I feel like its best to not do this continuously. 😋 I did the draft first and then I took a break (a very long one) before finishing with the coloring. Best outcome. 👍


Now, half way thru the month, I am wondering what theme I should do for June. I think I'm having a little inspiration from Amanda's May 2020 theme. Since she was doing a theme from her favorite game, maybe I should do a theme base on my fav game; LINE Play. I mean, there are some fancy little trinkets I could use/draw/trace as accent.

We'll see. Who knows, maybe I like her June theme and just follow that.

How to upload songs to your iPhone

Hi guys.

Not related but I wanted a good thumbnail LOL

let's thank my nephew for giving me the inspiration to make this post today 25th May (and will be scheduled to post in June 😉). 
I mean, this was not the first time people ask me about how to download songs for their iPhone but today is the first time I thought of doing this.
So, let's start.

but before that,
This guide is for people who didn't want to buy songs via iTunestore app and only wanted to download the "free" one. and we all know we can't just download them directly to our iPhone.
Also, please take note that I'm a window and Google chrome user. My steps may differ for mac users.


Step 1.
You must have a computer or laptop. not to discourage you or anything, but if you have neither, I can't help you.

you might be thinking, "what if I borrow someone else's computer?" ...continue to read below..

Step 2.
Download iTunes for your computer here.

when finished downloading, you should see this on your desktop.

Step 3.
Google and download your songs.
Here's one example of where I download my kpop songs

Of course, you can always Google whatever song you wanted to download. but please, only download from trusted websites and at your own discretion!

Once downloaded, the files should go to your 'Download Folder'. or if you're not sure, you can always check that bottom strip (as pictured)

Step 4.
FINALLY to the iTunes part.
Open your iTunes and it's time to fill you iTunes with songs you already downloaded.
Click, File, then Add Files to Library, pick your songs, and click Open.

Your songs should be seen in the Recently Added tab/folder.

Step 5.
Once all your songs uploaded in your itunes, it's time to upload them to your iPhone!

Connect your iPhone with your computer via USB and your iTunes will automatically connect and began syncing.

CAUTION! if this is your first time connecting your iPhone to your computer and iTunes, there will be a notification pop-up on your iPhone and you need to accept that first or your iPhone will fail to connect.

Step 6.
Once your iTunes finished syncing with your iPhone, you can now check your iPhone's Music app and your songs should all be in there.

and you are done! 👏

When you have more to add, repeat Steps 4 and 5, and then click on your iPhone icon in the iTunes and click Sync. coz if you don't click that Sync, nothing will happen. 
Always remember to click Sync and Apply whenever asked.

To answer the "what if I borrow someone else's computer and iTunes?"
the thing about iPhone that everybody should know by now is that, it can't be duplicate. or it can but it can't be maintain.

Let me explain: 
my iTunes already sync to my iPhone. So, when other iPhone connect to my iTunes, yes, that new iPhone can be sync and have all my existing song lists but the moment that new iPhone have any update, and is updated, everything from my iTunes in that iPhone will be gone. 

ALSO, when that new iPhone sync with my iTunes, that new iPhone will have all my info as well, since my iTunes is my iPhone back up, and we don't want that, do we? 
So, for security reasons, I will never again help people that way (I helped 2 people like this in the past 😐)

in conclusion, if you don't have your own computer for your own iTunes, this is guide is not for you.

but no worries!

they have Spotify now. I have not try it. but you can stream your songs there. I believe it uses data? I'm not sure. Check it out here.

I'm sure there are of other ways to listen to songs. You just have to Google it. Make Google your bestfriend! 😂

Aladdin

Hi guys!

Welcome back. 

I realized, as I'm preparing for this post that it's been a long time since my last movie review post.
and what's more awesome than starting again with reviewing Aladdin, the live action version that came out 23rd May 2019.

I watched the movie the next day, 24th May, and was crazily madly in love with it!!!!!

Ok, brief background story, I'm a huge HUGE fan of the classic Aladdin. I watched it many times as a kid. Like, I claimed myself (on the internet, username etc) as Princess Jasmine from when I was 16 years old! and I remembered when I started working, old colleague even bought me a Princess Jasmine pillow! I was that obsessed! 

but of course, as I got older, I wasn't anymore.

UNTIL!

Will Smith posted the live action trailer on his IG. He played Genie and I saw that Naomi Scotts played Jasmine and I was like, "GASP! WHEN?!" coz, One, Will Smith? my fav actor of all time. Two, Pink Ranger as Jasmine? BRING. IT. ON. 
and also, I was feeling nostalgic.

So, when the movie premiered, I was like, I have to watch this. and I did.

In the cinema, as the iconic Disney's castle intro begins, I literally took a deep breath and told myself, "don't high expectation", and exhale. Best pep talk I've ever given myself! coz as the movie started, my mind was open and I allowed this movie in. Yes, there were moments where i remember thinking, "hmm..not as the cartoon but ok" but I don't hate the not-like-the-cartoon bits. In fact, I fell in love with them and for someone who was so obsessed with the cartoon, that's saying something!

and don't get me started on the songs.
Like, music to my ears! I love them! I usually don't like new version of my fav songs but these OST are amazing! love love love!

also, there's a Zayn Malik and Zhavia Ward version of A Whole New World, and hmm 🤔..imma stick with "I usually don't like new version of my fav songs" ◎[▪‿▪]◎ but I still like the live action movie version of A Whole New World. movie version is love.


Ok, now, I know I gave this movie 10/10 but I was curious about one thing: 
why is the guard/soldier/army of the Sultan/Agrabah dressed like the Persian army? 
(I recognized the head gear coz I've been re-watching Prince of Persia for the past couple of weeks ٩◔‿◔۶)
I had to wiki that ish, obviously.
but there was no mentioned of Agrabah being made base on Persia. the only Persian thing related to the live action was the Palace set's design. 
thus, I concluded my research with, Agrabah is a middle-east country, meaning, its military outfit can be similar to or influenced by the Persian army which are also from the middle-east.

still 10/10!

In my opinion, Will Smith made Genie his own version. well done *applause*

Side characters that I like: Dalia and Hakim. ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ

I think that is all the reviews I have for this movie.

by the time this is posted, I probably watched the movie twice more. LOL

One fanaccount on IG asked; which album is your favorite?
My answer?
I don't have fav album, I have favorite song from each album; Good Evening, Chemistry, Lock You Down.

There were some 'support' thing going on before Ep 3 was released and I only found out about it on the release day. 
Turns out, ep 3 contained a song which has Jonghyun's voice in it. Thus, people are comforting and supporting those who are not able to listen to the album yet, for worry of triggers. 
The song they were referring to is Lock You Down.



Since I wasn't aware of it, I was pretty calm when I listened to Lock You Down and actually fell in love with that song right away.

You see, I became a full Shawol during Hello Baby / Jojo era. Meaning, my full on fanatic mode for SHINee was during their 2nd Album, Lucifer.
So, naturally, I love the entirety of the album! Biasa, obsess kan. kantut pun bau harum. LOL!
anyway, one of the song I love most from that album is Shout Out.



Why?
Because everyone sings and everyone raps.

Which is why, when Lock You Down started playing, I was *gasp* and just, LOVE it.

the similarity isn't about how everyone sings and raps (well, it is one of the similarities), to me, the similarity is how it makes me feel familiar to it. Like, it's whole. this song is supposed to be. 
sigh
I don't know know how else to word how I feel about this song.
it is also very cheeky the way they sang it. just like how Shout Out was sang. Like they had a blast recording it. the energy put into the song is fierce *snaps fingers*.
The song is whole.
sigh
I feel bad for saying that, like I'm saying the other 15 songs for Story of Light aren't whole.
It's not that.
That is not what I meant at all.
I swear.

Another thoughts that came to my head as I listen to Lock You Down again, is that, 
Jonghyun's POET|ARTIST album was released as a farewell to us, 
and now 
SHINee included a song which has Jonghyun's voice in this album, is like SHINee's farewell to him.
Not in a forever kinda way, of course.
But a farewell.
*tuck on my heart strings*

I believe the Story of Light promotions are coming to an end. 
I found out yesterday that there will be SMTown concerts in Japan this month. Like, thanks! I have used all my money for Japan in March. LOL

ah well...

looking forward to more of SHINee in the future.

For now,

I need to do more writings on my story instead of procrastinating and making random blog posts.
