How to upload songs to your iPhone

Hi guys.

Not related but I wanted a good thumbnail LOL

let's thank my nephew for giving me the inspiration to make this post today 25th May (and will be scheduled to post in June 😉).

I mean, this was not the first time people ask me about how to download songs for their iPhone but today is the first time I thought of doing this.
So, let's start.

but before that,

This guide is for people who didn't want to buy songs via iTunestore app and only wanted to download the "free" one. and we all know we can't just download them directly to our iPhone.
Also, please take note that I'm a window and Google chrome user. My steps may differ for mac users.

Step 1.

You must have a computer or laptop. not to discourage you or anything, but if you have neither, I can't help you.

you might be thinking, "what if I borrow someone else's computer?" ...continue to read below..

Step 2.

Download iTunes for your computer here.

when finished downloading, you should see this on your desktop.

Step 3.

Google and download your songs.
Here's one example of where I download my kpop songs

Of course, you can always Google whatever song you wanted to download. but please, only download from trusted websites and at your own discretion!

Once downloaded, the files should go to your 'Download Folder'. or if you're not sure, you can always check that bottom strip (as pictured)

Step 4.

FINALLY to the iTunes part.
Open your iTunes and it's time to fill you iTunes with songs you already downloaded.
Click, File, then Add Files to Library, pick your songs, and click Open.

Your songs should be seen in the Recently Added tab/folder.

Step 5.

Once all your songs uploaded in your itunes, it's time to upload them to your iPhone!

Connect your iPhone with your computer via USB and your iTunes will automatically connect and began syncing.

CAUTION! if this is your first time connecting your iPhone to your computer and iTunes, there will be a notification pop-up on your iPhone and you need to accept that first or your iPhone will fail to connect.

Step 6.

Once your iTunes finished syncing with your iPhone, you can now check your iPhone's Music app and your songs should all be in there.

and you are done! 👏

When you have more to add, repeat Steps 4 and 5, and then click on your iPhone icon in the iTunes and click Sync. coz if you don't click that Sync, nothing will happen.

Always remember to click Sync and Apply whenever asked.

To answer the "what if I borrow someone else's computer and iTunes?"

the thing about iPhone that everybody should know by now is that, it can't be duplicate. or it can but it can't be maintain.

Let me explain:

my iTunes already sync to my iPhone. So, when other iPhone connect to my iTunes, yes, that new iPhone can be sync and have all my existing song lists but the moment that new iPhone have any update, and is updated, everything from my iTunes in that iPhone will be gone.

ALSO, when that new iPhone sync with my iTunes, that new iPhone will have all my info as well, since my iTunes is my iPhone back up, and we don't want that, do we?

So, for security reasons, I will never again help people that way (I helped 2 people like this in the past 😐)

in conclusion, if you don't have your own computer for your own iTunes, this is guide is not for you.

but no worries!

they have Spotify now. I have not try it. but you can stream your songs there. I believe it uses data? I'm not sure. Check it out here.

I'm sure there are of other ways to listen to songs. You just have to Google it. Make Google your bestfriend! 😂

I hope this guide is simple enough for beginners but if it's not so, you can always comment below and I will try to help you some more 😉

Until next time,

Ja ne~~

Misconception of Me

composed 02 Sep 2018. 4:13pm
Finished composing: 7:21pm
Start editing: 7:21pm
Done: 8:01pm
re-edit: 9:08pm

This was supposed to be made on 1st Sep but as always, when composing something in anger, I usually will not post them right away.
for someone with extreme temper like myself, I know very well that nothing came out good when you do things out of anger.

I composed the original on my phone on 31st Aug.
I might still not post this up yet.

Why not, you might ask?
becoz I'm not sure what I wanted to tell.
the truth?
the glossed-over truth?
the vague truth?

I just hope when I finally decided to post this up, it's not gonna end up a very messy essay. LOL

Anyway,
I try putting my "Misconception" in point form. let's see how things go from there.

but before we continue, a few notes;

NOTE 1: THIS IS A LONG ASS RIDE. So, if you don't feel like reading to the end, LEAVE.

NOTE 2: make your judgement ONLY AFTER YOU READ TILL THE END.

NOTE 3: Vulgar language is used. maybe.

1. I am not rich.

I don't know why this is on top my head when I started the list.
But I feel like this is the biggest Misconception of Me of all.
coz for some reason people thought I have an overflowing supply of cash (Aminn Ya Rabb!)
Anything I have, anything I bought (both planned and impulsively), I earned them.
Yes, I may ended up "broke" becoz of it, but I still earned it.
Like what my sister told me just recently; "Bukan inda mampu, inda mau" I cannot translate that into English at this moment.
There's this famous malay saying; "Di mana ada kemahuan, di situ ada jalan" and another, "Nak hendak seribu daya, tak hendak seribu dalih".
I'm not saying I live by these sayings but I applied this to anything involving money.
So, don't come to me and said, "easy for you to say, ko kaya ah" (Ya Allah, Aminn aku kaya) but no.
Aku mampu untuk benda yang aku mahu sahaja.

2. My temper.

Yes, I know, I have bad temper.
it's becoming a huge 'issue' at work.
it's 'affecting' my work.
◔_◔
one: it doesn't.
two: marah ku bukan tanpa sebab.
and it is especially an issue when I'm quiet.
three: I know I'm ugly when I'm angry, so I prefer to stay quiet.
four: or would you prefer I lash out with angry words?
another issue that came to my attention is that, people thought they cannot point out MY mistake to me. becoz, according to them, I got pissed.
щ(ಠ益ಠщ)
five: when you talk shit behind my back or make snide comments that you thought I did not hear, at those times, were you thinking of my feelings?
six: so, I don't understand why you care if I get angry when you try pointing out my mistake to me.
You once said that pointing out mistake is to teach us. So, teach me. So what if I got pissed?! you don't care about my feelings any other time. so why care how I feel when you tell me I make a mistake? or in malay, takut kan bagitau aku, yang aku buat salah?
seven: you shouldn't be scared. Ko lurus. Aku salah. it's that simple. Fuck my temper if you truly want me to learn and better myself.
Why then, I'm pissed when my mistake is being pointed out to me?
It's the way you pointed them out to me.
Eight: you pointed them out in front of everybody as a lesson.
Nine: When you worried about my anger, you straight up not tell me about my mistake and let others handle it. One reason I heard of why people do this is: Menjaga hati ku. Taking care of my feelings? Really? Doesn't that make me, I don't know, blur? How can I know I make a mistake when I'm not being told I make a mistake? You think I make mistake on purpose, is it?
Mistake is a mistake. It happened and I wouldn't know I make them until someone tell me that I make them.
and here's number ten: and then you made it seems like I'm too sensitive?
eleven: and you have the audacity to call me "defensive" ?
twelve: YOU GUYS STILL WONDER WHY I'M FUCKING ANGRY?!

3. My retaliation

in case you don't what it means:

as mentioned, I prefer to stay 'diam' when I'm mad/pissed/angry.
and I can already hear you readers thinking "lurus bah, cAz ani yg sensitive, inda dapat ketaguran".
True. maybe I am.
but read this next line properly.
Every body has a different way of handling a situation.
My way just happened to be: Marah dalam diam.
Why? because you love to point out my mistake in a meeting.
Wanna know how I feel about that? Humiliated.
and wanna know how I deal with that? Marah dalam diam.

Ok, you may say that it's all in my head, too sensitive to "teguran".
but wouldn't you be?
Other people buat mistake but they are being "console" in private.

Why I'm being "console" in a meeting?

Of course I retaliate. in Silent.
coz I know my silent kills them softly inside. MUAHAHAHAH

and I'm the bad person for reacting that way to them after what they did to me?

I'm giving back what you have given me and you still say I'm the bad person here?

Really?

4. Self-reflect

with all my anger and retaliation mentioned,
here comes my self-reflect.
I maybe angry becoz of the way you convey your message to me
but
as I let my thoughts run, I always go back to being that "snapped out of it" person and accepted my faults.
this part of this post isn't trying to show or to tell you that I'm good.
but to show you that Anger is not my core. it's not my whole entire being.
Anger is a feeling I have, arises by the situation that I'm in.
(Kindly watch Disney's Inside Out to understand that kind of shit)
anyway,
as I was saying,
After I let my thoughts run its course, I usually let go of my anger (towards people) and accepted that I made the mistake.
because that's the truth, I made a mistake.
by accepting that, I can now focus on improving myself from making that same mistake again
that is all.

5. My conscience.

or should I say My GUILT Conscience.

here's the meaning if you don't know:

Every time I do something bad or did a mean clapback, I always feel guilty about it afterwards.
I would want to apologize and I probably should~
but my ego said, "No, they deserve it. Sampai bila kan diam saja when they suka hati buat cematu? Ingat robot? Ingat nada perasaan? I am human"
and I believe that my ego is right.
Sometimes my guilt will eat my insides for days
but my ego.
my ego.
I refused to apologize when I finally made a clapback to the people who did me wrong for so many times before.
I will stand my ground and say you deserve what you've got.
and again, when this happened, I will be seen as the bad person. but read point no. 3 for another cycle of why I'm giving you back what you asked for.

6. My Ground. or Aku ada pendirian.

This point kinda the very reason that triggers me to make this post.

I found out very recently that I'm being dubbed as a bad influence to a certain human being.

*tarik nafas panjang2 and release. and remain fucking calm for this*

I have two of my mom's advices that I wana share here;
a. "Jangan luan pemarah~ nada urang suka~"
b. "You have a choice"
I should have put advice (a) in point no. 2 LOL!
but advice (b) is on another level; it was not said to me in English, nor was it said to me in Malay in that way.
Story time!
Not really.
When I was young, whenever I did something wrong and at that time was with a cousin or a friend, my mom would head on scolded me and me alone. I don't remember the exact scolding but what I take from it (and to this day) is, "you have a choice". If someone tag you along to do something and you know you shouldn't be doing them, but still do it anyway becoz someone told you to, then, to my mom, you are to blame.
because
You have a choice.
End of Story.
sorta.

back to the present.
I was told that I'm a bad influence to someone.
let's give this someone a name, Joy.

Hmmm..
how should I put this? I can't just put out a story half way. you might agree that I AM a bad influence.
I also can't put out the entire work story coz I will be damned.
but wait, didn't I already do that in point no.2? ┏(^0^)┛┗(^0^) ┓
hmmmm..
to be honest, at this point, I'm so tired. Mentally tired. coz malas ku kan pikir lagi. but I promised I posted something yesterday and now it's the day after. I need to commit to this. and walk my talk.

Let's not go back too long in the past and let's keep the circle within my unit.
but I've been quite the loner for years.
coz I'm the type yang wouldn't even try and be "friendly" with people yang I know talk shit behind my back.
and for so long too, I have set my mind into keeping the "relationship" strictly business.
coz if I don't keep it strictly business, I will make it personal and no one wants that.
So,
Joy used to be a duo but now they fall out.
They used to be the super duo who love to talk shit behind my back.
After the fall out, Joy started hanging out with me and other friends from a another unit after work; like, watch movies and eat out.
and I should mentioned that in at least half of these outing, Joy had been telling me about her struggle; emotionally and mentally. Of course, aku kesian. I've been there too. So, I listened.
I also gave her work advice; "jangan tah ingau apa ya buat atu. Keraja tetap keraja. We still need to communicate with one another. yg penting keraja siap".

but some people see this 'blossoming friendship' differently.

You see, Joy used to be this cheerful person and talkative.
but after the fall out, she kept to herself.
So instead of seeing her 'professionalism' for not mixing personal emotions with work, she was dubbed as sensitive and defensive, and temper-mental.
Sounds familiar?
She was even told straight out that she was acting like me.
◔_◔
which to me, is basically saying, I'm a bad influence to Joy.
like
╭∩╮(︶︿︶)╭∩╮

a. she's always had a temper. even from the moment she joined us. and you know that.
b. PLEASE TAKE NOTE! SHE KEPT TO HERSELF EVEN BEFORE SHE STARTED TO HANG OUT WITH ME AGAIN!
c. if ia yg terikut-ikutan aku, that's not my problem.

you know why it's not my problem? coz
d. I didn't go out of my way to 'recruit' her
e. make her sensitive, defensive, and temper-mental.
f. She comes to me, ok?
AND
My advice is clear; don't worry about personal things during working hours. Focus on your work. If other people continue to act like crap, then let them. there's only 8 hours of working. it doesn't really matter. it's just a day's work.
If Joy chose to follow my "bad" behavior instead of the good one, that is not my problem.
because she has a choice.

wanna know why this point is titled My Ground?
becoz I know where I stand.
and I will fight for what is right. you can say whatever you want about me but the Truth Will Out.
I know when people don't like me and I'm not gonna go around trying my hardest to convince them to like me.
I don't let other people to manipulate my mind. Cukup tah people manipulate my words. I don't need them to mess with my mind too.

and my advice to Joy would be to find her own ground and stand firm.

7. I have a life.

I have a life outside of work.
I have a life when I'm not with you.
I have a life.
So don't you ever think that I can't live without you.
Work is work.
Life after work, is life after work.
You wanna continue to make me feel like crap during working hours? Dipersilakan.
Just know, the moment I clock out, I have another life to think about.

8. Victim.

this is a short one.
When people acted shit towards me and I happened to get back at them, they acted like they're the victim.
When in reality, they initiate the attacks and I only retaliate.
I was never a rebel without a cause, ok? Put that inside your head.
If you feel like I'm angry with you or acted mean to you, ask yourself, what have you said and what did you do that make me this way.
Stop playing victims.
If you don't know if you can handle the consequences that comes when you create a situation, don't start.

In conclusion:

I understand most of the things that had happened is because of how I reacted to them.
I could be gracious in handling them too.
but yatah tu..
I'm temper-mental.
and too sensitive.
In my defense, I acted accordingly.

(~ ̄▽ ̄)~

this doesn't just apply to work-life situation. it also apply to real life situation.
Yes, I have two life; Work-life and Real-Life. Work-life isn't real. You put up a front to deal with that place and when you clock out, you're real life begins.

Ok, ok. working is real, of course. it pays the bill.

but what I meant by that is,
"If you fall in your life, neither your boss nor clients will offer you a helping hand; your family and friends will" - Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
or in my words, anything happened outside of work, neither your boss nor colleagues care; my family and friends saja yang care.

. . . .

Thank you so much if you come this far. I told you its a long ass ride.
I really appreciate your time.
Just don't judge me too harshly after this. (∪ ◡ ∪)
There's always two sides of the story and this is mine.

Reviews? Part 1

for the first time ever, I'm putting up reviews of the cosmetics that I am using (albeit only once up to this moment :P)

and the first one that I'm going to review today is *drum rolls*

LIPHOP Red Lip Gloss
Wine Lip Tint
no. 06
I don't know if this is a genuine Korean product; most of the writings at the back and sides are in Korean though. *shrug*

bought this in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia at one of the cube shops.
reasons for buying: kpop! (Lipstick, Chateau wainbit keolleo La la la la) cEXO punya lagu, Lotto.
the funny part is, the song didn't even said anything about a lipgloss/liquid lipstick thingy. it was just mentioning the color of a lipstick: wine color. but somehow this kind of liquid lipstick/lip gloss became so pamos!
I must be missing something.
in the beginning I don't want to be like everybody else, but then I also thought, come on, I'm a girl and I can buy this. LOL
and so I did. :P

anyways,

the Reviews:

i/ Fully pigmented from the first stroke. one dip into the tube can already cover my whole lips.

ii/ multiple coats will results in dark spots.

iii/ When dry, it doesnt transfer.

Even when I was putting on some lipbalm (coz it became too dry) the color does not transfer to my finger (not picture for this one)

iv/ I know! it says 'Lipgloss' but it doesn't gloss. Instead, it becomes matte.

v/ but once my lips touches water, the tint wear off like what

vi/ the first time it wears off, I was still so impress at how much color my lips still have

vii/ HARD to wash off completely. Even after I use my make up remover. So, I have to constantly wash my lips with water.

End of reviews.

Seems like I have more cons and pros
but
Will I wear it again? Heck yeah. coz I love the color! (and I'm not about wasting :P)
ganya, I don't know when I'll wear it again since aku pun jarang pakai lipstick going anywhere anyway hahaha

Zawir bought me another one

(THANKS BRUH!)
I'm pretty sure this one is a China version. forgive me if I am wrong.
I'm still not very sure what brand both these lip tint are from.
I used it the day before I used the above but I didn't think of reviewing it just then. So, the review on that one will come nanti2 lah. xD

First time reviewing is so nerve wrecking and yet so satisfying!

Me is backk

3 more days and it would be a month since my last post.

Hi guys!
I am back! and I just got back from my Japan trip yesterday too.

before I post anything about the trip, lets get a few 'Lesson Learn' out of the way.

1. you might want to study your flight time before you buy them. Ours had a layover of over 12 hours before we finally fly off to Japan and thats another 8 hours. THE WAITING WAS UNBEARABLE!

2. buy data line, rent pocket wi-fi, etc at the airport when you arrived. utmost important!
We didn't. and it was hard trying to find our hotel without the internet. we didn't even have a map. and none of us can read Kenji! nasib ada a paci and an uncle sudi to help us lost ladies. ahahaha

3. you might want to check the nearest train station (if thats your main transport) to your hotel AND place of destination. It might say on Agoda that "20mins from this destination to that destination" In reality, we stayed at a hotel that was 5 to 7 stops away from our wanted destination. *ketawa sampai keluar air mata* its not even funny.

4. Jangan malu bertanya. Kalau inda tau, tanya. If you didn't ask, the answer will always be 'No'.
Just ask, When in doubt, ask. People in Japan are very helpful. Some are more friendlier than others but they still help. You may look dumb to them but hey, you're a visitor. you don't live there. you are bound to not know about stuff. What I like about Japan is that even when they do not speak English well, they still try their hardest and best to help you. its very touching.

5. I don't know about you but my best choice for footwear was my Fipper, the currently famous flip flop in Brunei.

I wore shoes the day I fly to Japan (8th and 9th), and then when I was in Universal Studio Japan (10th) and lastly, I wore it at Disneyland (12th). the rest, I just slipped on my flip flop. remember when I mentioned about how our hotel was far away from the train station? yeah, I walked a lot and I'm telling you now that I never walked so much in my life! thus my feet hurt like hell hence the wearing comfortably of the flip flop.

I might be missing some more points but
I think that is all for now.
I will add some more in the next post if I came across one along the way.

Until next time,
ciao~

I'm only human

I can hold my breath
I can bite my tongue
I can stay awake for days

If that's what you want

I can fake a smile
I can force a laugh

If that's what you ask
Give you all I am

I can do it

But I'm only human
and I bleed when I fall down
I'm only human
I crash and I break down

I can turn it on
Be a good machine
I can hold the weight of the world
If that's what you need

I can do it

But I'm only human

Just a little human

I can take so much

Until I've had enough

(Pretend) Recital Practice

I'm not sure if I've always known this habit but;
I search lyrics for my current fav song and start to menghafal the song like I was going to perform it in front of a live audience, when I'm stressed/pressured/depressed/etc.

LOL

and it's great way of losing or letting out my anger.

thus, here's the new song that I've been practicing; Ailee's 한걸음 더.
the English translation is One Step Closer.

and this is the 5th Korean song that I took the time to 'hafal' the song by studying the Hangul lyrics.
in case you guys curious what's the other 4 songs are, let me list them down real quick;
1. BoA - No.1
2. SMTown - Dear My Family (I AM ost)
3. SMTown - Hope
4. So Hyang - Arirang Alone

No. 2 and 3 atu aku hafalkan konon nya kan sing-a-long time liat concert di Singapore few years back. hahaha

I know, I'm like Kpop lover and cheese. There should be at least a SHINee song in that list, right? but honestly, I love the songs but still prefer Japanese song over Korean. Coz I can pronounce Japanese (reading the romanization of course, not the real Japanese character) better than I can with Korean. LOL!

Anyhoo,
Like I did with BoA's Close To Me, I'm going to share with you guys Ailee's 한걸음 더 lyrics here.
it's not mine, I took from a website via Google search.
Let's menghafal this song together now~~!

keep it together my child
울지 마 dry your eyes
더 이상 숨지 마
크게 소리쳐 봐 아픔을 외쳐 봐
뒤돌아 웃어 now
no no 또 하루를 보내
서로를 위해 한 걸음 더 가깝게
다가갈 수 있게 받아준 그 사람
어두웠던 내 맘에 사랑으로
날 밝혀준 건 너

and here's a audio video with the lyrics also, just so you know what the song sounds like xD

I had tears in my eyes the first time I heard this song. and I don't even know what it means at that time. ahahah

. . .

a/n: I know I've been depressed with myself lately and I really don't know what to do with this anger. and yesterday, the last straw had been thrown my way and I am done. It's been long overdue and it's time to move on.

me being a girl, ranting ...

I seriously need to polish my interviewee skill.

and I think interviewer should at least do their homework too. Like, prepare your questions?

Just my opinion
but I believe conversation comes from both sides.
You can't expect me to just talk, can you?
It's the first time we are meeting each other.
We both are awkward.
Since I'm the interviewee, I think I am allowed to 'speak when spoken to'.
You on the other hand should at least keep the conversation going.

Seriously, I've been interviewed by this company twice and both times been like that.

I know interviews are meant to be quote serious unquote but still.

I've been to a lot of interviews and no matter how strict the nature of the interview was at least they know what they were doing and asking of me.

I know. I'm ranting. and some of you might think, "It's not the interviewer, it's you" bla bla bla but really, as disappointed as I am with myself, I still think it could've been better on their side too.

Sigh.

Not all of us is a natural in keeping a conversation going, ok?

moving on~

Reading is Fun

I finished this book couple of weeks ago. It was a fun read and an eye opener. a lot of perspectives too. made me feel lucky that I already lived in a Muslim country.  i know there are a lot more sentences that I like but these are a few that i managed (when I say 'managed' I mean, the one that I 'rajin') to take.

this is true. in Brunei particularly. when you work as a banker or work as a clerk in a govt offices, people would often say, "ok jua tu" and I always thought 'why wouldn't it be ok?' why can't people just say, "alhamdulillah". Luckily for me, most of my cousins (the fav anyways) are all very supportive and nice.

this one hit home real hard. its exactly how I feel on first day of Syawal.

Just give it a read and you'll love it.

THIS IS NOT A DRILLL!

then again, it was.

Hello happy people. Happy Wednesday.
I've always love Wednesday; 1. the first I learned about my birthday, it happened on a Wednesday, and 2. it's half thru the week!!
Yup, I'm already looking forward to the weekend. -.-

anyhoo, let's go back to the 'this is not a drill' post.

Yesterday, Baiduri Bank BHD, Kiarong Branch, Block B held a full pledge Fire Drill Session.
I'd only find out 30 minutes before it started. (apparently, we weren't supposed to know since, you know, it's a drill. they wanted to know whether we know what we were supposed to do if such incident happened; bank procedure, security, etc etc).
Several colleagues and I were nervous. I know, what for?? LOL but it was a good laugh.
So, when the Fire Alarm broke, I was like, 'Laju Arman, this is no time to walk in this pace. Move! Move! Move!' and 'this is not a drill! move! move! move!'. hahaha i was so into the 'action', bringing up the rear! hahahaha

when we were 'secured' at the Assembly Point, we were all excitedly (or penyeluru kinda way) making a head counts to which, our unit missed a person. we told our Fire Marshall immediately, to which he replied, "Mati ya". I laughed and then -.- bleh kh, klu serious for once? but turns out, the missing person was indeed 'Dead' (acting as more like. lol!).

the Bomba came soon after (to which we were all made that 'what.the.' tone when the Firemen couldn't even open the door to get out of their vehicle. "Cemana kn menyelamat kn kami ni mun buka pintu pun inda pandai?" said a colleague). the Police (blocking up roads), and later, the Ambulance.

I didn't quite get about what the whole drill was all about. it was fun (inda payah kaja for almost an hour or so xD) but it was also Panas and boring.

A car was smashed. bad construction ordeal. (poor Belinda. time2 kan bonus ani jua lah)

the fire was towards the inner part of the building, but the Firemen watered the wrong side of the building. everybody was making fun of it. it was all for a good laugh. I know it was a drill but can't you make it a tad bit more realistic?

and towards the end, the excitements were wearing off and people became restless. I, for once, decided to take a picture.

LOL.

took a picture with Edy too. (his car was being washed oleh bomba. "nasib jua andangnya kamah").

all in all. it was just another 'work day out' day. it finsihed around 11am and we all quickly went back into the office, not for the work but for the AIRCOND!! lol.

A/N: at least now I know what to do when there's a Fire.
