Appreciated

First recognition EVER!

I had been with this company for 15 years at that point and never had I ever been given an appreciation/recognition award! this was awarded to me during the Mid Year Closing.

When I heard the description of the reason I was receiving the award, my initial thought was, "it's no big deal" and realized how brainwashed I was to be thinking that. When in reality, if it was that not big of a deal, someone else should've done. So yeah. Never down play your contribution to the department my girlie, you've contributed more than enough.

The award was actually a shared award with my officer as well coz we both worked on the task together. 

So yay me! 🥳🥳🥳

I was definitely motivated to do a lot more at the time. Coz suddenly it was worth it.

I received another similar award after this one and this was awarded to me during End Year Closing.

but I forgot that one pasal apa. LOL coz I wasn't really listening but I believe it was more about me being recognized doing at least 3 people's job most of the time LOL I remember thinking "memang patut di appreciate my effort ani!" ahaha yeah I was bitter.

Hi guys!
I know, left this blog for a while.
becoz, I haven't got the motivation to post.

Not that I have any now but I guess, lets just do it!

So,
I thought I share with you guys about my first ever love;

LONDON!

I think why 'loving London' is so embedded in me is becoz ever since EVER, London or UK has always been the it destination for success. It was what everyone talked about back then. 
Aunties would talk non-stop when their children flew there to continue their education, etc.

I wasn't one of them. not academically, at least.

I went to the UK in 2009 for two weeks.

I remember the talk I had with one of the tellers when I withdrew my money (via counter at that time) before belayar. He asked me why am I taking out so much money and I told him for my vacation. and he asked me where, I said UK and he said, "jauh jua vacation ani".
LOL
I find it funny now coz 
1. I don't think teller should be asking me why I'm withdrawing money from my OWN account.
2. mind your own business.

That was 8 years ago.

Nowadays, I'm not as obsess with UK as I was before.
I've opened my heart to other countries/places, the most current one being, Japan!

but that doesn't mean I don't love London still.

I mean, for example, with tudung, if I have to choose between London theme print with Paris theme print, I would, in a heartbeat, choose London theme. coz, I don't get Paris and her Eiffel Tower. #nohateplease#LOL

and more recently, I bought a new bag, which I love so much!
I feel like I've been looking for a new bag (bought a couple but to no satisfaction) and when I finally saw this bag, I'm just, "you are everything that I didn't know I was looking for" to put it a dramatic way.
hahahaha
but seriously!
that's how I feel with this new bag.

I mean, LOOK AT IT! ♥‿♥

So, on 7th February, I decided to dress surrounding my bag theme.

I wore dark blue with red/white square-dots print, a black with tiny white anchor print, and my London-associates-theme tudung.

accessories? my London-theme watch and my bag (of course).

Wore red lipstick coz red.

I bought this, days before I finally decided on buying my bag. hahaha my thoughts were "matching sama my future bag" hahaha I'm an obsessive person!

Reviews? Part 1

for the first time ever, I'm putting up reviews of the cosmetics that I am using (albeit only once up to this moment :P)

and the first one that I'm going to review today is *drum rolls*

LIPHOP Red Lip Gloss
Wine Lip Tint
no. 06
I don't know if this is a genuine Korean product; most of the writings at the back and sides are in Korean though. *shrug*

bought this in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia at one of the cube shops. 
reasons for buying: kpop! (Lipstick, Chateau wainbit keolleo La la la la) cEXO punya lagu, Lotto.
the funny part is, the song didn't even said anything about a lipgloss/liquid lipstick thingy. it was just mentioning the color of a lipstick: wine color. but somehow this kind of liquid lipstick/lip gloss became so pamos! 
I must be missing something.
in the beginning I don't want to be like everybody else,but then I also thought, come on, I'm a girl and I can buy this. LOL
and so I did. :P

anyways, 

the Reviews:

i/ Fully pigmented from the first stroke. one dip into the tube can already cover my whole lips.

ii/ multiple coats will results in dark spots.

iii/ When dry, it doesnt transfer. 

Even when I was putting on some lipbalm (coz it became too dry) the color does not transfer to my finger (not picture for this one)


iv/ I know! it says 'Lipgloss' but it doesn't gloss. Instead, it becomes matte.

v/ but once my lips touches water, the tint wear off like what 

vi/ the first time it wears off, I was still so impress at how much color my lips still have

vii/ HARD to wash off completely. Even after I use my make up remover. So, I have to constantly wash my lips with water.

End of reviews.

Seems like I have more cons and pros
but
Will I wear it again? Heck yeah. coz I love the color! (and I'm not about wasting :P)
ganya, I don't know when I'll wear it again since aku pun jarang pakai lipstick going anywhere anyway hahaha

I'm pretty sure this one is a China version. forgive me if I am wrong.
I'm still not very sure what brand both these lip tint are from.
I used it the day before I used the above but I didn't think of reviewing it just then. So, the review on that one will come nanti2 lah. xD

books and more books

my last book for 2014 was Anne of Green Gables

and my first book for 2015 was Anne of Avonlea.

both books are worth the read. I like how the main character was not given a love interest right until the very end. like literally the last two pages of Anne of Avonlea baru tah ada love interest of the main character. Although I already know it would be that guy but Anne is just 'not seeing'.

It just shows how love between man and woman isn't the center of the universe. and that love isn't always about between man and woman. there are other types of love; mom and child, bestfriend, closes of friends, neighbours, the whole town - you name it and love is that big of a meaning. Simple plang storyline nya but still I love them both. 
It was inspiring too. remember me being upset about not going to school? well, I am over it. I meant over being sad. "When there is will, there is way"

YES! I feel like reading something in a more present world. (Coz Anne stories was set back in 1900s, i think).
