at first I was like, 'nyeh' but after Key made fun of the song, I ended up enjoying it and now becoming a fav. the beat after killing me is FIREEE 🔥🔥🔥🔥

2. NCT's From Home, from  Resonance pt.1

I mean, the idea that this song was sang in 4 different languages and the member sang in their native languages, is just, LIT. good job song producers. 💖

3. Mamamoo's Travel

I know we can't travel yet but doesn't stop me from dreaming about it.

this song reminds of NCT's Paradise. the vibe similar. love 💚💚💚

Yes, December! the end of an era! the start of a new day! I mean, not yet but soon. 
Since it's end of era, I thought, I need to make some posts before the year end. 🙊

Hmm... I guess good songs truly never expires. as you can see, I still listens to old songs a.k.a Celine Dion's Faith (2003) and Charice's One Day (2011).

this is the most unexpected one. I fell in love with the entire album (pretty rare occasion for me).

her previous album that I downloaded, Brave Enough, I only listen to 4 songs out of 18.

the faded ones are the one i untick coz i usually untick songs that I often skipped when they come in the shuffle.

for the living

hi guys.

Selamat Berpuasa to my muslim friends. 

Today is already the 7th day. Time flies so fast.

as tradition dictates, I had my second 1L cup milk tea from Easyway. 

and I'm sure I'm gonna have a couple more before Puasa month is over. Since this cup only available during Puasa. (*˘︶˘*)

another common thing during Puasa is Bertahlil (prayer for the one already passed away) and Menyungkaikan (breaking of fast with other people at your house) functions.
No, I have not been to one yet. There will be one function next week tho.

I should also point out that puasa is the month when the one who left before us will come and visit. (Imagine the movie Coco, but instead of worldly gifts, they left when we sedekah prayer to them and they continue doing that for the whole month of Ramadhan). this thought alone makes me a little more emotional than usual. ⊙︿⊙

You know how when someone passed away and there'd be a lot of people come by their home or to their final resting place to pay respect? I've always wondered; did we come or go there becoz we wanna say goodbye to the deceased or to give support to the one left behind?

My sister's bestfriend's mother passed away on 30th April 2019. and I found out from the bestfriend's sister's IG. of course, I felt sorry for their lost. but also I remember thinking, "Not that I know the mom well, but I should go for the betahlil for these two sisters", you know, for moral support. and i did go to the betahlil that night and I finally understand what Dumbledore meant when he said to Harry, "Do not pity the dead, pity the living".
Because the one left behind still need to continue living. and I understand now, why we need to visit them often for the first 40 days. for moral and emotional support.

with that I conclude, at least for me, I come for the one left behind. Because losing someone is not something you can get over with, you just learn to live with it, and we wanna be there for them, to show them, their life is still worth living for, we wanna help them want to continue living.

I'm not saying we should only be extra supportive during Puasa month, I'm saying, be there for the living. whenever. They appreciate it when we come and pray together with them as a form of support. Our small gesture of kindness counts.

That's it. be kind.

as always, when its a Japanese release, its hard to find original audio on youtube -,- So, the above is, I believe, an audio taken during one of their dome tours. 

I finally understand why this song was so emotional when they sang it back at their dome tours in Japan last February.

a/n: I'm not being superstitious but I don't like the idea behind 'the best' album or yg sewaktu dengan nya for example Westlife's The Greatest Album. 
I just don't trust the idea behind it.

Too Soon

there are two things that I find too soon for me;

1. to read Five Days Left by Julie Lawson Timmer

2. to watch Along with the Gods : The Two Worlds

the book was too raw for me coz I tried to baca on early Jan. but by the beginning of chapter 3, I can not take it and stopped.
the story was about a woman sick with cancer and planned to take her own life at her own term. Instead of waiting for the cancer to claim her life, she decided to take her own life before the cancer did.
the part yg made me felt a lump in my throat was when she set the date of when she's going to take her life.
I feel like Jonghyun was like that too. He already set a date. there was excert from an interview where he said he wanted to rest in Dec/2017 no matter what. I just thought, as I read that book first chapter, "he planned it"
there was that security guard punya witness account about what Jonghyun was doing in the last moment at the apartment he rented; he was driving fast and making lots of noise with his car. a fan said he was contemplating. He must've had second thoughts. sigh
every time I thought if this, there are lots of "if only"

The Two Worlds was a lot tougher to handle but I get thru it. (Pasal liat diwayang. nothing else I can do but watch sampai habis LOL)
this one lagi dashyat. my heart skipped a bit part the funeral scene.
as we know, I have read a lot of article during/after Jonghyun's funeral.
Part yg aku feel was when the movie's main character's mother sat in front of her son potrait and then there was an annoucement about putting the body into the casket.
during Jonghyun's, a post said his was done privately in the presence of  his loved ones.
So, from reading to watching and hearing an enactment of that scene is hard.
I shed a tear towards the end of the movie. bukan nangis berabis. just shed a tear. LOLbut really ut was mostly becoz I was so emerse in that movie. argh! no wonder it become 2nd highest grossing Korean movie. thumbs up

I finally understand when people posted warnings before continue reading a post.

I felt a lump in my throat and my hear skipped a beat from the above. I'm sure others might be a lot more emotional and will be triggered easily.

Some still need to time to heal

I don't know if I am healed or apa, but like i once said, you can never get over a death of your love ones, you just learn to cope and move on.

1. finished reading Five Days Left (read most of the book on 3rd and 4th Mar, and finished the rest on 9th Mar) and boy that was tough! I kept catching my breath at some parts. I kept wondering if that was what went thru Jonghyun's head. Like, he kept having second thoughts but certain things happened and his decision became more resolute.
2. Life goes on.

I have nothing against him or Blingers or fellow Shawols

I'm just against everything is so easily connected to him nowadays

eg 1. His album sales was phenominal.
I'm not saying its bad, I'm actually glad.
but why can't his previous album be phenominal too? when he was alive? when he needed the assurance most??

2. His MV reached 2mil in less than 24hrs.
WHERE WERE YOU ALL MASA HIS PREVIOUS RELEASES?!
why now baru th interested and commenting You've worked hard, Oppa.
come on!

3. SM and maybe SHINee management too, decided to not sale Jonghyun related merchandises at SHINee World  Concert the Best From Now
to me, lurus bah. orang nya nada sudah, it wouldn't be right to be still getting profit/advantage like that.
some even commented "SM should make an exception"
*rolled eyes*
would you want me to sell merchandise of your love ones once they passed away and take all the profit from it.
Pahamilah.
I know this news is especially hard for Jonghyun bias.
but remember, his Poet | Artist album might not be out if it was not becoz of SM.
SM already make an exception thru that album. its the last goodbye.
not to mention whatever legal actions base on their decisions.
Kindly be more open and understandble, ok?

4. with this news about SHINee losing a member by suicide are overwhelming.
Key was right to post a request on his IG; to treat them as before, to give them support.
Yes, I am one of that Shawol who wanted to see OT5 ever since Onew's scandal.
but if we insisted to see OT5 when we all know that that is impossible now, we don't just hurt ourselves, we hurt the remaining member of SHINee too.
SHINee is now a 4 member-ed group.
that doesn't make them any less SHINee.
they are still SHINee.
and we need to continue supporting SHINee as we always have.
of course, right now, with extra compassion.


I don't know if I want to listen to live stream of the concert in Japan this weekend.
macam alum ku ready.
in my head, there will be a lot of moment where they might paused and a little lost coz they have the raw-est of feelings.

2. I was right to not stream the concert coz when I did, everyone was so emotional, SHINee and Shawols. I shed another tear.
3. I wish for them to take a year long break. to mourn. to grieve. to get everything together at their own phase. I know life goes on but I think they deserve that break.

I am only reading the difference between White Day and Valentine Day in Japan. where on V-day, Girls give Guys chocolate or things, while on White Day, Guys give Girls chocolate or things.

When in Japan (what version are we in now?)

as you know, last year I went to Japan and one of the places I visit was Tokyo Disneyland.

I only recently found out that Disneyland is the happiest place on earth.


I don't know about that.

Have you been to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studio Japan? *smirk*


But to be very honest, I was very happy.

Funny Story No. 1

After we purchased our tickets at the counter, we have to pass another gate, where the workers did a brief check inside your bag.
When it was my turn, this pakcik (really, he was an old man) took a quick glance inside my bag and said, "merci beaucoup" to which I automatically replied "merci" and got myself confused. Am I not in Japan? I'm pretty sure the uncle is Japanese too.



Funny Story No. 2

Me being obsess about getting Mr. Potatohead Popcorn Bucket.

I literally circled the ENTIRE Disneyland, stopping at every Popcorn Cart, looking for this MUST-HAVE popcorn bucket.
until at the end, I stopped at on popcorn cart and asked the worker "where *points at Dumbo popcorn bucket on their cart* Mr Potatohead?"
the lady said, "do you have map?"
with termendous relief I said, "Yes!"
and she told me go to the World Bazaar's Confectionery Store.
I went after saying 'thank you' in Japanese. coz I know how to say thank you in Japanese *lol*

Can you imagine how much time I could have saved if I asked in the first place??

When I get to the store, I was still lost. No Mr. Potatohead in sight.  but just as I was close to giving up and settled with buying a small Mrs. Potatohead figurine, I once again plug up the courage to ask the lady for the Mr. Potatohead Popcorn Bucket.
I don't know what happaned in between or what she said that made me go crazy. 
She said they have the Mr. Potatohead Popcorn Bucket and she left me qeueing for the cashier while she left for a back room, probably retrieving soon-to-be-mine popcorn bucket.
Again, I don't remember what happened, all I remember was being too excited and paid my item before running back to where I left si Bazilah to looked for the bucket. (yes, I left her at Tomorrowland to rest).

We went home soon  after that coz we were both very tired.

I know, left this blog for a while.
becoz, I haven't got the motivation to post.

Not that I have any now but I guess, lets just do it!

So,
I thought I share with you guys about my first ever love;

LONDON!

I think why 'loving London' is so embedded in me is becoz ever since EVER, London or UK has always been the it destination for success. It was what everyone talked about back then. 
Aunties would talk non-stop when their children flew there to continue their education, etc.

I wasn't one of them. not academically, at least.

I went to the UK in 2009 for two weeks.

I remember the talk I had with one of the tellers when I withdrew my money (via counter at that time) before belayar. He asked me why am I taking out so much money and I told him for my vacation. and he asked me where, I said UK and he said, "jauh jua vacation ani".
LOL
I find it funny now coz 
1. I don't think teller should be asking me why I'm withdrawing money from my OWN account.
2. mind your own business.

That was 8 years ago.

Nowadays, I'm not as obsess with UK as I was before.
I've opened my heart to other countries/places, the most current one being, Japan!

but that doesn't mean I don't love London still.

I mean, for example, with tudung, if I have to choose between London theme print with Paris theme print, I would, in a heartbeat, choose London theme. coz, I don't get Paris and her Eiffel Tower. #nohateplease#LOL

and more recently, I bought a new bag, which I love so much!
I feel like I've been looking for a new bag (bought a couple but to no satisfaction) and when I finally saw this bag, I'm just, "you are everything that I didn't know I was looking for" to put it a dramatic way.
hahahaha
but seriously!
that's how I feel with this new bag.

I mean, LOOK AT IT! ♥‿♥

So, on 7th February, I decided to dress surrounding my bag theme.

I wore dark blue with red/white square-dots print, a black with tiny white anchor print, and my London-associates-theme tudung.

accessories? my London-theme watch and my bag (of course).

Wore red lipstick coz red.

I bought this, days before I finally decided on buying my bag. hahaha my thoughts were "matching sama my future bag" hahaha I'm an obsessive person!

Unboxing Day

I collected my SHINee's Season's Greetings Calendar set yesterday from our local kpop dealer (mcm drug dealer hahaha), Yeszone. and the box is hugggeeeee!! like, equals to two F4 sizes.

In the beginning, when Yeszone announced that they open pre-orders for the SM's artists season's greetings, I wasn't excited about getting one coz I already missed 2016 punya version (I bought 2014 & 2015 previously).
But last minute and impulsive moment, I pre-ordered mine.

Let's get to the unboxing

First thing you saw when you open the lid.

this box comes with a Table calendar, Wall calendar (pictured above), Diary, Mini calendar and a mini Stand board. I think worth the price of BND70.

surprised that the copies are loose (not stapled together in the middle)

double as a poster

and I went, "Oh! patut loose. double as a poster panya"

ada some English infos (walaupun a few lines saja English nya o(╥﹏╥)o ) on the members which is always nice to see.

2. Table Calendar

Love the fact that January started off with leader Onew. <3 font="">

quite similar to the previous calendar I got; the entire page mostly covered with their photos and the dates are in smaller fonts. in all honesty, I hardly ever refer to this calendar to check the dates or such. *gelak*

3. Diary.

this one is similar to 2015 one. hard cover, book-like diary
2014 punya is ring binding.
2014 and 2017 have similar fine line inside. 

easier for me to turn it into normal one-lined journal (づ｡◕‿‿◕｡)づ

4. Mini calendar 

basically a postcard photo collection. 2015 pun have similar like this one. \m/(>.<)\m/


5. Mini board stand (New features)

I got Minho. I, of course, would have love it more if aku dapat cOnew's.

You noticed how the photos are repetitive. similar to the previous released. at least from the 2014 & 2015 lah ah. I can't say about 2016 coz I missed that one.
