Netflix, yes, I subscribed.

Umm..I don't know. So far, I've only been watching Studio Ghibli and Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures. LOL

masa awal2 I was like, "yassss I can watch The Last Tsar" but 2 episodes in and I found out they ate almost 20gb of 80gb of my monthly phone data. Like, FUCCCCKKKKKKK. no, I don't have home wifi. it was only 10 days after my monthly data reset date. So, from then on, I learned to download what I want to watch first instead of streaming. 

So far:

I have finished Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures season 1 & 2. I haven't started on Season 3. coz I'm giving it a break. It was a good show. reminds me of Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse. except, Barbie is a teenager now. but the sisters have not age a day. 🤔

I watched Korean Historical Drama (a genre that is somewhat the rage on Netflix btw. Like, tau ya ramai peminat korean drama di dunia ani LOL) The Emperor Owner of the Mask. 20 episodes. Good but the Crowned Clown is better. 

the anime movies I have watched, as mentioned in my previous post, were all watched via Netflix too. Currently, I have downloaded four more titles: Tales from Earthsea, Princess Mononoke, Whisper of the Heart, and The tale of the Princess Kaguya. but balum ada hati kan sit down and watch. Yes, kalau kan liat any movie / TV show, mesti ikut hati dan perasaan.

I tried to watch The Royal Gambler, pasal ada c Yeo Jin-goo AND actually already downloaded sampai episode 12 out of 24 BUT by episode 5, I wasn't feeling it. Like, nyeh. So, I discarded them allllllll.

Now, I've been downloading A Series of unfortunate Events. it has 3 seasons. I have downloaded season 1 and 4 episodes from season 2. I will try and watch them tomorrow. internet super awesome at the moment. thus, the slowness in downloading is inenvitable.

I'm sure there are a lot more things to watch on Netflix but once you select your preferences, that was all the genre Netflix will promote to you. 

This month would be my second month subscribed to Netflix. but at the rate I'm going, I don't think it'd be worth it for me to continue to be subscribed. I don't know. we'll see. 

Aku kan subscribed to DisneyPlus plang ni next. hahaha just so I can watch old shows. BUTT kan, for example, Hannah Montana, you can actually watch this on youtube for free. maybe not the entire series but you'd still be satisfied with the amount of videos you'd be able to watch.
Currently, I am watching Totally Spies on youtube. yeah there are missing episodes but I'm happy with the ones they decided to share on that free platform.

Selamat Hari Raya

hi guys,

quick update on the blogspot-not-loading thingy: I confirmed that it's my internet connection. Coz, yesterday, when I wanted to update my blog, it refused to load the page. and today, it was ok again. Sooooo...current-internet-provider, bye!

onto the our topic; Selamat Hari Raya!! 

a little too late coz it's already the third week of Raya? i think? All I know is, our house already cleaned of any Hari Raya trace. wawawa

This year's Raya is a bit sad coz my baju raya arrived late. 

📣📣 STORY TIMEEEEEE 📣📣

I decided this year that I'm going with the ready-made saja, coz you know, I don't have to paning2 pikir design apa mau buat. 
I purchased from Zalora.com on 17th May, received ordered at around 10am on 22nd May, I did quick fittings and they were all too big (I ordered XXL and, rupanya, I'm not size XXL LOL!), went to Zalora.com app to request exchange at around 11ish am, and quickly went to a specific courier service for drop off at around 1ish pm, THAT VERY SAME DAY 22nd MAY! 
I only received respond from Zalora.com that 11ish am, them acknowledging my request.
I was panicking when I didn't received any respond by 30th May; they said request would take at least 3 days to be processed, and I was giving them grace period of 8 DAYS! 
but of course, I was being understanding, you know, festive traffic and all that cheese.
Finally received an email from zalora.com on 2nd Jun, they just received my returned package. and I was like, "what the actual fuck?" I sent 22nd May and you received 2nd Jun? what?!
on 3rd Jun zalora.com sent another email to me saying my items are on their way.
🙄
by now, I was already so done.
I actually went to SF Express (that specific courier service) on the 4th Jun, to try my luck, to at least ask. coz I've been trying to call them since 3rd Jun but their phone rang a few times and after that, cut off. like, what even? but when I arrived at their office, they already closed. 
I tried again on the 5th Jun but still no one answering the phone. I got pissed and didn't bother stressing anymore.
Raya fell on 6th Jun in Brunei, so sis redha and pakai baju lama sja beraya. 😭

It was a long holiday here in Brunei for Hari Raya, we were given 3 days public holidays, obviously, I didn't want to pressure SF Express and just waited till 10th Jun.
10th Jun arrived and I actually logged onto my Zalora account and found out that my parcel already arrived in Brunei on 3rd Jun 8ish pm. 

like, why didn't I check this thing earlier? LOL my baddd~~

So, I went to SF Express, they were opened, I showed the guy at the collection counter the screenshot I took, and he was actually too calm for my liking.
He checked on his computer and tried to tell me what I already know ("oh, we received the item on 3rd June malam and we-") and I just ✋.
I was surprised at how calm I was when I raise my hand like ✋, stopping him and said, smiling, "can I collect now?" to which he replied, "yes, you can collect today. just give me some time to find your package". I smiled, "thank you". MY CUSTOMER SERVICE ASS AT WORK BITCHES!
I don't think I waited long, maybe 5 minutes top, and I received my package! I quickly left before my anger raise from the depth of my guts.

Now, let me tell you why I need to rant:

*clears throat

1. I understand that it was Hari Raya season and it was hectic closer to the date, the least they can do is give customer a call if they couldn't deliver them to their doorstep. I mean, yeah, maybe ada customer yang being fussy as fuck about that but I'm sure I'm not the only one yang willing to collect my items on my own COZ IT'S MY BAJU RAYA DAMMIT!
2. that guy at the counter. THE 👏 AU 👏 DA 👏 CI 👏TY 👏! dude, my parcel arrived on 3rd Jun, 7 days later, here I am in front of you, already in the 5th day of Raya wearing old baju, SF Express didn't even bother to give me a call that you've been keeping my items/package for 6-7 days, AND YOU WANT TO GIVE ME EXCUSES AS TO WHY THIS IS HAPPENING? boy ✋, stand up, and quickly get my package before I blow that place up.

*exhale heavily

I know, ada lagi urang yang lebih susah dari aku, I should be grateful I still have decent baju to wear on Hari Raya.

What I learned from this?

• lain kali, order awal lagi sikit if it's for Raya
• supaya dapat exchange far more quickly
• or, check size measurement banar2. last year I ordered from a brand Zalia and the size XL was too fit on me. This year I ordered from brand Lubna, and thought I should order XXL so it'd be a little loose but damn! Different brand has different measurement. So, check that section thoroughly
• Zalora.com still deliver fast to Brunei, within 3-5 working days. I think it's just the exchange that took forever. or maybe it's just during Hari Raya. I have never exchange anything for the last 5-6 times purchasing from them. So, I wasn't aware of that process. and I chose Hari Raya to test that process. Brilliant.
• I almost menyamal but I have 2 items in my basket right at this moment. LOL~!

anyway,

my anger subsides when I returned to work on the 12th Jun and asked Faizah to take my OOTD. wawawa

first two was taken by Faizah, the third obviously not. No idea when the official OOTD with that baju will be done. maybe this coming Friday. it will be up on my IG when done. 😉

hows your Hari Raya so far? I hope better than mine. Mine wasn't bad, I just, lazy. LOL I have other things to focus on 😉

I fell in love with the chicken bucket at first sight. LOL

and I fell in love with the design/idea behind the art! When i first check her account, she mostly made Onew's, which made me so happy!
I don't know about you but for some reason it was hard for me to find Onew's fanmade goodies anywhere! I mean goodies that I want to purchase anyway. or can afford. ⊂•⊃_⊂•⊃
That is why, when I saw her post, I ask how can i order straight away and was relief it was quite easy transaction. I mean, easy as in, not so much hassle. LOL I shall explain that anxiety ridden some other time.

After sleeping on it, I finally decided to blow up my wallet and ordered these!

it took about 2 weeks to arrive. 

but with one defected item: the phone case. I ordered for iphone6plus but the one yg arrived was for iphone6.

I was a tat bit disappointed and like I often do, I initially decided to just let it go. it was just a phone case. 
BUT it was one of the thing I really looking forward to having! and use!
So, I woman up and DM-ed the owner.

I informed her my items safely arrived and thank her for her hard work (aseh! so k-pop-ish text! LOL) "but," I began. and continued telling her about the phone case. 
and you know what? she was quite sweet about it. She apologized saying it must be some mixed up. She even asked if it's just not fitting with my phone or if it's for iphone6. 
I kinda made a face when she asked this but of course, she was just trying to do her job, and asked if I want a refund.
I made some more faces.
I told her I would love if she could resend a correct one instead?

I was actually scared that she would say 'no' or asked me to pay some more for shipping. But I come to my senses that as a customer, I think I have the right to ask her to send me the correct phone case.

Luckily for me, she's a good seller and she agreed to send me the correct phone case and not to worry about it.
Of course, I excessively thank her for her prompt respond.

Honestly, I was not worried. I was just sad that I couldn't use the phone case sooner.
LOL

but the correct phone case finally arrived! like, a month later. but what can you do. 

I LOVE ALL OF THEM!

She included a sticker set in the first shipment and also a pin button of Onew's Eyes On You. who doesn't like free gifts?! 
I especially love the bunny ears sticker she put on every box and bubble wrapper. So, Onew!

Since my purchased, she continued on doing some more fanmade items of the other members too. I planned on buying some more from her. not now. nanti lah.

So go check her IG out. see if there's anything you like. and if you do purchased something, tell her Vengeance sent you. LOL

Unboxing Day

Ssuuupppp!

I collected my SHINee's Season's Greetings Calendar set yesterday from our local kpop dealer (mcm drug dealer hahaha), Yeszone. and the box is hugggeeeee!! like, equals to two F4 sizes.

In the beginning, when Yeszone announced that they open pre-orders for the SM's artists season's greetings, I wasn't excited about getting one coz I already missed 2016 punya version (I bought 2014 & 2015 previously).
But last minute and impulsive moment, I pre-ordered mine.

Let's get to the unboxing

First thing you saw when you open the lid.

this box comes with a Table calendar, Wall calendar (pictured above), Diary, Mini calendar and a mini Stand board. I think worth the price of BND70.

surprised that the copies are loose (not stapled together in the middle)

double as a poster

and I went, "Oh! patut loose. double as a poster panya"

ada some English infos (walaupun a few lines saja English nya o(╥﹏╥)o ) on the members which is always nice to see.

2. Table Calendar

Love the fact that January started off with leader Onew. <3 font="">

quite similar to the previous calendar I got; the entire page mostly covered with their photos and the dates are in smaller fonts. in all honesty, I hardly ever refer to this calendar to check the dates or such. *gelak*

3. Diary.

this one is similar to 2015 one. hard cover, book-like diary
2014 punya is ring binding.
2014 and 2017 have similar fine line inside. 

easier for me to turn it into normal one-lined journal (づ｡◕‿‿◕｡)づ

4. Mini calendar 

basically a postcard photo collection. 2015 pun have similar like this one. \m/(>.<)\m/


5. Mini board stand (New features)

I got Minho. I, of course, would have love it more if aku dapat cOnew's.

You noticed how the photos are repetitive. similar to the previous released. at least from the 2014 & 2015 lah ah. I can't say about 2016 coz I missed that one.

Struggle

I was trying to watch God of Egypt online.
it's a two hour movie.
I started at around 9pm and by 1:51am later, the movie is still not finish.





SERIOUSLY!

I can't really enjoy the movie with all the pausing and waiting.

I finally understand why this movie didn't 'air' in Brunei. 
also, the 'Beast' kurang labih usulnya dengan usul Sea of Monster from Percy Jackson.
the story was supposed to be the beginning of Egypt before the Pharoahs, so the story-line was interesting. 
I know the Egypt was considered awesome engineers but dalam this movie, the graphics were, mcm, telampau 'forward'. almost futuristic even. Still awesome plang. 

but like I said, I wasn't enjoying the movie much, so, A for effort.

and thank you internet for being the awesome-est.
a two hour movie became a five hour movie. 
fantastic.

my phone been asking me to update so many applications this past few days that it annoys me. Ծ_Ծ

You know I've been waching Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse, right? 
Well, there's this one episode where Teresa went 'Diva' during Raquelle's half birthday and I thought, "When is my half birthday?" 
If my math is correct, my half birthday would be in March!
and here I am browsing bookdepository.com (well, not really now, since I'm composing this post. but you know, in between composing and last night, this morning at the office, etc. you get the point), furiously clicking the Add To Basket button. So far I am up to 11 (ELEVEN!) books to buy myself as my half birthday present (▰˘◡˘▰)
I know 'half birthday' isn't a real thing but it's fun and exciting when you think about buying yourselves a birthday present!

I always said that I'm not very creative but when something like this happened, I believed again.

you are perfect just the way you are. Don't ever change. I mean, change for the better ok lah. Just don't change who you are just to make other people happy. Coz, you are other people too, and you deserve to be happy.

Song Joong Ki is my new future husband!
can you believe that a few weeks ago I kept going on and on about how I can't wait to watch DOTS because cOnew in it? and that I don't even know what the two main characters' story was all about?
Well, that 'feel' is gone.
Onew's charater; ChiHun is some what a rich kid who became a doctor, has a wife and baby on the way. from Episode 7 (Brunei time. coz in Korea, tonight is already Episode 9), ChiHun family is actually pretty rich; financed/invested in the military communication satelite, owns the land that hospital stands on. . . . anyway! as much as I love SHINee Leader Onew 입니다 , I'm just so in love with how sweet and cute ShiJin (JoongKi's character) expressions are when he's with Dr. Kang (HyeKyo's character).

My love for Onew will resume when this drama ended. Don't worry.

I miss UK

and I can't post any of my pictures from that trip online anymore.

coz I was not wearing tudung or Hijab back then. ('cool' people of Brunei been calling 'tudung' hijab these days. i think it's just fake. . i will make this argument some other time) 

anyway

I thought about going back but I thought to myself,
"I've been to the UK once, why not spend money to visit other country?"
That's why I pick Japan as my next place to travel to. but that trip is not until September. So..

Last January, I bought a handmade handbag from 'Great Britain'. 
just to show how much i love the UK.


weak excuse, I know. but i really want it!

Story time;
I first saw this bag from a friend who posted it on Instagram. 
what caught me was that it had my friend's name embossed on it. I thought, "that's nice"
The next time I saw such bag was when I was at the Mall. the embossing of a name on someone's bag caught my eyes. once again i thought, "bisai jua ah"
and since then, I want it too. because I'm that Asian whose name is hardly ever on a pre-embossed name on anything and this personalize embossing thing is my thing!

After sometimes, I came across this page on instagram with same type of bags with personalize embossing thing. the company is called, The Cambridge Satchel Company.
I don't know how long I've been following them (and the agony to endure the pain of seeing their precious bags and not being able to purchase them yet!) it must've been a year or something. it was too long!

When I finally decided to buy the bag, it took me one whole week just X-ing the check out page and 'sleep on it'.

One week had passed and Thursday came and finally I bought the bag (during office hour coz I is Management. I do what I want muahahaha). I was anxious for the entire transaction. i received email indicating they have received my order and will process it within 3 days. but the next day, Friday, I received another email saying that my bag is on its way. and that I'll receive it Tuesday the next week.

by Tuesday morning, I did received a call from the local Fedex company saying my parcel had arrived and that they couldn't deliver it to my house (for whatever reason. i think coz to my house, it was not an easy access *muka confuse berabis*). Excited as I was, i told the person to just deliver it to my office.
i waited all day for it but the fedex guy never came and i was really disappointed! coz Fedex is supposed to be super fast! and the fact that I shopped at Zalora.com the previous week and already received my parcels exactly four days after that as promised, disappoint me more.

I was told, "sabar sja. maybe isuk durang antar" So, bersabar i did.

The next morning, finally the fedex guy came with my parcel and i was so happy that I couldn't even hide my grin! 


I opened it during my lunch break, in my car. taking pictures and just ... very excited.






it's actually very simple and classic looking.



the one yg I bought is actually pretty small for my standard of bags (coz I usually bought huge bags that can fit just about everything..)



but the color is nice! (i think it was called tea rose)
and it has my name on it!
at first I wanted to put 'AZ' but my sister has the same first name (yes, 'Az' is my first name. Second is 'Nuur' and third is 'Ajeerah') and I didn't want her to claim it. 


hahaha it's a joke we both had since forever. will tell you on the future blog entries (kalau ku ingat jua tu LOL)

all in all. it was an awesome feeling. like receiving a present. from me. to me.



and now,
I don't have to miss UK any more.
at least, not so much.

Posters

So, I went online shopping last Sunday morning.

the website was having sales and I don't want to miss out the opportunity (especially when I have to pay for the shipment. normally, on ebay, I only search for things with free shipment :P).

moving to a new house made me think a lot about making that 'tiny library' of mine to become a reality.
and I want to put some posters around it. on it. beside it. I haven't quite decided where I want to put them yet. the posters are only 8x10 each, not that big but enough for my small library. xD

Harry Potter and So much More~

and I've been obsessing over Duelling Club for an entire week. ESPECIALLY when I found out I can play it on my phone too.

I know, why obsessing, right?

Because I finally contribute something to win the House Cup this year!

to date, I've earned 1000 house points (while some actually earned hundred thousands something house points up to this point).

I'm in Hufflepuff btw, in case people didn't know. or in case I didn't mention it here. hehe

There's another way to earn house points; Potion Class.

to be honest, I suck. and also internet connection plays a big part. Since, mine is 'awesome', i failed at every practice I did.
So, I moved on and decided that I'm just gona duel.

It's so easy.

this also depends on the internet connection. if the internet froze, even if you finished your spell, you could still read 'zero'. -.- happened to me a few times. very frustrating.

but, it became addictive and I like being addicted to something. MUAHAHAH

what? at least it's not drugs. *dismiss your negativity*
