Believe me, when I first started to get invested with NCT...hmm🤔 I was gonna said hard BUT it really is not. coz I have known this group since SMRookies. Yeah, I miss a few or 15 members debut but I'm aware of their existent. the beauty of IG explore page is that you received information about something that you'll never know you'll need and that is how I gradually understanding NCT concept.

back to WayV!

7 members: Ten (NCT U, SuperM), Winwin (NCT U, NCT127), Lucas (NCT U, SuperM), Kun (NCT2018), Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang.

My first mini album of WayV is their second, Take Over The Moon. Title song: Moonwalk. Fav song: We Go Nanana. Bias: undecided but its between Kun and Xiaojun.

When they announced that WayV will be coming out with their first full album, I actually was looking forward to it.

as Wiki said, album was released on 9th June. there were actually a few hours delay on the MV released. but no matter, it came out eventually.

I don't know if I ever mention this recently but I've always been skeptic of music video of a new song. I need to not watch the MV when trying to decide if the song is good or not. So, downloading the album I go.

anddd it was a good song, Turn Back Time is.

I was surprised at how I have 4 new favorites from it; Electric Heart, Domino, Bad Alive, and Turn Back Time. 

Not that the other songs are not good, I can listen to it if I wanted to. It's just, to me, favorite songs are when they come on and you didn't press Next. hashtag who can relate?

Turn Back Time, Korean version was just released on 18th June. I was so used to the original version by then.

Overall, a good album! 10/10 recommend!

Side note:

within the fandom, a hardcore wzennies are offended how czennies said that they supported the entirety of NCT but hardly show the same effort (in streaming and voting) towards WayV.

but I am no longer affected by these types of comment, stream/vote:

1. I hardly do any of that even with SHINee, what makes you so special, girlie? 
2. I bought the album and I think that is enough of an effort from me. 

I know, stream/vote counts are important for kpop but really, if you can do it and some of your friends can make time for that, great! I'll cheer you on. 

BUT the other some of us, we kinda have a life outside the net? albeit, I be on my phone, scrolling thru IG for an hour, but that doesn't mean I can stream at the same time? 

You just do you boo without calling people out. If you can, go ahead. If others can't, don't be so hard on them. 

to those others, If you find yourself reading negative comments, X out, slide left, and move on.

Be like me, and not bother.

honestly tho, even with SHINee, I only do the bare minimum and SHINee still win awards, made concerts overseas with thousands of attendees, and all without my hardcore support. the best International fans can do is buy physical albums and official merchandises. I feel like that went into their profits much faster. I could be wrong 🤷🏻

Errors! and it became a rant.

Ok, before we carry on talking about WayV full album comeback (next post), I just wanna say, The New Blogger board is confusing. I am not so high-tech for that kind of changes, so I revert to the old one. 

my Park Chanyeol post was published 3 times before I realized there were errors on it. my fourth try was when I revert to the old board and finally posting like normal. like what even! 

My problems were:-

Labels: I can't figure out how to add on from my existing labels.

Schedule time and date of a post: erm..I chose my time and date (this one is for my Bag post) but when I clicked 'Publish' it became a draft. 

with the old board, if I clicked Publish, the post will marked as Scheduled.

so, what gives?

Youtube video share: again, Park Chanyeol post. I used Embedded as always but why the codes are published instead of the videos? why?

Yes, ranting a little bit here. I know, unnecessary. 

I've been followed by strange accounts on Instagram (pilots and male), I received email saying i request to reset password which I didn't, ended up resetting my password anyways as advised, and my heart almost stopped when I try logging in and my feed was like empty but turned out, it was just bad connection!

It's been crazy! this happened during my 1.5 days leave from work after 3 months of no leave allowed (coz we on split team, meaning both sites had limited staff working. that I will try and rant on another post). You would think, crazy things happened before the leave! No~ it gotta happened when my brain tried to relax!

Anyway,

I revert to the old board and is now posting like usual. maybe later I will youtube on how to use the new one. someone must've shared something on that changes.

I love bags! not necessarily branded ones, coz if I could find a cheaper copy of it, i would just buy. coz money don't grow on trees. unfortunately.

and recently, a friend posted on her IG Story of this bag that I find very lawa..like, the shape is soooo my style! 

BUT sadly, its by a brand that I no longer support!

argh. why

I even went on a mini discussion about the bag with said friend, all the while thinking "but I no longer support this brand". I feel ashamed when I said to her "we might have matchy bag soon!" her respond to me that made me guilty? she shared with me discount codes from some local influencers. 😖 I am sorry girlie. I lied. She was excited too. aww bless her precious heart.

I mean, I'm not saying never. I'm still sleeping on it. I mean, I have been for a week. lol. but I can't go back to my words. my sister even said the pricing is decent. for an indie brand. well, they're not really indie, but you know, not Gucci or LV. so, I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️.

My bestie on the other hand, "If you buy that bag, find new friend" LOL coz he's not supporting for a different reason from mine. 

For backstory purposes, I never was a hard core supporter before. I only ever own two items from this brand, a tudung and scarf bag. but atu pun because the brand collaborated with our Crown Princess, Princess Sarah. Honestly, if it weren't for that collab, I don't think I would ever buy anything from them, coz its just a head scarf and it cost astronomical? and when they released that collab, I just had my bonus paid out, and I thought, why not? the dumbest purchase ever to be very honest. LOL I only ever used it twice! DUA. KALI. SAHAJA. pasal apa nah? the material was so flimsy that certain areas are ruined due to the pins/clips used on it. I mean, I don't know how you gonna keep your tudung stay in place without the pins/clips. So, yeah. that tudung is now in its box. collecting dust.

Why I am not supporting this brand anymore? this one kinda, personal. She was releasing her own brand of telekung (head scarfs and skirt you use during prayer) and I don't know the full story to be honest but I saw her post on my explore page where she judge people who sell a knock off version of that telekung (apparently her brand is so popular that they got copied to a more affordable price for other people who can't afford the overprice telekung). I understand you were upset that people are technically stealing from you, butt..

She brought up dosa pahala di sana atu and you know how I feel about people who talked like its their job to collect peoples deeds. Like, I can do the same about you sis but I'm gonna keep that to myself. It really was becoz of that one post that I stop admiring her collections and ultimately stop supporting?

one time I went to her shop, dangani my cousin who wanted to buy something, back in 2018, and saw her stationery collections. I, avid fanatics' of stationery that I am, gotta have a look at them, and was surprise at how similar looking the stapler was with Typo's, an Aussie brand (I think its Aussie brand)? like, did you buy from them and slapped your brand on it? why? the price was a lot more expensive than Typo's too. why?

Yeah, I am torn. I still stand by what I said about why I stop 'supporting'. but why bag so lawa and my style?! whyyy

Now, I might have to buy the other bag that I've been wanting since last year but never got the chance to purchase yet, coz price.

This friend is also sooo precious! we talked at a length about the bag and once again, I was encouraged to buy. but when I found out the price, I was like, err..maybe not now? LOL 

I mean, I could splurge but at that time I was like, "I should use this money for travelling overseas" lol

but after the above situation, I think, I'm better off buying Fossil? coz brand reputation and ranks? I'm not sure anymore.

WHY BAGS HAVE TO BE BRANDED AND EXPENSIVE?!

Ok lah. I did buy 3 known brands, MK, Longchamp, and that Anello backpack. MK's my most expensive I've ever owned and still in mean condition after 4 years? my Longchamp a little battered coz I used this bag when I travel a lot. my Anello backpack is a little new and only been used for travel once.

The rest of my bags? cheap cheap only. Ok, my Harry Potter bags are not cheap. the shipping cost alone is crazy but I'm also a crazy person for HP merchandise so..

I guess quality over quantity? and to have better quality, we gotta pay more?

This post went from 'Not supporting this brand but I want the bag' to 'but the one I wanted for so long is expensive tho' real quick. LOL

sigh.

In conclusion,

I won't go back on my words. earlier brand's bag cost BND130. If I save up some more, I'd be able to buy the Fossil's Rachel Satchels.

So, yeah..as lawa the bag is, as guilty I am towards my lovely friend, I just can't.

I mean, I could just buy and not care what other people think of my fickle conflicted decision/opinion but I wouldn't be able forgive myself for going back on my words over a BAG!

anyway, Park Chanyeol is EXO rapper, vocalist, and tall man. I don't know. all I know is he has nice voice and on variety shows, he funny.

The IG post that I came across was a comment by someone about how Chanyeol maybe a rapper, but he also has such a nice voice for normal singing. (coz I feel like rapping is just singing fast lol don't come at me).

which I totally agree.

I've always been a fan of EXO from the beginning (SM bias and all), maybe I never went full on EXO-L, but honestly, I've always been listening to their songs since the beginning. Yes, I have my bias, or biases, but they chances all the time. but Chen aka Jongdae is always in that top 3.

back to their songs, I'm the type to download an entire album when they were released just so I can add to my collections of songs and maybe find a new favorite other than the title track. 

When I was reading that IG post, I was like, yeah~ a couple of songs that I came to like and become a favorite are all thanks to Chanyeol voice! Both his raps and his singing. seriously!

I mean, when either songs started, honestly, I would skipped. LOL the only reason I came to like them is becoz I happened to listen to them as I was drifting off to sleep. For some reason, at that point in time, my brain was like, "this is actually such a good song!" and they become a favorite the next day onwards. 

for Jekyll, the part that got me was, "I..shut you down!" and as I'm listening to it as I'm preparing this, I just went 'huh..atu saja?' and I told myself I'm hard to impress? but Chanyeol just said "shut you down!" and I'm sold? what?! hahaha

I have more justification with Sweet Lies. that entire rap part with Sehun, yes. Definitely impressive. I went from not knowing the song exist (for some reason I skipped Power period, and Sweet Lies came with Power) to THIS IS FIRE!! 🔥🔥🔥

In conclusion, a single line in a song can change someone's opinion of that song especially when you were in drowsy state.

Oh. so. ever since Sweet Lies, I became more aware of Chanyeol's part in a song. With that, we should include Obsession, EXO's latest released.

I wanted to watch becoz it's Thor and the Valkyrie lady.

Not giving out spoiler like I did with Aladdin but Aladdin wasn't so much of a spoiler since it was a remake...so, I don't know where I'm going with that. hahaha

anyhoo... 6.7/10. becoz I feel like the storyline was short and somewhat rushed. THE COMEDY THO! funny as fuck. not all the time but most of the time. I enjoyed their comedy most. 

I wanna say something but then I realized that could be a spoiler. soooo..I'm just gonna leave the trailer here.

quick update on the blogspot-not-loading thingy: I confirmed that it's my internet connection. Coz, yesterday, when I wanted to update my blog, it refused to load the page. and today, it was ok again. Sooooo...current-internet-provider, bye!

onto the our topic; Selamat Hari Raya!! 

a little too late coz it's already the third week of Raya? i think? All I know is, our house already cleaned of any Hari Raya trace. wawawa

This year's Raya is a bit sad coz my baju raya arrived late. 

📣📣 STORY TIMEEEEEE 📣📣

I decided this year that I'm going with the ready-made saja, coz you know, I don't have to paning2 pikir design apa mau buat. 
I purchased from Zalora.com on 17th May, received ordered at around 10am on 22nd May, I did quick fittings and they were all too big (I ordered XXL and, rupanya, I'm not size XXL LOL!), went to Zalora.com app to request exchange at around 11ish am, and quickly went to a specific courier service for drop off at around 1ish pm, THAT VERY SAME DAY 22nd MAY! 
I only received respond from Zalora.com that 11ish am, them acknowledging my request.
I was panicking when I didn't received any respond by 30th May; they said request would take at least 3 days to be processed, and I was giving them grace period of 8 DAYS! 
but of course, I was being understanding, you know, festive traffic and all that cheese.
Finally received an email from zalora.com on 2nd Jun, they just received my returned package. and I was like, "what the actual fuck?" I sent 22nd May and you received 2nd Jun? what?!
on 3rd Jun zalora.com sent another email to me saying my items are on their way.

by now, I was already so done.
I actually went to SF Express (that specific courier service) on the 4th Jun, to try my luck, to at least ask. coz I've been trying to call them since 3rd Jun but their phone rang a few times and after that, cut off. like, what even? but when I arrived at their office, they already closed. 
I tried again on the 5th Jun but still no one answering the phone. I got pissed and didn't bother stressing anymore.
Raya fell on 6th Jun in Brunei, so sis redha and pakai baju lama sja beraya. 😭

It was a long holiday here in Brunei for Hari Raya, we were given 3 days public holidays, obviously, I didn't want to pressure SF Express and just waited till 10th Jun.
10th Jun arrived and I actually logged onto my Zalora account and found out that my parcel already arrived in Brunei on 3rd Jun 8ish pm. 

like, why didn't I check this thing earlier? LOL my baddd~~

So, I went to SF Express, they were opened, I showed the guy at the collection counter the screenshot I took, and he was actually too calm for my liking.
He checked on his computer and tried to tell me what I already know ("oh, we received the item on 3rd June malam and we-") and I just ✋.
I was surprised at how calm I was when I raise my hand like ✋, stopping him and said, smiling, "can I collect now?" to which he replied, "yes, you can collect today. just give me some time to find your package". I smiled, "thank you". MY CUSTOMER SERVICE ASS AT WORK BITCHES!
I don't think I waited long, maybe 5 minutes top, and I received my package! I quickly left before my anger raise from the depth of my guts.

Now, let me tell you why I need to rant:

*clears throat

1. I understand that it was Hari Raya season and it was hectic closer to the date, the least they can do is give customer a call if they couldn't deliver them to their doorstep. I mean, yeah, maybe ada customer yang being fussy as fuck about that but I'm sure I'm not the only one yang willing to collect my items on my own COZ IT'S MY BAJU RAYA DAMMIT!
2. that guy at the counter. THE 👏 AU 👏 DA 👏 CI 👏TY 👏! dude, my parcel arrived on 3rd Jun, 7 days later, here I am in front of you, already in the 5th day of Raya wearing old baju, SF Express didn't even bother to give me a call that you've been keeping my items/package for 6-7 days, AND YOU WANT TO GIVE ME EXCUSES AS TO WHY THIS IS HAPPENING? boy ✋, stand up, and quickly get my package before I blow that place up.

*exhale heavily

I know, ada lagi urang yang lebih susah dari aku, I should be grateful I still have decent baju to wear on Hari Raya.

What I learned from this?

• lain kali, order awal lagi sikit if it's for Raya
• supaya dapat exchange far more quickly
• or, check size measurement banar2. last year I ordered from a brand Zalia and the size XL was too fit on me. This year I ordered from brand Lubna, and thought I should order XXL so it'd be a little loose but damn! Different brand has different measurement. So, check that section thoroughly
• Zalora.com still deliver fast to Brunei, within 3-5 working days. I think it's just the exchange that took forever. or maybe it's just during Hari Raya. I have never exchange anything for the last 5-6 times purchasing from them. So, I wasn't aware of that process. and I chose Hari Raya to test that process. Brilliant.
• I almost menyamal but I have 2 items in my basket right at this moment. LOL~!

anyway,

my anger subsides when I returned to work on the 12th Jun and asked Faizah to take my OOTD. wawawa

first two was taken by Faizah, the third obviously not. No idea when the official OOTD with that baju will be done. maybe this coming Friday. it will be up on my IG when done. 😉

hows your Hari Raya so far? I hope better than mine. Mine wasn't bad, I just, lazy. LOL I have other things to focus on 😉

Hello everyone and anyone.

I know, I abandoned this page for so long.

I even almost not come back at all. 

but here I am.

I really don't know why I should continue to be here. It's not like my life depended on it.

I guess I'm just not ready to part ways from this part of my old life.


Blogging had been my life since forever. I think I started when I was 15? Back when Friendster was a thing. LOL Friendster had a blog feature where your friends got notification whenever you posted something and when I finally switched to Blogspot, none of my readers came along with me. 

it demotivated me a little bit but I still continued to post. soon after, friends started making their own blog and we shared/exchanged stories and comments.

As we grew as an individual, I guess people grew out of blogging too. Except me. I'm still here, as if holding up the fort.

more years passed and I mentioned a lot in my posts on how me too no longer 'feeling it'.

I turned 31 last year. I'll be 32 this year. For some reason, that hit me hard.

at first, I thought it was becoz I thought I lagged behind everybody. Thirty One years Old and still the same old me; achieving only in growing old, stuck in the same old routine year after year.

You would think, someone who read a lot like myself wouldn't have such negative thoughts. 
You thought wrong.
I used to tell people how I'm a self-motivated person. I began believing in it too. 
Until I realized how tiring that ish was (still is).
Your mind is spent and your heart is heavy, do you have any idea how hard it is to stay motivated/positive during that phase?
I also used to think that I was strong mentally and physically.
boy, was I mistaken. LOL
Well, maybe I am strong both mentally and physically or I wouldn't be here talking about this right now.

Realizing all this and accepting that my life has come to this, I decided to let go on a lot of things.

They say it's never too late to push reset and start over.

So, for the past six months I've been working on my well being;
1. Me is enough
2. Me matter
3. I can't change the world overnight. so chill.
4. Stop worrying about what others think of me.
5. Control my emotion especially at work (coz GOD know I have a problem in that ish place LOL)
6. my self improvement is important.

And something happened on my 7th month.

I've worked hard for this mindset and soul to be at peace and for me to fall back into the me from 6 months ago is such a waste of time. 
To fall back to the same routine/dark-mindset all over again? I don't have the capacity in my mind and in my soul for such burden anymore.
I used to think "let's just follow the flow" but I don't want to be that easy anymore.
I wanna work hard towards a new goal in life. Especially with my life. I'm important too. 
I have the obligation to better myself before I can worry about other people.

I really don't want to go back to 6 months ago. I can't and I refuse. I am only going to focus on moving forward.


Wow! I was so deep back in March. LOL wow.
I surprise myself too most of the time. Every time I read back my old thoughts, I'm impressed on how well I write/type. HAHAHAH and now back to the present.

Like, I said, the above is filtered for 'tayangan umum'. There were two more pages of thoughts but I don't think it's quite relevant for today's title.

I don't think I planned that post as a New Year Resolution coz I hate that term: 'Resolution'. who started that ish? I think i just want to say that I'm trying to change my life routine and be selfish for once. obviously old habit die hard; I can't just be completely selfish. but I'm gonna try.

Skin Care update

this post is long overdue. I've tried and failed posting this for 3 times before.

Skin Care Update.

Skin care. my most pet peeve EVER.
I mean I did try to use them earlier, buying a set of skin care products from Skin Food, but I remember only ended up using the face wash (Cucumber) and Toner (Peach) only. LOL like, that was as far as my skin care goes back then.

I only started having proper skin care routine (meaning, other than washing my face with sabun muka), maybe, in 2016? Using facial wash, toner, and essence. I don't know how but I went for the Face Shop skin care set. I made a post on this here if you missed it. Reading that post made me realize how bad I want my face to be flawless when in all actuality, my face just not become flawless. 
here's an update:

• the three sets of toner/essence/serum I used in that post actually didn't make major changes to my skin.
• Yehwadam Snow Lotus Pearl Capsule Cream and Yves Roches Serum for Wrinkles and Firmness - not suitable for my skin. no matter how little I put on my skin, they caused very stressful break out.
• Face Masks - I can only use certain face masks. if I'm not careful, they will caused that tiny white heads bump and I will stress out about it.

Realizing that The Face Shop products were not for me, I went and look for other (Korean) products. Read here for a couple of products I did some research on. 

here's the updates on that:

• Son & Park Beauty Water - they said to use it as primer before make-up or as toner. Never used it for Primer. I used it as toner and FUCKING FREAKIN NIGHTMARE! omg! I used it right before Raya 2018 too! imagine! there were not many information on how I'm supposed to use it or what the fuck this Beauty Water actually is; is it a Toner? Essence? or I just don't read Korean. 
• Cosrx AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner - my savior!!!! more on this below.
• The Face Shop Herb Day Cleansing Cream - this is actually not suitable for me and one of the reason why I completely stopped using any of The Face Shop skin care products.

So, 2018. the year a product from Korea become viral: Some By Mi Miracle Toner. even I was terjebak into buying. LOL but I was desperate!

I was using the Son & Park Beauty Water. my chin was such nightmare; dark skin, jerawat batu, white heads, etc. EVEN on my cheeks! I never had any break out on my cheeks before. I usually only had problems on my T-zone. so, yeah, it's bad!

So, I finally had enough waiting for the Beauty Water to work for me and stopped using completely.

First, I tried using the Some By Mi set.

I remembered taking picture every week for this coz the Miracle Toner said 30 days kan, but I only came across these 2 sets.

My skin became better.

That 30 days claim? not for me. 

I forgot when I started the Cosrx but I know I straight away used Cosrx when the Some By Mi finished.

Notice how I'm still using the Hydro Max Cream here?

it's becoz it didn't finish the same time as the SomeByMi Toner and Serum, so I continued to use it with the Cosrx, and when it didn't cause any bad reaction, I terus kan je.

Below skin picture was taken when I finished the Cosrx.

yes, masih ada scars and break outs, but it wasn't as bad as when I was using the Beauty Water.

and I went on to use skin care products from Mizon, also Korean products.

This picture was taken in on 31st May. See how I almost finished the Toner? The cream is in a big tub. so, still a lot. I plan on continue using it when I got back to using the same Cosrx Toner and Ampoule as above.

From the skin picture update above, that was when I finally understood and you should understood too on why I said The Face Shop products didn't do shit to my skin. LOL look at how the Cosrx did!

I have never reached that level of flawless with my skin as an adult. like, whaaaaa

but one thing to point out; whilst I was using the SomeByMi and Cosrx, I still use traditional ointment to clear out blemishes. I should have tried and see if the products can do the clearing themselves but they took more than a week to clear which made me use the ointments for faster result. and they did.

Green: minyak padas (as I called it. on the sticker it says for gatal2, insect bites), 

Yellow: Minyak Gamat (my most trusted minyak for hilangkan scars), 

Blue: Vicks (for when the other two minyak is not within my reach. they're all together in this pic for picture purposes only LOL!).

Like, Skin Care company, why you lie?

Ok lah. Maybe this is just my skin. maybe other people skin can heal solely by using the products. Always remember, different skin condition reacts differently to the products I mentioned here.

Extras:

I mentioned this in one of the linked post. this one also no further info whether can for face or not. I tried it once on my face, obviously you cannot see changes using it once, and becoz I was scared, I didn't try using it again the sceond time and just used this as hand lotion instead. it was a good hand lotion. LOL

I bought two of this. the first tub I used as my toner in the morning. I didn't mix with any serum or cream, coz I scared I will break out. I think it contributes to clearing my skin as well. I love the medicated smell. the smell alone cleared up my acne. LOL of course not. I just love the clean smell. :P

These are my make-up cleansing set; Banila Co Clean It Zero cleansing balm (turns oily when contact with skin. amazing at removing your make-up), Secret Key Lemon Sparkling Peeling Gel (a face scrub. this one also has some strong medicated smell. I love how it leaves the skin smooth after rinse), and Daily Skin Strawberry Milk Soap (my current favorite facial soap. 3rd time using this!)

the three products that causes my major break outs and stress. The Face Shop Herb Day face wash (i think I was using the lemon one), The Face Shop Dr. Belmeur Bubble Foam Cleanser (instead of cleaning my face, it brings out all the white heads and puss), and you already know the story with the Beauty Water. 

So there you go, an update on my skin care routine. 

I'm proud of this post, coz I have skin pictures. although, it bothered me that they look like a slab of meat when cropped like that. LOL my gosh.

When I was doing my reading and watching about skin care routines, they say to understand the ingredients of the products that you are using and I'm like, "who got time to read ingredients?!" and how also, if I do read, how would I know which ingredients that are causing the break outs? 

Thus, my only (lazy) conclusion is that:

• when your skin showed some kind of irritation on the first use, you should definitely stop and not think, "Eh cuba lagi lah. mana tau the more I use, the better it gets". No, it won't get any better. trust me.
• imma stick to using the Cosrx for now, becoz Cosrx was when my skin was at its clearest EVER. Yes, I'm using Mizon at the moment. Mizon helped maintain what Cosrx have done for my skin but I feel like I wanna use Cosrx again just to see if it will continue to make my skin clear.

I know, long post but I think it ought to be. (◠ω◠✿)
