Rose-colored boi

found via Google
by Noxmoony on DeviantArt

Rose-colored boy
I hear you making all that noise
About the world you want to see
And oh, I'm so annoyed
'Cause I just killed off what was left of the optimist in me

I'm right at the end of my rope
A half-empty girl
Don't make me laugh, I'll choke

Just let me cry a little bit longer
I ain't gon' smile if I don't want to
Hey man, we all can't be like you
I wish we were all rose-colored too

I want you to stop insisting that I'm not a lost cause
'Cause I've been through a lot
Really all I've got is just to stay pissed off

Leave me here a little bit longer
I think I wanna stay in the car
I don't want anybody seeing me cry now
You say "We gotta look on the bright side"
I say "Well maybe if you wanna go blind"

You say my eyes are getting too dark now
But boy, you ain't ever seen my mind

Just let me cry a little bit longer
I ain't gon' smile if I don't want to
Hey, man, we all can't be like you
I wish we were all rose-colored too

a Little taken aback by this

I want to quickly get this out of the way before I continue with my final entry for my KL Trip.

xD

let's get on with today's topic;
a Little Taken Aback by This.

as many know, I like to browse youtube.

currently, my obsession is looking up video for Solo Traveler to Japan.

thus, it make sense when below video pops up as a recommendation

Now, you know I've been to Japan back in 2016 and was so in love with that trip that I planned on going back in 2018.

but let's now watch the video first before you read my next set of thoughts.

First of all,
that hurts.

Second of all,
I think I understand what he meant.

I don't know which part I was most offended on, coz in all honesty, I didn't bother looking for muslim-friendly places while planning for my trip. all I care about is looking for the cheapest hostel!

Back in 2016, I noticed all the things he said, about Japanese being scared.
We were being stopped at the airport once we stepped out of the immigration.
then on the train, there were EMERGENCY ALERT posted on the train monitor. the National Security is on high alert it says. I already thought that it was becoz of us when I first saw it.
Yes, there are people who looked at us dari atas ke bawah.

but apart from those awkward experiences, people don't really care about us. I mean, time kami bejalan to the station, buying food in the convenient stores, boarding the train. Nobody took a second glance at us. PLUS there are a lot more kind people I met than the judging/scared glance people.

Japanese really is a polite country, if you project the same.

It is true when he said, Japan isn't really Muslim-Traveler friendly.
Even when you try to Google, there aren't much.
of course lah ada muslim friendly eatery but still those places aren't that easy to get to, at least not to first timer.
From my recent research, Osaka has a lot of Muslim friendly eatery popping up this year and 2018.
even so, masih limited lah.

anyway,
when you watch the video from start to finish, you are gonna hate Mr. Nobita.
LOL
that's my initial reaction, at least.

I was mostly thinking "and you continued to be ignorant?!"

but then again,
it's not like I'm gona live in Japan forever.

I'm mostly gona be there for at least a week at a time. and all becoz of Harry Potter and Disneyland.

So, I get what he was trying to say;

1. they are just scared. which is natural. I mean, I would too. better be safe than sorry.
2. it seems illogical to work so hard to accommodate a group of people who would probably just gona be there for a week. or sekali atu saja they visit Japan.
3. They can't just throw away their culture just for short-term visitors.

it's like when we want people to respect our home when they come around.
yes, we try to make our guest feel comfortable but that doesn't mean they can just do whatever they want or be too demanding, right?

so yeah... I understand.

but I'm afraid, I'm a little scared to go to Japan now.

LOL

I hope Universal Studio Singapore would have the rights to build their own Wizarding World of Harry Potter soon.

Kalau bukan kerana Harry Potter, I wouldn't be this worked up about going to Japan, banar tah.

hahaha odahnya...

but seriously, Mr. Nobita can say whatever he wants and I can be offended and decided upon never setting foot in Japan anymore.
After all, the world doesn't revolve around any of us and Japan will remain one of the top choices for female solo travel to go to.

I just wish I didn't watch the video.

Onew Goodness

Jonghyun had his Inspiration Solo Concert last Saturday in Busan
and
Onew was there to support him.

When I first saw Onew's IG post, I couldn't really make out what it was but I liked it anyway,
coz, you know, Onew's post. XP

and then afterwards, I saw people posting bits and pieces from the concert.

So, it was a selfie ( ̄。 ̄)
Seriously, Key, teach your hyung how to take proper selfie
or Onew, please get a better selfie-phone

there's also this one

awww...how thoughtful of Jongie to take care of hyung's feelings.

below image had me laughing a long time

coz, I literally JUST thinking about Onew being introvert during that time I saw this post.
the left picture was Minho showing his support for Jongie. if I remember correctly, from clips of videos going around that time was Minho screaming or shouting like the maniac that he is (^L^)

Here's some more

How I felt at least once during SMTown in Singapore. LOL

there was video circulating on IG, i only saw 2. its the same ones anyway. it shows how Onew remain seated and completely covering himself in his winter jacket.

I honestly felt sorry for Onew coz he really didn't want people to pay attention to him during Jongie concert.
or I feel like he would appreciate it if people don't pay attention to him when he's just trying to watch a concert.
Applause to Onew though coz
DID YOU KNOW how hot it is being indoor, in a concert, and have a winter jacket on?
Hot a*s fcuk!
So, applause for being ..noble?

and then there's this

King of Poker Face. and of course he know he's special.
He precious!
(づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ

OR MAYBE!
he just wasn't impress.
HAAHAHAHA

OK, fine! ↁ_ↁ
the other logical explanation would be "maybe he watched it a million times before"

but seriously, what if?! you know?! HAHAHAHA

I love Jongie but SERIOUSLY

hahahahahahaha

Ok, ok. moving on \ᇂ_ᇂ\

Final screenshot that I'm gona share here would be this

kShawol are always thoughtful.

although, I still saw one fanacct refusing to put the video down.

As much as I want to respect his privacy and all that, he is still someone famous. *shrug*

Beside that, Onew's action is applausable

He was being a good friend, a good hyung and most of all, a good leader.

You gotta love this man.

I don't know him that well, but his actions speak louder than words.
If you mean so much to him, he express more with actions than he do with words.
that's just how I feel about him.
completely irrelevant to 'knowing him well enough'.
I'm just saying what I see and read about him.

disclaimer: I don't know who Lee Jinki is. I only know who Onew is.

a/n: all screenshot are mine. although the original IG posts belong to respective owners as cropped.

4 things I hate

(the ones yg i can think of right now)

1. EMPTY DEBATES (I've hated this for ages!).
it's when people starts debating about something they don't know about. or when they only have very small knowledge about. or when their knowledge of the said matter matter is only from back in dinosaur era.
I am not that smart nor am I that knowledgeable about all matters but at least I won't fight/debate empty.

2. touching/holding Gadgets during meal time/outing.
I hate it. masa ani tah tani kan share those knowledge about life so you wont have to debate empty, share opinions that matters, or just to really listen to our beloved. believe me, you wont die when you just put your phone away.

3. Barang damit, jadi basar.
I mean, come on. something so patty and you make it that big of a deal? how patty are you? sadang sadang dude!

4. Becali inda betempat.
I understand jokes and I admire people with the sense of humor. BUT mun time serious pun kn beibun, baik tah. Know your time and place.

A/N: I know. two personal post in such a short time? it must be that time of the month. LOL
or maybe human being just pissed me off easy.

Family my foot.

I was at a family function a couple of weeks ago
and I noticed/realised a lot of things.
  • their sister-in-laws were treating us like what.
  • the younger cousins were doing it too.
  • the cousins, of course, lagi dashyat.
People are just prone to be a blind judge.

I mean, what ever happened in the past had nothing to do with me, or you. it's our parents disputes.

So, what the hell are we doing?

Mom always drag me to 'these' cousins functions because the adults are 'all over it' (so they say). but they'd forgotten what they had done to the next generation of cousins.

I would've act neutral if they would. but everytime I set my mind to be neutral, smiling and greet people politely, they always ended up like a fucktard bitch. EVEN the men/guys/boys.

LIKE SERIOUSLY WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!

and my mom wondered why I never wanted to go?

Mom knew of course, or knew just a little and often telling me off when I got mad. she said, 'tani jangan tah ikut2an bejahat. Mun inda, sama tah tani jua macam drg tu'.
*rolled eyes*
Tau plang ku. ganya, I'm still just human and a human can only stand to a certain limit.

and My way of not bad mouthing them is TO NOT see them. EVER.
the less I see the lot of them , the better I feel. the less I 'mengumpat'. the less I 'sakit hati'.

I know they're not all like that. they are VERY nice people too. just not much.

and it's just THAT side of that family. always.

I don't know what their problem is.

all I'm asking is, just, GET OVER YOURSELVES. THE WORLD DOESN'T REVOLVE AROUND YOU.

the world is not split into good people and Death Eaters - Sirius Black.

Keep Calm moment

So there was this news about Onew giving the middle finger on some radio show (kan selalunya ada rakaman video jua time radio show ani) and it was caught on camera.

[I chose that picture  because; 1) it shows both the middle finger n Onew and 2) Onew's face. SO CUTE! lol!]

It was probably unintentionally (as in for it to be caught on camera) but people a.k.a. netizens were making such a big fuss about it.

my initial reaction when i saw the article from allkpop? Yawah?? *clicked on the link and read the article*

-___- Pikir ku tah apa. I mean, come on. I tot mcm over vulgarity kh apa kh. rupanya cematu saja. So? He's only human what?

and then, cZawir mentioned aku arah Twitter about that article and I went, "So what leh? I do it all the time .l."

LOL. believe me, he taught me that. he even have that t(-_-t) going on.

and I tweeted some more after reading them comments:

that news had gone out of proportion for no apparent reason at all. and he wasn't the first!

dammmmiiittt!

but. yeah, I was ok. I mean, come on.
