Staying home on the weekends

Hello friends

Welcome

Its considered summer here in Brunei and its been really hot!
Not that our country isn't always, but right now its exceedingly hot. Even my airconditioner could not be any cooler during day time. its frustrating.
So, I'm composing this, trying to be calm, and set my mind into cool mode.
but I'm still sweating bucket.

So,

first off, 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BESTIE, ZOEY! you're getting old. muahahaha and you can't say I'm older coz we the same age now. *merong*

Second off, 
I've been staying at home since yesterday (Saturday), and only went out this morning to buy food coz you know I don't cook. 
Hence, me having some time to 'explore' things.

I don't know when but the furthest would be last month, I saw a post on IG probably with the hashtag Studygram, and I saw a study table similar to mine. (I couldnt find that post :S )
this study table has a build-in cabinet and board-like features.

What I did with mine was, I bought a cork board, thinking there's no way I'm gonna put glue or sellotape on my precious build-in white board. 

how mine looks like. don't judge my clutter. :P

and you should know, I have this study table for three years now.

back to the IG post,in it however, I noticed the owner has four magnetic button on her board features. 

Really, this is what I saw on that IG's post. that's why I'm confident in saying its magnet buttons. 

LOL

I frowned and thought, "ada magnet wah?" and made a mental note to try on mine later on, coz I wasn't home when I saw that IG post.
but being me, I forgot all about the 'testing' later on and only remembered to try it last night.

I previously bought these cute magnets and planned on putting it on my board using a blue tack

but what do you know? ⊂•⊃_⊂•⊃
the board really is magnetic.

seriously?! I have this table for 3 years and not know the board is magnetic?!

if it wasn't for that IG post, I'd probably die not knowing. ∧( ‘Θ’ )∧

the 28th Birthday

Gosh I'm getting old.

but that's just how I feel when I look at the number.

Inside, honestly I feel normal. I still feel, well, me.

10th Sep

Spent most of my day time at home and in the toilet (coz I was sick with diarrhea. I still am ┐(‘～`；)┌)

Evening time, 

I went to the movie with Zawir. thanks for the movie treat, dude! 

he bought me a cupcake 

but since i was still sick, I didn't dare to eat it and plan on eating it at home but in our hurry, we lupa to bring the cupcake with us from the food court. hahaha

Scorch Trials, I can't rate it. Coz I am not happy with the 'zombie Apocalypse' . So, when I got home from the movie, aku tarus download the ebook. page 99 now. and you can just tell how much I love the book already. ◎[‿]◎

12th Sep

Lepak time with Geng Keras (+ 1 a.k.a. Kuch's Husband)

they surprised me with cakes (yes, cakes; a RedVelvet cupcake from Buzz, a rainbow cake from Kuch and Chocolate cake from Zawir; he said, 'no more utang ahh' LOL).

THANK YOU GUYS! You awesome! I was touched and thankful. as cKuch's husband said. "saranghaeyo" LOL (and I replied as I clapped 'my work here is done!') ♥‿♥

I was still sick of course, and felt sorry for them coz I kept disappearing to the toilet like, more than necessary LOL Sorry guys. I'll make sure my health will be in order by the next time we hang out. :D

on a brighter note, it has been a fun birthday altogether. ( ･_･)♡

Day 6 Challenge; Fave Quote

my Stress reliever

A couple of weeks ago, me and Buzz went to the Consumer Fair at ICC.

the fair was super ...neutral. coz it was the same as the previous (and previous nya lagi punya) year; local vendors selling clothing, shawls, cookies, electronics, FOOD! you know, the usual.

I lost it as soon as I left ICC compound. I think I lost it in the bus coz I got stuck for a moment in it.

I was so upset about it.

the one thing different was the FREE photo booth at DST booth. It was the same as the one we had during our BBB annual dinner last Jan.

since me and buzz almost finish shopping (cBuzz shopping, I was mostly eating and drinking and looking around saja hahah), we agreed  to take some photos. It was free anyway.

Look at us. being funny. hahaha

and on our way to catch the bus which will bring us back to where we parked our car, we met Hasrin.

Then in the car, we ate our food.

We contacted Zawir during that time, for a lepaks.
We decided to watch Jurassic Park at Empire Cinema but  when we got there, there was no decent seats available. So, we ended up taking a stroll at the Empire beach ground.

Feb the second

Geng Keras had another get together.

I wasn't actually able to go in the beginning but seeing as I wanted to give Kuch presents before she fly off, I came jua. walaupun aher.

When I sampai, they all had already started eating and watching some singing competition via Buzz new laptop. I shamelessly joined eating; Pizza and PuffLuva.

but after a while, I suggested we watch something else, coz as much as I love singing (watching or listening), it get a little too much.

Kuch suggested Barbie. among other suggestion yg I couldn't remember anymore.

and what a laugh it turned out to be!

We stumbled upon this Barbie Life in a Dreamhouse series. We clicked the one with the longest hour on the clock so we didn't have to constantly click a window, you know, and started watching and laughing insanely. and I mean that, insanely!
the series are each very short and the story was mostly about Barbie (duh) and friends going about their 'famous' life style or the sort.
the funny thing is, they know that they are dolls, made of plastics, even their fire is made of plastic. their logic is so katun! like, it's just a toy! and their appliances are mostly bigger than they are. Like, the girls mascara is so big! you have to watch it to see the funny that I am talking about.

I've been downloading the series just for the sake of it. 

and even become so engross that I bought Barbie's lollipop!

While I was browsing ebay, I even came across this!

it's moschino btw. I saw Tiffany from SNSD wore it once. 
Kuch told me to buy a few since in Barbie, they had the habit of throwing away their vain mirrors.
Ok, ching, I'll do just that. hahaha

I've been wanting to download some more of the Barbie series but my internet connection is sooooo awesome that I have to put my wants on hold for the time being and just watch the ones I only ready have.

Pink is getting into me. I was just joking when I said it but it's becoming too real that Pink is my new fav color!

Singapore Trip part 2

Day 2.

We woke up early and quite easily on day 2.
Why?
Because it's Universal Studio Day!!!

and it was Onew's socks day too! xD

the theme park actually opens at 10:30am but since we haven't purchase the tickets, we need to go to the counter at 8:30am when it opens. which was what we did. We woke up at maybe 6:30am, got ready and left our hotel by 7:30(ish)am.

Happy faces.

After we bought the tickets, we waited around Vivo City like lost puppies (it was too early. kadai pun alum buka except for McD at which we had our breakfast :D It was McD kinda trip).

And before we know it, we were excitedly queuing to Enter by 10:30am.

the excitement was overwhelming, like you want to play everything all at once. hahah but of course, we took it once step at a time. We split up; i went with Zawir and Bazilah went with her nephew.

 Revenge of the Mummy at Ancient Egypt. This is an awesome roller coaster ride!

(note: definitely my fav part of the entire park ;D 

I grew up watching The Mummy and The Mummy Return over and over again :P)

 this one was kinda like stumbled upon last minute. time kami kan balik.

The Rockafella at New York.

this one lagi tah by luck. When we got out of Lights, Camera, Action we heard commotion and cheered that we just had to check it out. and Lucky we did. these guys are awesome B-Boys and insanely funny. Zawir got the jis of it. LOL

a/n: I know, selfie galore. Sorry viewers. (NOT! hahaha)

We finally met up again for lunch before we continue on with few more rides and actions to see. We ate Oasis Spice Cafe. It stated in the map that they serve halal food. So, kami pun dengan kebulurnya, tarus masuk and order. the price of the food was surprisingly, normal-expensive. AND portion nya banyak berabis! hahah kami tu worried yg it'd be over our budget. but luckily, not. So, happy tummy!

Continuing on~

Zawir went into the Transformer The Ride thrice while I went in twice.
 the second time we went in, we were all four. The four of us also went in together to watch the Shrek 4-D Adventure (Bazilah's and nephew's second time) and last but not least, together we went into the Madagascar: A Crate Adventure (this ride is like a calm version of water log ride).

After that, we had some last minute shopping for souveniars and took selfies 

(of course) before finally exiting the theme park. Because we don't want to leave just yet, we stroll around the outside area, taking more pictures and lepak-ing for awhile at this sorta abandon swimming pool.

Zawir went gaga.

Our intial plan was to stay until night falls but since the park was only opened until 7pm that day, we didn't get to stay till night time. at least we stayed until closing time.

and I played most of the game! my personal aim! I wanted so much to play the big roller coaster (which I don't know the name of) because it was under maintainence. I also didn't play the Accelerator (a ride like the tea-pot thingy where it just whirled round and round). but I am still happy with my achievement to play all the rides. I missed Water World action reenactment.Bazilah and her nephew seen it.

OH! I should mention; you need to take the theme park map and entertainment schedule as you entered. 

they are a lot of help for you to make full use of your time to enjoy Universal. YOU MUST!

if on day 1 we were exhausted, it was a lot worst on day 2. We even continued shopping di Bugis Junction after we freshen up from Universal. LOL we that hardcore shopper!!
