Miss me?

*smirk*

bet you do

*smirk one more time*

Today is a lot of people's birthday; my brother, my sister-in-law's, a colleague, a friend, and apparently, BoA. hmm *frown*

I always thought her birth date was 15th October.

I Googled.

Turns out, I've been wrongly informed. the only date associated to 15th October is her debut in the USA with Eat You Up with the actual date as 14th October.
*more frown*
Like, where did fifteenth October come from?
LOL

anyway,
I only posted once in October.
I promised myself, earlier this year, that I wouldn't be doing that kind of stuff anymore.
But really, with only so many readers that I have on here *kindly detact sarcasm*, how can I keep this blog going?
*shrug*

but then again,
knowing that there are a few souls that are still reading this space, made me come back and make this post.
So thank you kind souls!
Jessica, Esma, and my besties, whom I hope are still checking this blog out. *unsure*

Erm...
an update about me?

I'm not a millionaire yet.

LOL

but I still have high ambition towards travelling overseas.

which I shall talk in my next scheduled post ;)

For now,
this is all.

here's a hint for next post (maybe)

Catching up

ssuppppp

it's the start of the weekend and my body finally decided to shut down.

but I refuses to be sick!

and now I'm with a blocked nose with awesome occasional coughs.

Now,

I finally push myself into renewing my passport this afternoon.
I've been putting it off since it expires in March becoz I have procrastination issues: the anxiety of settling any official documents eg. car insurance and road tax, driving license, travel document aka passport, etc. anything to do with these things, I some what procrastinate more than I do with other things in my life.
NO.
I don't have anything to hide from the authority coz seriously we can't really hide things but I don't know. I just do.
they make me nervous. eventhough I have don't nothing wrong. HAHAHAH ヾ(●⌒∇⌒●)ノ
there had to be an explanation to this anxiety coz I believe I'm not the only one with it.

anyway,
that's done.

After lunch
I went and antar kain for baju hari raya.
yes, it's that time of the year again.
and no, it's not too early for us girls. it's actually quite late.
at first I went to this famous tailor in town coz i wanted a certain design done for my baju and I thought they'll do an amazing job at it but not even five minutes in that shop and I was out.
1. the one attending me was soo 'ummm' every time I asked 'How much would that cost?' I don't know if it's my job experience but that constant umm-ness does not portray confidence and made me think that you're just want to charge me randomly.
2. it's wayyyy too expensive! I understand that the tailor attends to the royal family and I understand she has a reputation to uphold or something. but I just find it not worth it. Ok, fine. maybe its just because I'm not fucking rich and I cant afford that bloody tailor

So, I ended up going to our (me, my mom's and sister's) old tailor.
I know, why would I wana go to a new tailor for a certain design and not trust my old-came-out-with-exceed-expactation-result tailor? I guess I wanted something new. (I did this a couple of years ago with another different tailor and I ended up going back to the old tailor the next year. LOL. someone didn't learn any lesson!)
and what do you know. I didn't get to do one of the skirt design (becoz my kain not enough width) but I got the other 3. so that's better than nothing. AND! they cost about CHEAP! I sent 5 kain total. so pretty good bargain. the most cheap one cost $31 the most expensive is $50. the earlier shop about to charge me $70 for one design and atu pun balum include lapis inside. my goodness.
alright alright. I'm being bitter coz I'm not rich and I should have known better that I could not afford to send baju to that shop. hahah I just thought I tried. ٩◔‿◔۶
ah well.. i should just stick with the old tailor. they are accustomed to my needs anyway.

so, thats two of the things that needed to be crossed of the list of things to do done.
Ringan sikit bahu and my anxiety lessen.
hahaha I know, I'm such a nerve wreck. (〃^∇^)ノ

Hows your weekend so far?
I hope you're having it far better off than mine.

I'm gonna go and continue to watch Criminal Minds season 8 episode 16.

ciao~

Vacation

Day 9: Vacation

this had to be the laziest of doodle in the history of laziest doodle.

LOL

But since I'm flying in a few more days to Manila, I mean, why not draw Philippines flag, right?

and also,

I think I am coming down with a fever; runny nose, sore throat, sneezes like what, just, minus the fever.

I know I should be happy (YAY CUTI SAKIT!) but I am so malas to go to the clinic to take MC (a medical certificate stating you are unfit to go to work) so, I don't know. we will see tomorrow.
It must be that durian I ate this morning. I'm not a durian person normally but it was sitting there on our kitchen floor, half opened and I just opened the other half.
and later towards the day, I drank a lot of carbonated drinks.
hmm...this almost reminds me of those days when all I wanted was to get sick and I did a lot of shits just to get myself sick. hahahah
but seriously, this time, it wasn't intentional.
After I realized what I've done (with the carbonated drinks), I've pushed myself to drink a lot of plain water. I just finished a medium sized bottle and now on to the big bottle.
Not that it wouldn't be fun not to go to work tomorrow but I'm flying in a few days time and I don't want to be worried about body scan and what not at the airport when I'm still recovering from my fever. trust me, I know. I was sick on my way home from England last time and it was during the H1N1 out break. -.- You can call me paranoid.

Ok, buat karangan panjang jua lah disini ani... LOL

imma go now. trying to draw tomorrow's D10: OOTD. I don't usually thought of OOTD. so, this is gonna be a challenge (no pun intended ;P)

my Stress reliever

A couple of weeks ago, me and Buzz went to the Consumer Fair at ICC.

the fair was super ...neutral. coz it was the same as the previous (and previous nya lagi punya) year; local vendors selling clothing, shawls, cookies, electronics, FOOD! you know, the usual.

See that Anna sanitizer (click image to enlarge. it was attached on my bag)
I lost it as soon as I left ICC compound. I think I lost it in the bus coz I got stuck for a moment in it.
I was so upset about it.

the one thing different was the FREE photo booth at DST booth. It was the same as the one we had during our BBB annual dinner last Jan.

since me and buzz almost finish shopping (cBuzz shopping, I was mostly eating and drinking and looking around saja hahah), we agreed  to take some photos. It was free anyway.

Look at us. being funny. hahaha

and on our way to catch the bus which will bring us back to where we parked our car, we met Hasrin.

Then in the car, we ate our food.

We contacted Zawir during that time, for a lepaks.
We decided to watch Jurassic Park at Empire Cinema but  when we got there, there was no decent seats available. So, we ended up taking a stroll at the Empire beach ground.

Sekaliiiiiii

Hujan!
so we spent our time waiting for the rain to stop taking pictures.
Here's a couple of them

"Dancing in the rain"

Selepas itu, hujan teduh..and we balik.

so much for a happening night. hahaha

but still. I had a proper smile on my face after a tough week.

My awesome friend brings out the best in me. *cough* cheesy *cough*

Me is lazy

I know I told myself that I'd finished at least 4 books this weekend.

I also said 'if aku rajin' which brings us to this post.

ahaha I wasn't rajin thus I ended up finishing only One book and it sorta doesn't count coz I started reading on Wednesday and finished it on Thursday. before the weekend. So, doesn't quite counts.

that book was called Monstrous Beauty by Elizabeth Fama.

It was a good read. I bought it pasal covernya Mermaid. I've always have a fascination over mermaid, thanks to Disney but this book is a whole new level of mermaidness. like, i think the Pirate of the Carribean 4th movie version of mermaid is far more accurate than the Disney version.
and it talked about a mother's love. so, that a bit touching. a mother's love conquers all.

I started reading Blood Magic by Tesa Gratton on Friday night

and I only passed page 32. No, it's not boring, the book is actually very intriguing. it just, I feel the need to laze around this weekend. just, that.

(after Googling for the above  Blood Magic photo, i found out that this book actually is a series. -.- I love series books, i honestly do. what i don't like about them is that, they made feel like i have to follow thru with the next book. like it's an obligation or something. I know i don't have to if i don't want but I HAVE to. you know what i mean?! ugh! now I need to put this one in my list of books to buy in Singapore next year. and her, Tessa Gratton's, website is awesome! check it out here!)

Instead, I played my games on my phone, watched another round of Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix movie and even started on my 'old' anime DVDs that i bought, like, maybe, two years ago. (LOL. I had the habit of buying things and left it there to dust) i have 4 box sets of DVDs that are still plastic sealed. I opened the one called 'Working' and started watching that till episode 7. I actually let it run till episode 8 but i wasn't concentrating at all (playing games on my phone again) thus that doesn't count. I shall try and continue watching later.

for now, let me download Kyuhyun and Nicole mini album.

hopefully internet connection stays awesome.

Happy weekend lovely people. xD

Hi November

Good Morning lovely people. (it's 2:38am now LOL)

I missed Halloween. and dinner.
coz I fell asleep soon after I got back from work.

Yes, it's been a loooonngggggg week.

a lot happened in a week, believe it or not.
I finished reading two books, watched Ouija and hung out with ex-colleagues (not particularly in that order, of course).

last friday (24th Oct), I finished reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

(finally!) and got so intrigued that I downloaded ebooks for the second, third and fourth of the series.
and half-way thru New Moon, I realise I was obsessing over this series. you know, macam aku obsess arah Harry Potter. it's the same kinda obsession. LOL
I finished reading New Moon in two nights (I only read night time since at work I can not really concentrate).

and I continued on Eclipse which took me longer (well longer after New Moon. took me longer finishing Twilight. rupanya you have to push pass that first book to be able to be obsess with this series LOL); three nights, to finish coz I was tiredddd I took pauses in between but being obsess, I insisted on finishing it. hahaha I feel like I was seventeen all over again.

I was supposed to start with Breaking Dawn tonight

buttt since aku tertidur, I start tomorrow - or later.

all this reading via ebook made me realise how much I forever in love with (physical) books. Sama plang saja, reading words but kalau baca from (physical) books is so much .. more .. feel? thats how I feel saja lah. different people different feels. xD

continuing on,
Last Sunday (26th Oct), there was a lunch outing with the ex-colleagues (except Ami. me and her still colleagues :) ).

(left to right; Ami, Zaidah, Me, Faizah, Jidah and Jason)

it was awkward at first, but as time progressed, we ended up having a lot of fun. I remember looking around the table and thought, 'I miss this'. We were once so close but I guess not all close friendship will last. I'm just glad we are all (if not really) in good terms with each other. It was a nice catch-up session. ;)

afterwards, me and Faizah (yes, just us two. among the four yang left the company, I remain close in contacts with Faizah) went to the Mall and liat wayang. ceta Ouija

I gave it 9/10. LOL generous, I know!
but since Annabelle (which I gave 8/10, another generous rate hahaha)

I feel like ong puteh learned how to make good ghost movies again. the last scariest movie I watched was the Sixth Sense. imagine that. I guess my generosity came from being able to actually understand cerita2 ani. selalunya ghost movie durang ani inda membari paham or ended up on a killing spree saja without ending. well, Ouija was like that too but more tolerable and actually really was just a ghost movie. Thumbs up to the maker. Please continue to make good ghost movies in the future.

then Monday came and all I can think about is tiredness. haha mana inda, everynight after, baca buku(ebook) sampai menyubuh. I hope I give the same kind of dedication when I started going back to school next year. LOL #hopeful

all in all, as tiring as it had been, it was a good week and at work (yesterday already now) it ends nicely; we had makan-makan for my Supervisor's birthday and a junior's leaving. Food is always a happy thing for me. xD

Weekend starts already and I should sleep (it's 3am now). I need to wake up early later to go immigration with my sister.

So, happy weekend everybody. will update soonies. ciao~

Harry Potter

been doing a full Harry Potter marathon these past few weeks.
out of boredem.
and I realized something.

the Harry Potter character in the movies is very Sarcatic. like, very.
I duno if its an English thing or it was actually there from the beginning in the book.
aku baru noticed.
hahahaha

I know. sesungguhnya aku boring.
Just sitting here, watching the same movies over and over again.

currently watching Goblet of Fire. Barty Crouch. Polyjuice Potion. Hagrid. Weasley. Krum.

haahahaha.

OK, babbling shiz now.

I might stop this movie and go watch DongYi instead. "Chona~" "DongYi-ya~" "Chona~" "Geum-a~"

LOL

until next time lovelies~

enjoy your weekend~
