Updates.

My allergic reaction to cats.

back story:
Ever since I was little, We, as a family, have always had cats; house cats, stray cats outside, etc. 
In my teenage years, I began having this sneezing fit whenever I pet/hugged/played with cats
BUT the reaction subsides after I washed/blew my nose. I'll have blocked nose for awhile but in the end, I'll be fine and I even slept in one bed with the cats. it's like, I became immune.
At one point (the point when we had two house cats), my mom started saying, "Ko ani allergic kucing kali" coz this sneezing fit happened almost every time I played with cats. I blatantly stopped my mom by saying, "apa plang allergic yg dari damit (aku) tinggal sama kucing". and that was that of that conversation.

Fast forward:
by this point we have lived at our new home for 5 years and for that duration, our previously house cats have been living in their own house outside of our house (properly sheltered and comforted, don't worry). Meaning, I have never stayed in one room with any cats for longer than 15 minutes top. Sometimes I don't even see them for a whole day. Mind you, these are family aka my mom's cats, sooo she see/baby-ed them more often than I do.
anyway,
my sneezing fit reaction still exists but the moment I get away from their place, it usually stops. and that was that.


1st major incident.
I was at my sister's house. she has a house cat named Tiger. 

LOOK AT HIM!

I used to house-sit her house whenever they go vacation. and of course, sneezing fit will occur but after I do my clean-nose-under-running-water-wash-face-wash-hand routine, it'll stop. as always.
but for some reason, earlier this month, when I went to her house to hang out, my sneezing fit became a little severe? and all I did was pet si Tiger macam biasa kalau aku ke rumah durang. Like, what gives?
No matter how many times I blew my nose and washed it, the sneezing won't stop. I soon developed a blocked nose, headache and my upper teeth felt like it was about to fall off.
I knew it was the cat and I knew if the usual clean up routine didn't work, the best thing to do is to take myself out of that environment. So, I left my sister's house unusually early.
It was like I had a common cold. hence, when I get home, I took Panadol ActiFast before going to bed.
I was fine the next day.


2nd Major incident.
happened just last Monday at Zawir's. LOL
It was a mini birthday celebration for the sister. and I was invited.
as I arrived, the mom introduced their house cat to me.
The moment the cat was shown to me, I started having itchy nose and soon enough, my sneezing fit arrived. but that didn't stop me from playing with the cat! Like, it's so ranik and easily entertain, like, you have to play with it.

The whole time, I tried to mask the irritation. LOL fail tho. Zawir thought it was the airconditioning. It was not bro. It was the cat.
Despite the reaction, I actually stayed sampai pukul 7 malam. hashtag stubborn. coz I really thought it would go away. Guess who is wrong~~? 
but really by that time, I really cannot tahan the feeling of my upper teeth about to fall off. So, sis balik.
When I arrived home, my eyes felt 'thick' and when I looked in the mirror, they were slightly puffy (no picture guys, you gotta take my word for it). I quickly clean up and eat my trusty Panadol ActiFast and within the next couple of hours, the symptoms subsides. except the blocked nose. that one took longer.
but unlike last time, the next day, I still have runny nose. my only worry now is people might be suspicious of me, what's with the corona virus issue and all. 

In conclusion, I declared myself allergic to cats now. Like, REALLY allergic to cats now. Dulu, bulih lagi ku cuba clean my nose and get myself ammune but I can no longer do that. Hashtag Faktur Umurrrrr.
I still love cats tho. I will still pet them. or gumas2. or param2. or pirik2. LOL I mean, cats have been with me my entire life! I can't just be without cats! don't be ridikulus.
Paksa belimit saja lah from now on.

quick one. and short. I hope. LOL

If you followed me on IG, you would know that I am currently rereading the Harry Potter Series.
No, I did not run out of new books to read but the last two were kinda, disappointing? 

the first book of disappointment was Songs about A Girl by Chris Russell. 

I finished this after my 7th read. Started on 29th Jul and finished on 22 Jul. Yeah, it took that long. I don't hate it but damn fanfiction can be shallow. I'm saying this becoz I was once this shallow. bahahah


Next I began the Girls Made of Snow and Glass by Melissa Bashardoust. 

I began maybe few days after I finished Chris's. like maybe 27th Jul or 29th Jul. the story line is base of Snow White and her step-mom/queen. but no matter how much I try to engross myself in this story, I just can't. Like, I can't. I even read super slow. I stopped completely by chapter 4. Like, I am so done.

Disappointed and frustrated for not being able to get the satisfaction from finishing a book, I decided, I'm gonna reread my Harry Potter series. I've been wanting to do it for a while and thought, PERFECT TIMING. Also, I am confident that Harry Potter will fill in the void other books can't.

some people claimed to have read the books for like quote 13 timesss unquote, but I think overall, not including this round,  I only every read all 7 books, twice?
First Harry Potter book I read was actually Goblet of Fire, my cousin lent his book to me. then I went to the school library (this was back when I was 15 or 16) to start reading from the beginning; an English teacher was clearly a Potterhead becoz she supplied TWO SETS of Book 1-5 to the school library.

so that was my first read of Book 1, 2, 3, and 5. second read for book 4.

My sister bought me Order of the Phoenix (book 5), I forgot for which birthday but obviously I had my second read then. although, if you look closer, the spine of book 5 kinda almost torn like I read my copy more than once. I probably did. I just, can't remember as I'm typing this.

I bought my own Half-Blood Prince (book 6) when it came out. my first read.

I remember rereading Book 4 becoz the movie's coming out! - my third read.

I didn't read Book 5 when the movie came out coz I learned from previous preparation that you'll just be expecting so much and be left disappointed.

Deathly Hallows came out when I started working. first read. 

Let's not start with the sadness of the book ending coz I still have 3 movies to look forward to at that time.

I finally able to purchase my own Harry Potter book 1-4. I bought them two at a time. read them once after purchased. 
my second read of Book 1-3, fourth read for Book 4. 
obviously, rule of thumbs, after I finished book 4, i have to continue and finish with Book 5-7, making it my third read of book 5 (I was right! I read my own copy more than once), and second read for book 6-7.

Dammmmmmmm meaning, right now, I'm rereading Goblet of Fire for the fifth time!

(ok. here's a legend so you won't get confuse: first read. second read. third read. fourth read.)


I wanted to scream "BEST DECISION EVER" I mean, it is the best decision I made so far but now, I'm missing the Wizarding World of Harry Potter a lot!

sighh~~

anyway, the plan was to finish all seven books in seven weeks. Currently in reading book 4; Goblet of Fire.
i think i've excelled myself this time:
Book 1, Philisipher's Stone - start 7th Aug. finish 10th Aug
Book 2, Chamber of Secrets - start 11th Aug. finish 14th Aug
Book 3, Prisoner of Azkaban * - start 14th Aug. finish 22th Aug
Book 4, Goblet of Fire - start 22nd Aug. **

* yeah, Prisoner took longer to finish becoz I hang out a lot during my lunch time when starting that book and I didn't pick it up when I was at home. so, a little slow. 
** as for book 4, I plan to finish reading on 30th Aug. 

Now, lemme share you a conversation I had with my friend from work (and also the inspiration behind this post):

I don't know if I ever mentioned this before but I'm the type yg will be hard on myself when I didn't reach the goal I set for myself, meaning I'm gonna stress about this. but I know I can do this. tonight I've already baca up until chapter Fifteen. the Beauxbatons and Drumstrang are arriving at Hogwarts. 

but then again, I could just be "meh~"

oh, why 30th Aug? becoz I'll be going for a short trip from 31st Aug - 2nd Sep. So i thought, finish book 4 before the trip and continue with book 5 when I get back. 😉 IF ONLY I'm this organize with everything else in my life.

Anyway, 
so much for a short one. LOL who can shut me up when I start talking about my favorite things??

One thing for certain, doing this rereading; Harry Potter the books are so much better than the movies. Of course i still love the movies. it's just, book Ron is far more superior! than movie Ron. just saying. and anybody remember Peeves? Winky? Professor Sinistra?

Japan Trip Day 1.2

we sub-title this post : New Experience

We 'partial' check-in at our hotel, Drop Inn Osaka. well, actually, bukan hotel. 
it's an hostel.
coz we sleep in bunker bed and eat at the lounge and share bathroom with others.

I didn't take proper pictures of our stay there.
I think cBuzz ada make video of it.
I only took pictures of where I sleep.



The place was surprisingly ok.
the rules weren't that tight.



we stayed for 2 nights and those two nights were a challenge.
coz we stayed in a dorm like room; for about maybe 20 females (yes, separated dorms for male and female. but they also have Japanese style bedroom for 4 people.) and at around midnight, people kept coming and out of the door non-stop. our bed was facing the main door, which must be kept shut at all times, thus the opening/shutting door was very noisy.
nasib kami ngaleh. and I was surprised with myself jua. Usually, I don't sleep well in new places, but i think I slept well from midnight till next morning.

anyway, once we finished our 'partial' check-in ( I said 'partial' because we couldn't get to our bunker yet. they only available at 4pm. it was only 1pm or 2pm when we check-in), I asked whether we can use their shower area, and was SO glad we could, so our next mission was to clean up and freshen up.

individual shower area, ada doors with locks.
we could bring our luggage into the shower area (coz ada extra not-shower space) and can still change baju inside without having to go out and be conscious about people looking.

After that, we were feeling a little lighter and decided to rest arah the open lounge/common room.
since our last meal was dalam kapal at around ...pokoknya couple of hours before kami land at 9am, I decided we celebrate my bday early and eat the cake.

i wouldn't know that it was a mousse type of cake.
and it was out of the freezer for more than 6hrs by that time.
Kesian the cake.

We stepped out of the place at around 3pm and when we were to left our luggage at the counter (coz we were told our bed balum ready till 4pm kan), the receptionist said 'you can check-in already' and although I made this -_- (physically shown or not), I was just glad and we both naik the lift once again and go to our dorm and left our luggage before we ventured out in search of Universal Studio Japan.

D28: A Memory

this was that one memory that I could not really remember other than it's a very funny one. Zoey and Kuch would remembered. We laughed so hard at that time.

Another thing yg I remembered was I wanted to be sick so bad!

(and I did get sick the next day LOL!)

To those who do not know; when you combine Durian with any carbonated drinks it makes your stomach grumble and for me it made me had a 'homemade' diarrhea. 

LOL!!! x10!!!!

D29: Embarrassing Moment

well.. I don't like reliving my most embarrassing moment. it usually resurfaces when I was about to fall to sleep. I'm telling you, it wasn't a pleasant feelings. So, for me to try and draw those moments is really a big nonononononononononononono (x infinity)

It's not really a 'enough said' coz nothing is ever gona be 'enough said' for the ones you love.

well, this is like 1/3 of my room. and it's not exactly in that color. LOL

they are actually in white color.

D16: Something you bring for vacation. or in my case; THINGS

Honestly, I wasn't sure of what I actually bring during vacations. I know we had to bring some necessities. but the one thing I usually bring isn't really just ONE thing. it' a lot of things and the above are the examples. LOL me babbling is the worst.

D17: Childhood game

I was initially thinking of drawing Monopoly since that board game was and still is my fav but I thought, Snake and Ladder is so much fun to draw (and far more easier to draw (●*∩_∩*●) ) than Monopoly. AND it's a little nostalgic when I see this so I am glad Icpicked Snake and Ladder as my childhood game. 

D18: Nails

I drew my left hand and used real nail polish on this. \m/(>.<)\m/

I've always love the 'Sailor' theme paint for nails but I never got the chance to out them on my real nails. （〜^∇^)〜

D19: Fave Drinks. or Drink. (coz I lazy to draw (*~▽~))

 I only noticed that it says 'Drinks' as in plural. LOL 

I would have drawn like plenty if I've noticed it earlier. but I guess this will have to do since it really is one of my top most fav drink. ヾ(*´∀｀*）ノ

Yes, my dream is to go to one of the SHINee World Concert. After not being able to go to a Westlife Concert, I feel like I NEED to go to a SHINee Concert this time around.

D23: Fave Song

Annie 1999 version had always been my fav musical/movie of Annie.

I haven't watch the 2014 Annie but I heard this song on the radio and love it right away.

D24: Rainbow

I've loved Rainbow for its colors since forever. I even loved Rainbow cake for that same reason.

but ever since the US are using Rainbow as their 'Equality' colors, I began to not liking it anymore.

It's just my belief. I will not try and explain it here. 

I'm just pointing out just WHY THEY HAD TO RUIN MY FAV?! 

D25: Fandom

YAS! I am in the Shawol (short for SHINee World) fandom.

I'm also in so many book fandom (namely Harry Potter).

D26: Gadgets (once again, just ONE gadget)

as simple as this drawing goes, it took me ages to finish.

Make do

that one time that I wanted to paint my nails a nude color

I tried all the nude color tester in FaceShop, Etude, Holika Holika and SkinFood.

But I couldn't decide which one I should buy first.

So, the next day, after much consideration, I got home and decided to just paint my nails chocolate instead.

hahaha. 

kira, kalah-kalahan lah ni aku ah. Can not decide which one to buy, just use the one yg I already have. in my head, i was thinking, nude color is like skin color and skin color is a shade of brown and chocolate is a shade of brown. You see the connection now? 

just laugh when you still cannot see it.

a/n: I realised that my nails/fingers are ugly. they are so dry and lack nutrition. Just don't look too long at the pictures. :P

D12: Fave Movie

my current fave movie. 

I've always been a Cinderella fanatic and my ultimate fav has to be Ever After. 

but that one is a bit tough to draw and I don't have the energy to do tough doodling right now. So i settled with this one saja ≧◡≦

D13: Fave Book

once again, this is my current fav.

While I was figuring out about my fav book, I realized, I don't have ONE fav book. I have A LOT fav books! I know it's hard to believe but I'm a book lover. asking me which one is my ultimate fav is like trying to pick one fav star in the sky; i tat bit hard.

D14: Hobby

at first I wanted to write/draw me writing and reading. which they are (still) my hobbies.

but ever since the moving, all my spare time was spent on sleeping. Even when I was thinking of picking up a book to read (to check off my reading list), I ended up curled up on my bed to sleep. hahaha so, yeah, my hobby now is sleep.

It's the English toffee candy that I've been searching for a very long time.

I found it di SupaSave during the Hari Raya festives. 

and it costs 10.90 per box (the picture is deceiving. it's actually pretty small)

awesome.

but I'm a happy and that is all that matters!

I think this box could last me for a year. So, I don't have to worry about buying a new box anytime soon.

Vacation

Day 9: Vacation

this had to be the laziest of doodle in the history of laziest doodle.

LOL

But since I'm flying in a few more days to Manila, I mean, why not draw Philippines flag, right?

and also,

I think I am coming down with a fever; runny nose, sore throat, sneezes like what, just, minus the fever.

I know I should be happy (YAY CUTI SAKIT!) but I am so malas to go to the clinic to take MC (a medical certificate stating you are unfit to go to work) so, I don't know. we will see tomorrow. 
It must be that durian I ate this morning. I'm not a durian person normally but it was sitting there on our kitchen floor, half opened and I just opened the other half. 
and later towards the day, I drank a lot of carbonated drinks. 
hmm...this almost reminds me of those days when all I wanted was to get sick and I did a lot of shits just to get myself sick. hahahah
but seriously, this time, it wasn't intentional. 
After I realized what I've done (with the carbonated drinks), I've pushed myself to drink a lot of plain water. I just finished a medium sized bottle and now on to the big bottle.
Not that it wouldn't be fun not to go to work tomorrow but I'm flying in a few days time and I don't want to be worried about body scan and what not at the airport when I'm still recovering from my fever. trust me, I know. I was sick on my way home from England last time and it was during the H1N1 out break. -.- You can call me paranoid. 

Ok, buat karangan panjang jua lah disini ani... LOL

imma go now. trying to draw tomorrow's D10: OOTD. I don't usually thought of OOTD. so, this is gonna be a challenge (no pun intended ;P)

I just finished watching this Korean Drama, called Maids.

Jung YuMi was in it. xD
you know, the girl from DongYi.
LOVE HER!

the above I copied from the back of my DVD. hahaha satu saja yg salah; MooYoung wasn't hiding his true identity; he didn't even know who he was! Misleading ini synopsis.
Very intriguing from the beginning and story-line not so bad. sasak level on point. LOL and as for the ending..Well..sigh..bila jua ku suka Korean ani membuat ending cerita durang, kan? I think that ending could be better. 
I like it, I don't love it but you gotta acknowledge to the better 'killing'/'dying' scenes. q(❂‿❂)p  *applause* 

Right now, I'm considering whether I should start watching Rooftop Prince tonight or wait until I got from my Manila trip (which will be on the 13th. EXCITED!!). I know, old drama. I once wanted to watch it coz Micky Yoochun (former DBSK member and now part of JYJ). Now I want to watch it coz Jung YuMi was in it. xD

the problem with the August Doodle Challenge (as I come to realize) isn't exactly 'drawing'.
It's more towards trying to post a Doodle A Day that is more challenging for me.

coz I'm dead lazy to EVEN turn on my laptop, you wouldn't believe!

Day 7: Fave Food
No. it's not because of the dubu guy. I've always love chicken. way before he was born (coz I was born in 1987 and he was born in 1989 ≧◡≦  )

Day 8: Adventure
from the beginning I kept thinking about Harry Potter magical world in London, Orlando, Japan.
but because trying to draw Harry Potter is like me trying to sing to you all Westlife songs in one night, I thought to just draw that cartoon Adventure Time. 
Then I realised, I don't even really watch Adventure Time.
So, finally, I just took my time drawing my beloved HP-related things.
Hoping one day I will get the chance to go to Universal Studio, Japan or the Making of Harry Potter studio tour somewhere in England.
