Hi guys.
I am recovering from a fever caused by my tonsillitis. or "tongsil" as I like to pronounce it. No, not an excuse as to why I'm not making any post. I'm not posting becoz I ran out of topic for June. (▰˘◡˘▰)
Here we are in July, starting the other half of the year. Hmm.. reflection time?
I started off slow this year with blogging; 1 post in January and 1 post in April. and I'm still not sure what drove me to make 12 posts in May. I guess I was just motivated to do so 🤷. I know what drove me with making 11 posts in June; competition with myself. LOL I know, I have issues.
Anyway, reflections..hmmm..
I've done a lot of self reflects this year, in fact, I've been doing that a lot since last year. mostly on things like, "Why is this happening to me?" "Oh maybe it's karma" "I should control myself from doing that/ acting like that" "Not everybody gonna like me but that doesn't mean I should stop being nice" "Don't be too nice though or people may step on you"
Also, I've been thinking a lot about "Cutting people off". I had this thought a lot last year too. I'm not saying I'm gonna be better off without these people or that I'm gonna get lonely since my circle of friends is already so small, but I think, I just wanna be happy. and if cutting people yang continue to bring me heartaches will bring me peace, then, so be it.
Let's talk about Happiness.
to me, shopping, in any type, shape, or form, is my temporary happiness.
What I've been longing for is true happiness; a peace of mind, and a lighter heart.
That's the kind of happiness that I'm looking for.
I'm not sure I'm getting there or not yet but I'm pushing thru. Hwaiting 💪
Speaking of happiness, coming back to this blog bring me a sense of purpose. a sense of purpose leads to accomplishing a certain task. and finishing a task brings me happiness/joy, no matter how small.
I know me posting here doesn't give me any financial income 🙄 but it gives me something to look forward to. It gives me the momentum I need to practice on for my next project. You know, posting at least once a week, preparing notes on what to post, etc. Blogging keeps me busy, it helps me from just looking at my phone for hours at night, it stimulates my brain. and as mentioned above, when my mind feels that sense of accomplishment, I feel happy. 💖
Another part of happiness, I am back to reading!
I finished reading Wonder by R.J. Palacio and I feel accomplished and happy 🤗
Currently reading (already half way thru) Songs About A Girl by Chris Russell. I believe this book has a sequel. I remember seeing it at the book shop but I'm not sure and I haven't Google to be sure.
wow, yo girl can write!
dam!
Ok, i think, that is enough for this post. Thank you for reading this far. 🙇♀️
I'm planning on making a post about my scary experience in Seoul next. So, please anticipate. 😉
Until then, ciao~
. . .
2026, in search of Happiness. If it means enjoying every little trinkets and stationery on the daily, then so be it. Coz temporary happiness, is still happiness.

Feelings (and shit)
was talking with my juniors the other day and we were talking bout 'crushes'.
I was giving an advice to them (not that I'm eligible or anything but ya know..from a senior's point of view to the junior's), especially this one girl who had a 'hardcore-imma-stalk-ya-to-the-worm-hole' kinda crush on someone.
I told them, talk to him. Just talk. find a topic (I mean, you already stalked their profile, there must be something that you guys can talk about, right?) and talk about it.
Why?
Because this way you'll find out whether you really like him (like, whether he's worth the time to 'freak' over) or not.
Reason why I told them the above was because I ruined what could've been a great friendship with the guy I like. I was too busy being 'shy' and 'freakin out' when he was around.
LOL
Oh, we're friends now. Kawan yg only 'hi' and 'bye' bila terserempak. ya know.
it's kinda sad.
So, that experience, I don't want my junior to end up like me.
Screw that 'boys must make the first move' shit. Boys/Guys/Men aren't meant to do the first move anyways. (HAHAHA speaking like a true bitter person ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) )
I mean, if you don't try, then you will never know, right?
Make the first step, ladies.
It's ok
a/n: not that I would. I'm just saying that they should coz I know they are a lot braver than I am. ヽ(^◇^*)/

Lesson Learned 2.015
You learn something new everyday.
I sure learned a lot about myself in recent weeks.
that I am not a complete arse.
LOL
Last Monday I learned that Chinese beliefs that its bad luck to right your name in red ink.
I forced a customer to sign our acknowledgment form with a red ink pen.
She asked me hesitantly whether I have any other colored pen beside the red one that I just lend her. I told her 'no' and she briefly said to me that there's a 'pantang' for them to write in red ink. I was like, 'Oh' and nodded but I was very malas to go to my table to retrieve a different colored pen thus she, ever so reluctantly, signed and with a very obvious pause, write down her name (although she wrote it bersambung2, very unclear) too.
When our transaction was done at the counter and I returned to my table, I straight away told my colleague about what just happened and the colleague, who is also Chinese, told me about the beliefs. and I felt guilty. Like, what if the customer met an unfortunate event after what I just made her do?
Now, I know I don't really belief that but I was guilty all the same and since what happened can't be undone, I do the next logical thing. I put 5 blue colored pen at our counter so that what happened with her won't have to happen to the next person.
I maybe a skeptic but she has her beliefs too. the least I can do is to respect that.
So,
Lesson Learned: always bring blue colored pen when attending customer for signing acknowledgement.
I normally do but i don't know why I didn't that day and had to resort with the red ink pen I saw on the counter. hmm.. sorry, customer. I will try my best not to let that happen again. *scout honor*

People will be people
나도 알아
I know.
since before aku paham erti hidup (aseh! :P), I know.
I know that no matter what, good or bad, people are gonna talk.
As a human being, I can't help but feel super upset when I learned that a certain someone (or two) were/are actually talking behind my back. I know i'm not always a 'saint', and I know about 'karma' too but it still hurts.
What I often do when something like this happened, I tell myself that people are gonna talk. no matter how much you want to make them happy (impress them, whatever), they'll never gonna stop talking about you. Those kind of people don't matter. what was that saying? (menggoogle~~ :P) ah. "Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind" by Bernard M. Baruch.
*nod nod*
but still, sedih ku.
am I that bad of a person?
Sometimes I think that I am.

I know that no matter what, good or bad, people are gonna talk.
- Praising you.
- bad-mouthing you.
- Exaggerate things for you.
- They'll do it all.
