to answer: I actually spent my time journaling and reading. like,  ALOT!

Yes, I'm very into journal layout these days. all thanks to Amanda!

actually, lets us all thank internet connection, without which, we won't be expose to many great things to enhance our creativity!
so, THANK U INTERNET! (yes, yes. sometimes I like to sarcastically thank OUR internet but this time, I am sincerely thankful)

So, onwards.



Amanda made this Kpop Journal thing last year and it reminded me of the time when I was doing my own kind of fav boyband 'biodata' thing. 😂
but before we go 👉 'there', let me show you what I did early December 2019.

Come to think of it, I did all of these when my laptop was 'faulty'! Changing my title from "Kpop Journaling with AmandaRachLee" to "How I spent my time when My laptop was rusak"

I felt guilty at one point, coz I was doing Jaehyun's spread first before I did Onew's. Like, woman, how could you?? to compensate, I did two spread for Onew.

Obviously, I'm talking about the time when I was fanatically obsessed with Westlife.
there was this one book, I made back in 2000/1. It was entirely dedicated to Westlife.

The End of an Era

I should have posted this one first!

but oh well... still in the new year vibe.

I actually have no idea about this end of a decade/era thing. I mean, what is numbers? Every time I hear someone said, "End of an Era" "Start of a new decade" my mind actually sings?!

and of course I know the song! it's Last One Standing by Girl Thing.

I forgot that Jodi is from Girl Thing. Jodi is the wife of Kian Westlife.

in the first verse, lyrics read: "It's the end of an era, the start of a new day" and that is the part yang I sing-a-long to every time I hear someone said "end of the era/ decade"

*after spending time on youtube looking for original MV* man! 2000s had so much one hit wonders!

I should also mention, after understanding what people had been saying about 'End of an Era, start of a new decade', I finally understand this song. the song was released back in 1998 and I was introduced to this song by classmates in 2000s, it took me literally a decade to understand this song! hahahah End of an Era the Start of a new day. 

I have not listen to this song for years! so thanks internet and radio DJs for constantly reminding me about the end of an era. 🙄

2020 Hello

hi guys!
Happy 2020! 🎉🎉🎉

as always, no major 'new year resolution', just something simpple for me; MOVE FORWARD,  A STEP AT A TIME.

I was wondering what post should I do to start of the year, then I thought, I'm lazy, let's just post pictures. 😂

So, here goes.

I did follow the 2020 layout but some of them already filled in, so this is the only one I can share at the moment.

I feel like this is the most 'exact' copy of Amanda's layout that I followed. *pat-my-back-for-not-being-lazy-lol

I skipped Jan Calendar layout tho,

coz I thought I won't need it but now, I think i need it. will do that lay out later today.

but still, I feel so accomplished. and I did this on 1st Jan, so, a good start to the year. 😉

My sister complimented, "lawa jua yoh.." on my IG post. and that is all the validation I needed 😙💛

as for new year's eve, I went to a BBQ at Hasrin's. I took one picture and a video of burning charcoal/ Like, picture taking at its finest. 
We played UNO and Monopoly Deal. 
NYE well spent.

Mulan, March 2020

Hi guys!

live action Mulan is coming! in March 2020.

I am EXCITED to watch this one.

Just like, Aladdin, Mulan is another of my fav Disney movie to watch over and over again without feeling bored.

When the news first came out and it said there will be no dragon but a phoenix instead, I was livid. coz Mushu, the dragon in the animated version, is my fav character! and I remember posting my disagreement over that decision on my FB status.
Only to realize my opinion wouldn't make a different in the slightest. 

Fast forward, July 2019, (I have a lot of things prepared in July it seems LOL).
I came across a thread on Twitter. talking or explaining, why the live action Mulan is what it is.

I didn't screenshot everything, just the beginning. It was very insightful. I'm always a sucker for ancient history, so I appreciate the effort put into this explanation.

also, this guy, playing Fa Zhou, I recognized him from Rush Hour. So, already I decided to watch Mulan becoz I recognized him from Rush Hour. LOL

I don't recognize this lady but I'm looking forward to her playing Mulan too.

I will remind myself to not have high expectation. I don't want to be disappointed. Again, it's only becoz, Mulan is one of my utmost favorite EVER! I got my fav nickname, Vengeance, from Mulan.

I can't wait for March 2020.
