I was taking a break from reading the Book Thief by Markus Zusak
(pasal
that book was from the holocaust era with Hitler and I can't really
continue..for now..)
and decided to do movie marathon.
Twilight Saga.
I borrowed the DVDs from Zawir. though it's
not complete; missing Breaking Dawn part 2, but I already watch that
twice on TV, so I think I can managed to miss it at this marathon.
I was impressed on how very like the book the movies were. suka berabis ku.
this is a whole new level of love of fiction I'm having. after Harry Potter.
and now I want Robert Pattinson.
as Edward. no longer was he Cedric Diggory to me.
He is Edward. and I want my own Edward too!!!!
Now I know how Twilight fans are alike.Edward is the perfect imperfection. it's crazy.
eventhough I refused to imagine Kristen's, Robert's and Taylor's face when I was reading the book, as I watched the movies, they are perfect for these roles, I guess. though Book Bella is so much prettier in my head but that's just me, of course.
We can't all be thinking the exact same thing, can we?
is it just me of the fonts on this text is smaller? or is it because I'm writing so much more now? macam, should I change the font to a slightly bigger font?
anyway, I should really resume reading the Book Thief.
but I've gotten lazy. and I realize how November is drawing to a close and December is coming. and hence, the end of the year. I still have thirteen in a half (the half being the Book Thief) books to read. I know i want to finish them all but suddenly I feel like I can't meet that goal after all.
The feels.
BUT i have three days off next week, hoping to finish at least four books then. Keyword: Hoping.
Let's also hope aku rajin next week. LOL
I am such a lazybum. that much I am certain.

Two downs ...
Hello lovely people...
feels like I've been out of the radar these past few days. WEEKS actually.
blame my current obsession on wanting to meet my goal before the year is up; finishing all my unread novels.
I must've offended one of my close colleagues; she was trying to make empty/bonding conversation couple (give or take) of Fridays ago but I was in the middle of finishing Twilight, so being the absorbed person that I am when I started reading anything (mostly because when trying to read, I need to really just do that, read), I wasn't really into the conversation. Oh, I was aware though. Aware that she wanted to make that empty/bonding conversation but like I said, I'm set on my goals. So, I kinda hoping she'd understand that I just wanted to read my book for the two hours break we were given for Fridays afternoons and I think she did understand coz she concluded the conversation and went back to her table.
and today I noticed that I might have hurt her feelings from my actions; she hardly smile when I talked to her.
I wanted to say that I am sorry for my behavior, wanted so much to explain to her about my goals and whatnot but I guess I don't have to explain myself to her. to anybody, in fact. We're both grown ups (she's a mother of two btw) and if the simplest of things bothers her, then that's not on me. So, I continued to talk to her as per normal. I didn't know if that was enough though. At least, I tried.
anyhoo...
finished two more books last Sunday and Tuesday.
Amazing books.
No magic-magic this time. No blood-blood.
Just pure human stories.
that we all can relate.
I relate to these two books on so many levels I can't even began the list.
It's nice to finally have new images in my head. a much more real one too.
Loves, heartaches and overcomes.
Both stories was set in the UK, so I was more than excited to have some familiar names to read from the book. (UK is my second home before Korea came. LOL)
and let's not forget the slang too. a lot of 'bloody' and 'fcuk' swearing going on.
terkenang daku zaman high school ku. zaman2 mengobsess Westlife (they're Irish though) and wanting SO much to be English (British to you)! hahah Zaman Smash Hits and Top of the Pop. hahah OMG.
anyway...
All in all, a good read; I laughed and shrieked a lot. a lot of shutting the book too psl tertlalu banyak scene yg 'menakutkan'. you know, like when you're watching a movie and the scene was unbearable to watch you just stop the movie? or if you're watching thru cable, you changed the channel until the scene is passed? yeah, I had that too when reading. I'm something, I know. hahaha
Anyway, two down, a few hundreds (an exaggeration) more books to go.
Having a break tonight from books.
but here I am, writing down for this post.
I guess I'm like Danielle De Barbarac; addicted to the written words.
and I don't think that's really a bad thing. xD

Yayy
Yay.. I have finished my Twilight book series
and now I can move on.
hahaha
but I don't know how to move on. or rather, I don't want to move on ahaha.
My mind, right now, is sooo clouded with the images from the book; sparkling vampires, horse-size wolves, snow. dazzling eyes. dimpled smiles. It's a lot to take in, still.
I don't know why but I'm feeling a little guilty towards JK Rowling. felt my loyalty wavering a little too.
I was so obsessed with Harry Potter (both the books and movies) that I told myself nothing can top this obsession.
Clearly, I was wrong after Stephenie Meyer's Twilight (book) series.
I've loved Harry Potter for so long now but I have never, even once imagined on writing my fictions which include any element of Harry Potter magic.
But now,
I'm imagining a storyline that revolve around a half-vampire main character.
argh. I feel so guilty.
I don't know how else to express this.
I'm just...feels like I owe it to Rowling for my 'magical' world.
but then again, she doesn't know that I exist and that I am free to change my mind.
especially after I'm having a hard time digesting her (Rowling's) new 'adult' book, the Casual Vacancy. Sudah ku cuba untuk memahami buku atu but I guess alum ku ready kan baca her other works yg nada envolve the world of Harry Potter.
Free will.
Free reign.
Free to choose.
Erm. I'm not sure where I'm going with this post. I started with rejoicing over me finishing the Twilight series then proceeded to other nonsense about guilt (and probably about loyalty too in subtle way LOL).
I should stop here for now before I blab about how my work life is draining my soul dry this week.
sigh.
I'll just see you in the next post people.
ciao~

Just ...
a/n: this post contain strong words of hatred. caution if you continue to read.
this is very random and I thought about this a lot all day on Friday before I decided to really post it here.
I. Hate. Sulli. (that fakeass maknae of f(x) )
That. Brat.
She. Annoys. Me.
Not gonna post her picture here. I hate her that much.
I thought I'll accept her after memujuk diri ku yg her life, artist life, is not my business.
but after that one time she 'left' on 'hiatus' right in the 3rd week of Red Light promotion, as understanding as I tried to be, I just .. just.
Pastu everybody all welcomy for her at her Promotion for Fashion King. like, she was crying, overwhelmed by fans support. FAKE!ASS! I mean, ok I don't know what's really going on but being Artist is YOUR JOB! and YOU SHOULDN'T BRING PERSONAL MATTER TO WORK! So, if you can be 'sensitive' and cry for fans support after what happened last time with Red Light, you shouldn't have done that shit 'hiatus' in the first place. GAWD. SHE PISSED ME OFF.
and I applauded her in To The Beautiful You?!
MADNESS!
I know I'll be over this soon but for now, I. HATE. HER.

Hi November
Good Morning lovely people. (it's 2:38am now LOL)
I missed Halloween. and dinner.
coz I fell asleep soon after I got back from work.
Yes, it's been a loooonngggggg week.
a lot happened in a week, believe it or not.
I finished reading two books, watched Ouija and hung out with ex-colleagues (not particularly in that order, of course).
last friday (24th Oct), I finished reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
(finally!) and got so intrigued that I downloaded ebooks for the second, third and fourth of the series.
and half-way thru New Moon, I realise I was obsessing over this series. you know, macam aku obsess arah Harry Potter. it's the same kinda obsession. LOL
I finished reading New Moon in two nights (I only read night time since at work I can not really concentrate).
and I continued on Eclipse which took me longer (well longer after New Moon. took me longer finishing Twilight. rupanya you have to push pass that first book to be able to be obsess with this series LOL); three nights, to finish coz I was tiredddd I took pauses in between but being obsess, I insisted on finishing it. hahaha I feel like I was seventeen all over again.
I was supposed to start with Breaking Dawn tonight
buttt since aku tertidur, I start tomorrow - or later.
all this reading via ebook made me realise how much I forever in love with (physical) books. Sama plang saja, reading words but kalau baca from (physical) books is so much .. more .. feel? thats how I feel saja lah. different people different feels. xD
continuing on,
Last Sunday (26th Oct), there was a lunch outing with the ex-colleagues (except Ami. me and her still colleagues :) ).
it was awkward at first, but as time progressed, we ended up having a lot of fun. I remember looking around the table and thought, 'I miss this'. We were once so close but I guess not all close friendship will last. I'm just glad we are all (if not really) in good terms with each other. It was a nice catch-up session. ;)
afterwards, me and Faizah (yes, just us two. among the four yang left the company, I remain close in contacts with Faizah) went to the Mall and liat wayang. ceta Ouija.
I gave it 9/10. LOL generous, I know!
but since Annabelle (which I gave 8/10, another generous rate hahaha)
I feel like ong puteh learned how to make good ghost movies again. the last scariest movie I watched was the Sixth Sense. imagine that. I guess my generosity came from being able to actually understand cerita2 ani. selalunya ghost movie durang ani inda membari paham or ended up on a killing spree saja without ending. well, Ouija was like that too but more tolerable and actually really was just a ghost movie. Thumbs up to the maker. Please continue to make good ghost movies in the future.
then Monday came and all I can think about is tiredness. haha mana inda, everynight after, baca buku(ebook) sampai menyubuh. I hope I give the same kind of dedication when I started going back to school next year. LOL #hopeful
all in all, as tiring as it had been, it was a good week and at work (yesterday already now) it ends nicely; we had makan-makan for my Supervisor's birthday and a junior's leaving. Food is always a happy thing for me. xD
Weekend starts already and I should sleep (it's 3am now). I need to wake up early later to go immigration with my sister.
So, happy weekend everybody. will update soonies. ciao~
