my favorite color

proper greetings this time. 👋🏼

took me a while to start this one coz I was checking whether I have made this kind of post before or not. but couldn't find anything on it. So, here we are.

I found the post. I mentioned my 3 favorite color in here. I'm afraid I'm gonna contradict myself about how Purple isn't Male-related LOL.

My favorite color. hmm 🤔 It goes from liking Lime Green, to Colors, to Purple, to Orange, then to Mint, then anything Pastel, then Yellow. I mean, I don't know how people can have just one favorite color.

The reason why I have so many is becoz, back in high school, I remembered feeling very envy with other friends; they be buying cute items from this Knic Knac shop with their favorite color and i couldn't buy any coz they didn't have that cute thing in my favorite color, Lime Green. Apparently, Green isn't a color for a girl?
I think from that moment on, I try looking for my next favorite color, you know, just in case the no.1 color isn't available.
WHO MADE THE RULE TO ONLY BUY SOMETHING IN YOUR FAVORITE COLOR? AND KALAU NADA YOUR FAVORITE COLOR, YOU KENOT BUY? WHO?!

but that was before. I'm all grown up now and have a shopping problem. BHAHAHAAHA

anyway, my favorite colors. Lets discuss.

Pink

90s Power Ranger. Pink Ranger. Kimberly. oh how I love pink ranger! but I have to mengalah with my cousin, and ended up liking Yellow Ranger. coz she the other female ranger.
Then fast forward to high school. oh how I hate pink. coz a classmate was sooo minat Pink that everything she owned was pink. argh. but I guess I was just jealous LOL coz I wasn't 'supported' to buy whatever I want.
That was then. Now I like pink. in pastel. coz its prettier. rose gold is another shade of pink and is prettier.

Light / Lime Green

ok. this one is funny. I only like it coz I was following my sister. this is also during my highshool period. I remember she had all her stationery and books' wrap in that Lime Green color. and I was following everything she did. coz I always want to be my sister. *cue Ashlee Simpson - Shadow. LOL I think I was in that Lime Green phase during Form 5, Lower and Upper Six.
I stopped liking it tho.
but now I'm accepting it again.

Purple

This was when I began understanding that favorite color is supposed to be your own. and I remember thinking, what can I buy that represent Harry Potter? This was before the existent of Pottermore and its House Sorting. At that time I, as everybody else's too I'm sure, a Gryffindor, which is red but I don't want that to be my favorite color, so I rack my brain and came up with purple coz in book 1, Dumbledore was wearing a Purple robe.
LOL
still one of my favorite color now but the only reason i avoided it, if I can help it is becoz I don't like seeing one color in my wardrobe.

Orange

Onew. I wasn't able to buy official merchandise and I was looking for things that I can relate to Onew. and he was one of the MC on a show and his 'jacket' was orange color (other MCs were wearing diffent color from each other too). so orange.
I seldom choose this color nowadays.

Mint

SHINee World. Official merchandises are expensive as fuck. Suho mentioned recently, "capitalism". dam right it is. anyway, Instead of crying over that official SHINee phone case I can't afford, I ended up buying one that is just SHINee color.
still my favorite now. Its funny, coz this color is associated with 'aesthetic' stationery color for some reason. hence, easier to get my hands on. 👍🏼

Yellow

Now, this is from Pottermore. I was sorted once before (not Pottermore) into Ravenclaw but that was before I started picking colors that have some relation to my favorite things. Ravenclaw is blue by the way. So, Pottermore sorted me into Hufflepuff. My initial feeling was 'so I'm not a Gryffindor worthy' but soon after I'm like HASHTAG HOUSEPRIDE BITCHESSS! lol again, official merchandises are expensive as fucckkk and instead of stressing over that, I bought color that associates with my house color. Yellow.

come to think of it, I once choose yellow coz Onew wore yellow jacket twice. Yes, i'm that crazy. hahaha

Peach 🍑

this is definitely becoz of that Ice Peach tea drink. I don't know what Peach the fruit real color is. I don't think it as pink as the emoji indicates. but I like that color. I think this is the pink that makes me like pink again. Then, I bought the Too Faced Sweet Peach Pallette. then that Nivea Delicious Drop Peach&Vanilla flavor lipbalm. then Jaehyun.

BONUS:

Red

LOL this one is the most random. I only ever pick this color when I'm buying gadget or its accessories. I know it started with that Sony Ericson w760 Walkman I once had. It wasn't entirely red but it accent was. I bought my sony viao, back then, in red coz it matched with my phone. I wanted to buy a red car just so it matched my phone and laptop. I didn't get to tho.
Now, I owned red laptop and a red car. but really, not becoz its my favorite. I can't put this color in my favorite list actually. Red color is more sentimental to me. My dad used to have a red car. Hmm.. I think that is why. That second last sentence, honestly, just pop up to the top of my head. huh



There ya go. What's behind the color that I pick.
but if you see me picking up color that is not in this list, its becoz its the only nice color that I can pick. Why my color not being there stop me from picking it up/ buying the thing, right? If you needed it, you just gonna deal with the color choices the kadai provides. 😜

I have a new favorite!

Hi guys!

I know, I need to catch up with my posts, sooo here we go.

My budd asked "Kenapa ko suka NCT?" and I went, "sigh. I know why ..just, I don't know how to explain" and I proceeded to explain to him WHY. bahahah

For starters, I've always been SM bias. So, anything SM produced, I will end up supporting.
I don't know if anyone remember but I started obsessing over kpop with Super Junior and over time, as do with all obse - you know what? I'm gonna start using the word 'Passionate' instead of  'Obsess' from now on - as do with all things you passionate about, you will become more knowledgeable of your passion, as in, I know what SM Entertainment is and which idol is under SM and everything fall into places from then on.

You know, of course, I became a Shawol next. I'm still an ELF, just not as passionate as I once were. I'm also a Jumping Boa, MeU, Sone, EXO-L, Cassies, ReveLuv, and NCTzen. Like I said, SM bias.

why I'm passionate about NCT at the moment?

There was a time when SHINee was busy promoting in Japan and they were absent from Korean stage for almost 2 years. When they returned and start promoting in Korea again, Onew said, in his very monotone and stoic face, "I will chase who ever ran to other groups while we were away". and I remember posting "Damn! i should have fangirling over NCT!" supaya cOnew chase aku lah tu ah.. i guess, I became a true NCT fangirl after that?

Um. pause. i found the video. Onew said that at 3:04



umm..i had secondhand embarrassment watching this. Even Taemin can't. like, why am I a Shawol? the fuck is this shit?  I. LOVE. THEM! 💚💚

ok, let's continue.

By that point NCT already began promoting and I have listened to their songs and some are such jam! as mentioned in previous post, a good song IS a good song. 

I think the first song I really listened to is Cherry Bomb, not a big fan. but lucky i have a habit of downloading full album. Whiplash is my fav song from that mini album. 



and then Fire Truck happened. SHINee's Key was one of the MC in one of the music show when NCT was promoting that song, soooo, you understand why I can sing a long to "ey yea yea hands up if you feeling the vibe now" LOL 

anyhoo everything kinda just, once again, fall into places with my passion with NCT from here onward. oh! and Boss! by NCT U. This song has been my jam for a while. even up until this week. LOL



Of course, I'm still a Shawol. and then 2017 happened and SHINee kinda slowed down, and then by end of 2018, Onew enlisted for their mandatory army service. Key and Minho followed early 2019. and now only Taemin left, being our little baby SHINee. This also mean, I'm missing SHINee a lot and I needed new songs to listen to. 

SM kinda "I gotchu fam" me and continue to promote NCT and also Red Velvet a lot this year. and you bet I listened to those new songs. and for some 'hype' reason, I became a passionate NCTzen? 
Maybe you are unaware but SM is promoting NCT 127 to the US this year and they collaborated with a singer I'm aware of,  Ava Max, with So Am I. of course, NCT 127 has a couple of songs in English; Regular and Highway to Heaven. 






I heard this song being played on the local radio station a number of times now and I felt proud for what ever reason.🤗🤗🤗


Even NCT Dream had a collab with HRVY with Don't Need Your Love for SMStation.




I mean, tell me these aren't good songs? Like...

So, why is NCT suddenly becoming my new favorite? hmm.. I don't thing this is sudden. I've always been a fan and only now that SHINee is at a pause that I'm giving them a chance. No, I don't think I'm moving on to becoming NCTzen like I did when I was an ELF. I'm just appreciating new very good songs at the moment.

I hope this story time is fun to read. and I apologize if there're any mistake in naming the correct NCT sub groups. even I can't keep up. 😅😅

Tell me what song are you listening a lot to at the moment? 🤔 to be really honest, I listen a lot to SHINee, EXO, and NCT songs these days. so, again, call me a multi fandom onnie/noona, song wise. 😉

I just recently come across the sub-unit WayV. and I'm not sure if they have any songs out. but I'm guessing they are doing the Chinese version of the existing NCT songs? Maybe? I'm not sure.
