Legend of Korra

I've been wanting to watch Legend of Korra since that first episode on Nickelodeon.

but that was years ago. I even forgotten about it until recently and finally managed to update myself with that series.

I've been downloading the series from Book 1 since two weeks ago. Now, I am up till Book 4 episode 11. I can't seem to find episode 12 & 13. It annoys me. 

I've watched up to Book 4 episode 5. 

and I have fallen in love with this series from the beginning. it's funny, action packed and just as awesome, if not more, as Avatar:The Last Airbender.
but just one thing, the characters been throwing 'I Love You's' macam apa. -.- I know it's just katun and I shouldn't read too much into it but still. Keep it to the minimum? Not that my complain would do any good since Book 4 is already finished airing that week when I started downloading Book 1. hahaha outdated banar aku atu. :P

ah well.. I am up to date now. 

and obsessing over this.

Football

Let me just state here that I am a 'verbal' supporter of Arsenal.

I never actually watch any of their matches. I tried but not even 10 mins and I changed the channel already. :P

So, when Kuch asked us to accompany her to watch her fiance play football, I was ...not feeling it. But I agreed to accompany her anyway for that was friends are for, right?

I planned on just being on my phone the entire game but as I sat there and the game began, I was like, 'I might as well watch'. and I did.

Now, I am not an expert. at all. but I kinda know a thing or two about football. and what do you know, I became so immersed in the game that it got me stressed. a fun kind of stress and it had me understand how other football supporters must've felt when they were watching a match. it was intense. the crowd was awesome (walaupun a tat bit offensive on my behalf), the cheering, the disappointment, the tension, the booing to the other team, these all add up to the fun. the unfairness of that referees though. Like, where the hell did they put their eyes on? I'm not saying the team that I was rooting on was any good but I'm bias towards si Kuch thus her fiance's team was a much better player than the other team. hahaha In conclusion, it was a stressful game but at the same time my stress reliever too. it's that Hot and Cold situation thing. I can't explain it. LOL

I was just glad I accepted her invitation. I had the most fun in a while for my Saturday night out. 
plus, Geng Keras was complete after like, two months?
It was nice seeing and laughing and 'cursing' with everybody. ahaha

 

Till the next game?
Although I think si Kuch was a bit embarrassed with us being 'over' reacting albeit supportive. hahaha sorry Kuch. we'll try to behave the next time you invite us. if ever. xD

Throw Back Saturday?

brief: I was cleaning my room (used to be my sister's too) two weeks ago and we found a lot of things. hahaha most are already crashed and burnt by now. (this should also explain my 'findings' on last Thursday punya post)

My love for colors began early.

and it was shown thru my school books cover all thru high school.

during form 6,  I had the habit of buying lots of wrapping paper but by that time I no longer have books that need covering (we mostly use full scape papers and files/folders). I used all those wrapping paper over the years to wrap presents instead. I used the last one last June. hahaha like, 7 years after I left form 6. :P

I'm glad that I did this during high school. i think masa atu the important thing was 'sapa punya lapis buku paling lawa'. hahaha 

ah well..good old times.

the IN thing

So, there's this IN thing right now; the easy peel nail polish. not sure if it's the brand but the stickers had MY MALAEKA on it.

I was intrigued and bought one too.
It was easy to peel off alright.

(easy peel like everyone was saying)

It's just ...it cost me BND6. for 8ml. like, WTF?!

even SilkyGirl's, SkinFood's, Etude's, FaceShop's, and Holika's nail polishes cost me less than BND5/BND7 each and they're more than 11ml each! like WTH?!

the fact that this easy peel off nail polish couldn't even last a day (becoz the polish is glue-like, it peeled itself slowly as I made constant contact with water) tick me off. 

 (almost half the day gone and it peels off on its own at the edge)

to me, nail polish are supposed to last longer. they are meant to stay longer. Not that I wear mine often but when I do, i like them to stay at least two days after application (coz normally I got bored after two days and removed them off via nail polish remover).

what become of my nails when i peeled them nail polish off?

dry-looking and scarred, like the nail polish peeled off a thin layer of nails too. 
I don't like it. 

I know the nail polish remover isn't that great either but at least it doesn't make my nails looked like they've been scraped.

I was just disappointed with this product. Not worth my $6 and it's very small. the phrase "untuk main-main" ticked me off even further.
I know why it was the IN thing now; for muslims women who bought this, they just find it convenient. they could easily peel the nail polish off before prayer. and re-applying them again afterwards. peel off again for the next prayer. re-applying. peel off. re-applying. 
Macam, why make life so hard? Why not do what I do; using it during 'the time of the month' saja? Easy. applied once, then remove them three four days later? instead of applying-peel off-redo-ing every few hours. a day? 
why not?

Finally

I finally figure out who GoGo Tomago (from Big Hero 6) 

reminded me off when she did her skate thing;
c Cappy from Robots.

Cappy did that skate move thing when they were fighting the bad guys and when I saw Tomago 'skates' in the Big Hero 6 movie, i kept thinking I've seen that move before.

and now I know it's from Cappy.

Not saying Tomago copied Cappy. I'm just saying that Tomago reminded me of another character.

Happy For Sungmin

I was 'cleaning' my external HD last Saturday, 13th Dec

and I came across the only episode of TvN TAXI that I had; Sungmin, Luna and Jessica were in it. 

I was a little upset seeing Jessica there; listening to her talk about her trainee days with SNSD. You all know how she got kicked out few weeks ago, right? So, yeah. She's my least fav in SNSD btw. ahaha surprise2 for me to be feeling sad about her not being a SNSD member anymore. 

anyway, long story short, I finished cleaning and went on to browse IG on my phone. then I saw it.

Someone (a fanaccount) post Sungmin's wedding picture. 

I completely forgotten all about it. seeing him on TAXI only reminded me of how he used to be one of my fav in SuJu.

and then I cried.

Tears of happiness. 

really, it was of happiness. like how I feel when I saw Nicky's and Shane's wedding pictures.

I think these idols deserve happiness.
I know I said this idol is my future husband and what not
but let's be real for a sec. I. don't. have. a. fcuking. chance. with. them. EVER.
hahaha awu, sadar ku. 
it's just fun having something to be obsessed with, you know. (It gives me something to think about other than why am I still single. or something. hahaha)
oh well, the new obsess fans don't understand this, yet. But trust me, as you get older, when your perspective changed, then you'll understand my feelings.

Been trying to finish this Cinderella Girl by Carin Gerhardsen. it's like me watching CSI, Criminal Minds, NCIS, and Law & Order all at the same time. Creep, horrid and not peaceful. Sigh. I may not be able to finish it at all. I should consider reading the other books first. 

 why did I buy this book in the first place?

Happy Song 2014

I don't know if I ever had a happy song before ..never actually announce that a song is my happy song

until I listened to Kyuhyun's mini album.
a brief info; Kyuhyun is the maknae from the biggest Kpop boyband (in my opinion), Super Junior.

but when i listen to this, 깊은 밤을 날아서 (Flying, Deep In The Night)




I declared that this is my Happy Song. mcm, when i was listening to it, i imagined myself doing the cha cha dance. LOL too much information :P and i don't even know what the song means, yet!

I think i already know he'd be doing ballad for his solo but I still wanted to listen to it coz his voice is amazing. I've always love his voice in SuJu, SuJu-M and SuJu-KRY. Love Love Love is voice. mcm lulling lullaby. Inda ku tau lagi cana kan explain how much and why i love his voice. hahaha

I wonder how I'll be when Onew finally decided to do his solo. mcm, sawan kali. bahahaha! Let's not dwell with that now. We'll get there when we get there, yes? YES!

haha anyway, worth the pre-order of Kyuhyun mini album. xD

Movie Marathon

So, I went movie outing last Thursday and Friday.

Thursday night I watched MockingJay part1 with Faizah. she bawa me along with her company outing actually. Free what. LOL

and I so love the movie! like, I can't even begin to tell you how much! A+++

Now I have to wait for the second part which will be out on Nov 2015. I hope they change the date to earliest possible. like, next month. hahaha I am that impatient.

On Friday, i watched MockingJay part1 again with Zawir. 
still an awesome movie to watch for the second time! 

and after that we watched Big Hero 6.

I wanted to watch the damn thing becoz my sister and brother recommended it. they said, 'Baymax is cute!' 'Awesome lah'. Baymax is cute alright. but the part yg aku sakit hati was how I was almost crying in two/three scenes! awesome apanya?! sedih polangggg.. 
but ok lah. it was an awesome movie to watch. I love how the city of San Fransisco was merged with Tokyo in that movie. Muka durang urg puteh, tapi nama durang Japanese (not all characters). annoyed ku awal2, but towards the end, it didn't even matter. it's just a name. A++ for action pack cartoon!!

the obligatory book nerd

So, i mentioned in the previous post that I hate book series but feel like i have the obligation to read ALL of the series.

one example;
Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard.

When I started with the first book, Pretty Little Liars, I didn't know that it was actually a series book until I went to the bookstore again and found that there are 2 more books related to the first one. Aku beli those two books and after that, I was hooked.

 the rest of the PLL books that I owned

I finished book 12, Burned sometime last year (I think) and found out that book 13, Crushed was already out and book 16, Vicious is coming out soon (Dec 12th 2014).

there was long pause in reading between 'arcs' for me (Sara Shepard made the book in arcs; arc 1 [book 1-4], arc 2 [book 5-8], arc 3 [book 9-12] and arc 4 [book 13-16] ) and currently I am up till arc 3. 

 arc 1 [book 1-4]

 arc 2 [book 5-8]

 arc 3 [book 9-12] 

and 

 arc 4 [book 13-16].

I haven't seen any of the three-already-out arc 4 books being sold here in Brunei. 

my pauses between arc 1 and 2 was because I have to fly to KL (not really) to find the books for arc 2. then the pauses between acr 2 with arc 3 was because I contemplated whether or not to continue reading this series which of course I ended up reading them. Now, I'm in agony of wanting to read the fourth arc. four books total. already in my list of books to buy in Singapore. ada ku cari di KL last September but didn't find them plus the sells person in that book store sucks (not even trying to be polite coz they didn't too).

So, now, I hope they have it at Kinokuniya bookstore in Singapore. I remembered last two years I went there, the sells person was VERY helpful. Expecting the same service from them next year.

Me is lazy

I know I told myself that I'd finished at least 4 books this weekend.

I also said 'if aku rajin' which brings us to this post.

ahaha I wasn't rajin thus I ended up finishing only One book and it sorta doesn't count coz I started reading on Wednesday and finished it on Thursday. before the weekend. So, doesn't quite counts. 

that book was called Monstrous Beauty by Elizabeth Fama.

It was a good read. I bought it pasal covernya Mermaid. I've always have a fascination over mermaid, thanks to Disney but this book is a whole new level of mermaidness. like, i think the Pirate of the Carribean 4th movie version of mermaid is far more accurate than the Disney version.
and it talked about a mother's love. so, that a bit touching. a mother's love conquers all. 

I started reading Blood Magic by Tesa Gratton on Friday night 

and I only passed page 32. No, it's not boring, the book is actually very intriguing. it just, I feel the need to laze around this weekend. just, that. 

(after Googling for the above  Blood Magic photo, i found out that this book actually is a series. -.- I love series books, i honestly do. what i don't like about them is that, they made feel like i have to follow thru with the next book. like it's an obligation or something. I know i don't have to if i don't want but I HAVE to. you know what i mean?! ugh! now I need to put this one in my list of books to buy in Singapore next year. and her, Tessa Gratton's, website is awesome! check it out here!)

Instead, I played my games on my phone, watched another round of Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix movie and even started on my 'old' anime DVDs that i bought, like, maybe, two years ago. (LOL. I had the habit of buying things and left it there to dust) i have 4 box sets of DVDs that are still plastic sealed. I opened the one called 'Working' and started watching that till episode 7. I actually let it run till episode 8 but i wasn't concentrating at all (playing games on my phone again) thus that doesn't count. I shall try and continue watching later.

for now, let me download Kyuhyun and Nicole mini album. 

hopefully internet connection stays awesome.
