this is the book that I finished reading in a day.

such  a rare acomplishment. I was so proud of myself. yay me!

and as what I had done to the previous book that I share, I'm going to share you a tiny bit of what I 'manage' to capture.

Flying Off

the last time I fly was like in 2012.

almost two years!

So, I'm flying off to KL soon.

even bought new passport cover. its SHINee-colored passport cover.

my old one is kinda ...old. 

bought it in 2008 during my trip to Thailand.

I just thought its time to change.

I will post my 'adventure' when I get back.

this is a calender. the year is almost over but we can still use the pictures for other things.

but the schedule book is awesome. I can be use forever. like, really.

Yeah, I made two kadai happy for those few days I went there. LOL I was so caught up in the moment when I bought them.

11th Sep

I was back to work the day after my birthday (I'm always on leave on my birthday ;) ).

and being the nice person that they are, my colleagues decided to surprise me with a cake PLUS a birthday song. they meant well, of course, but I was embarrassed. 

 
I never like attention. not publicly like that. but i blew the candles at the very end just to give people a show.

it was a very pretty (and yummy) pink cake.

thank you all for your kind thoughts. hugs.

BUT

one person (or two. or three) had to be a menace and 'wrap' my car. 

Jauh sudah ku park tu ah, sanggup durang mencari bah di mana kereta ku..I know they meant it for the fun of it, so, malas tah ku jua kan marah2 (marah2 coz i was the one yg had to 'clean it up'). 

I kinda like the gesture pulang. like, 'they remember my birthday' kinda squeal. 

although, after I posted this on my IG, people went 'Happy Birthday' on me. I want to correct them yg it was actually a 'belated' but malas ku menaip ah. Ended up, I just thank them. it did feels like my birthday all over again. So, thank you guys~!

a/n: this would be the second year they did this to my car. I'm not going to bring my car for the whole of September next year. muahahaha

10th Sep

I have turned 27!!!

no, i wasn't that excited but I'm sure as hell not going to deny it anymore.

anyhoo..

utk memulakn cerita, I just wana share a short version of how my day went on during the 10th of Sep.

it didn't start off well. I spent half my morning at the workshop 

coz my car broke down the night before. but even that wasn't all bad; I finished reading my book The Moment Collector by Jodi Lynn Anderson that day (which is a very rare accomplishment these days).
and since it was my birthday, my family members were generous and gave me money as birthday present, as a way to pay for my broken (now fixed) car. I can stop saying 'alhamdulillah'. I was somewhat lucky that day despite the broken (now fixed) car. SO thank you family members! I love you!

then, during dinner, I was given a birthday surprise by two beloved friends; Bazilah and Zawir. I cried. and I got lovely presents from them too. thank you lovelies.

pastu, we spent some 'wasting time till 1am' time at the empire. did you know you can just walk in there eventhough you are not guest at the hotel? No? well, now you do. 

all in all, it was a good birthday. I wouldn't wanna have it any other way.

Onew's back!!

my baby is back!!

after such a long recovery weeks! 

finally he's back, all recovered.

and SHINee is making a Japanese comeback with Downtown Baby and it felt so nice to finally hear Onew's voice. 





No, I didn't cry. Laughing plang coz I thought Onew was having too much fun in the video.  I meant the part when he was holding the lego gun scene with Key.

Reading is Fun

I finished this book couple of weeks ago. It was a fun read and an eye opener. a lot of perspectives too. made me feel lucky that I already lived in a Muslim country.  i know there are a lot more sentences that I like but these are a few that i managed (when I say 'managed' I mean, the one that I 'rajin') to take.

this is true. in Brunei particularly. when you work as a banker or work as a clerk in a govt offices, people would often say, "ok jua tu" and I always thought 'why wouldn't it be ok?' why can't people just say, "alhamdulillah". Luckily for me, most of my cousins (the fav anyways) are all very supportive and nice. 

this one hit home real hard. its exactly how I feel on first day of Syawal.

Just give it a read and you'll love it.

Bridgit Mendler's Ready or Not was my fav for a while but last couple of days ago, I went and found myself a new Ready or Not by Britt Nicole. Britt Nicole's is my fav right now. :D

No, the SHINee's one was never my fav. I like it but not a fav. I like it a lot more when I see a Live version of the song (with the SHINee boys running around having fun to the song xD) but no. Not a fav.

I guess, I still liking it a lot more when I listen to a song with a language that I can understand. Korean songs are great, don't get me wrong but when I listen to an English song for example and at the same time understanding the lyrics that goes along with the melody/music, that just hit home. 

Maybe I should resume my Korean class? but ...malas ku bah.. mun ganya so I can understand songs, might as well I don't. 

for now, I just wanna do something thats gonna help me in the future. God knows, I spent too much on wasting time. :S time to start again us. BE PRODUCTIVE.

or I can just go with the flow. that works fine too.

I would love to share a few examples to let you guys know what I'm talking about but that would bit the purpose of a 'diary' which is synonym with 'secret'. So, I won't be sharing anything.
