quick update on the blogspot-not-loading thingy: I confirmed that it's my internet connection. Coz, yesterday, when I wanted to update my blog, it refused to load the page. and today, it was ok again. Sooooo...current-internet-provider, bye!

a little too late coz it's already the third week of Raya? i think? All I know is, our house already cleaned of any Hari Raya trace. wawawa
This year's Raya is a bit sad coz my baju raya arrived late.
📣📣 STORY TIMEEEEEE 📣📣
I decided this year that I'm going with the ready-made saja, coz you know, I don't have to paning2 pikir design apa mau buat.
I purchased from Zalora.com on 17th May, received ordered at around 10am on 22nd May, I did quick fittings and they were all too big (I ordered XXL and, rupanya, I'm not size XXL LOL!), went to Zalora.com app to request exchange at around 11ish am, and quickly went to a specific courier service for drop off at around 1ish pm, THAT VERY SAME DAY 22nd MAY!
I only received respond from Zalora.com that 11ish am, them acknowledging my request.
I was panicking when I didn't received any respond by 30th May; they said request would take at least 3 days to be processed, and I was giving them grace period of 8 DAYS!
but of course, I was being understanding, you know, festive traffic and all that cheese.
Finally received an email from zalora.com on 2nd Jun, they just received my returned package. and I was like, "what the actual fuck?" I sent 22nd May and you received 2nd Jun? what?!
on 3rd Jun zalora.com sent another email to me saying my items are on their way.
🙄
by now, I was already so done.
I actually went to SF Express (that specific courier service) on the 4th Jun, to try my luck, to at least ask. coz I've been trying to call them since 3rd Jun but their phone rang a few times and after that, cut off. like, what even? but when I arrived at their office, they already closed.
I tried again on the 5th Jun but still no one answering the phone. I got pissed and didn't bother stressing anymore.
Raya fell on 6th Jun in Brunei, so sis redha and pakai baju lama sja beraya. 😭
It was a long holiday here in Brunei for Hari Raya, we were given 3 days public holidays, obviously, I didn't want to pressure SF Express and just waited till 10th Jun.
10th Jun arrived and I actually logged onto my Zalora account and found out that my parcel already arrived in Brunei on 3rd Jun 8ish pm.
like, why didn't I check this thing earlier? LOL my baddd~~
So, I went to SF Express, they were opened, I showed the guy at the collection counter the screenshot I took, and he was actually too calm for my liking.
He checked on his computer and tried to tell me what I already know ("oh, we received the item on 3rd June malam and we-") and I just ✋.
I was surprised at how calm I was when I raise my hand like ✋, stopping him and said, smiling, "can I collect now?" to which he replied, "yes, you can collect today. just give me some time to find your package". I smiled, "thank you". MY CUSTOMER SERVICE ASS AT WORK BITCHES!
I don't think I waited long, maybe 5 minutes top, and I received my package! I quickly left before my anger raise from the depth of my guts.
Now, let me tell you why I need to rant:
*clears throat
- I understand that it was Hari Raya season and it was hectic closer to the date, the least they can do is give customer a call if they couldn't deliver them to their doorstep. I mean, yeah, maybe ada customer yang being fussy as fuck about that but I'm sure I'm not the only one yang willing to collect my items on my own COZ IT'S MY BAJU RAYA DAMMIT!
- that guy at the counter. THE 👏 AU 👏 DA 👏 CI 👏TY 👏! dude, my parcel arrived on 3rd Jun, 7 days later, here I am in front of you, already in the 5th day of Raya wearing old baju, SF Express didn't even bother to give me a call that you've been keeping my items/package for 6-7 days, AND YOU WANT TO GIVE ME EXCUSES AS TO WHY THIS IS HAPPENING? boy ✋, stand up, and quickly get my package before I blow that place up.

I know, ada lagi urang yang lebih susah dari aku, I should be grateful I still have decent baju to wear on Hari Raya.
What I learned from this?
- lain kali, order awal lagi sikit if it's for Raya
- supaya dapat exchange far more quickly
- or, check size measurement banar2. last year I ordered from a brand Zalia and the size XL was too fit on me. This year I ordered from brand Lubna, and thought I should order XXL so it'd be a little loose but damn! Different brand has different measurement. So, check that section thoroughly
- Zalora.com still deliver fast to Brunei, within 3-5 working days. I think it's just the exchange that took forever. or maybe it's just during Hari Raya. I have never exchange anything for the last 5-6 times purchasing from them. So, I wasn't aware of that process. and I chose Hari Raya to test that process. Brilliant.
- I almost menyamal but I have 2 items in my basket right at this moment. LOL~!
anyway,
my anger subsides when I returned to work on the 12th Jun and asked Faizah to take my OOTD. wawawa
first two was taken by Faizah, the third obviously not. No idea when the official OOTD with that baju will be done. maybe this coming Friday. it will be up on my IG when done. 😉
hows your Hari Raya so far? I hope better than mine. Mine wasn't bad, I just, lazy. LOL I have other things to focus on 😉

ReplyDeleteSecondly, I can't deal with regular post office.. Many times they screwed up for me too Idk why. They like to keep things for a long time until we complain then we send. WHY??? Ahhhh!! So they held your package for like a week or so la? Usually I would just sabar if it is free shipping but if we pay, I think we have the right to complain? Like, we pay them?!?! >:(
Perhaps we shd start ordering way before.. But nice dresses are to be released way closer to the Raya day.. Ahhhh!! The dilemma!! And it is true that there are more unfortunate people out there and we have to be grateful.. :" Perhaps what we feel is injustice bcs we pay =/= we get.
