Two downs ...

Hello lovely people...

feels like I've been out of the radar these past few days. WEEKS actually.
blame my current obsession on wanting to meet my goal before the year is up; finishing all my unread novels.
I must've offended one of my close colleagues; she was trying to make empty/bonding conversation couple (give or take) of Fridays ago but I was in the middle of finishing Twilight, so being the absorbed person that I am when I started reading anything (mostly because when trying to read, I need to really just do that, read), I wasn't really into the conversation. Oh, I was aware though. Aware that she wanted to make that empty/bonding conversation but like I said, I'm set on my goals. So, I kinda hoping she'd understand that I just wanted to read my book for the two hours break we were given for Fridays afternoons and I think she did understand coz she concluded the conversation and went back to her table.
and today I noticed that I might have hurt her feelings from my actions; she hardly smile when I talked to her.
I wanted to say that I am sorry for my behavior, wanted so much to explain to her about my goals and whatnot but I guess I don't have to explain myself to her. to anybody, in fact. We're both grown ups (she's a mother of two btw) and if the simplest of things bothers her, then that's not on me. So, I continued to talk to her as per normal. I didn't know if that was enough though. At least, I tried.

anyhoo...
finished two more books last Sunday and Tuesday.

Amazing books.
No magic-magic this time. No blood-blood.
Just pure human stories.
that we all can relate.
I relate to these two books on so many levels I can't even began the list.
It's nice to finally have new images in my head. a much more real one too.
Loves, heartaches and overcomes.
Both stories was set in the UK, so I was more than excited to have some familiar names to read from the book. (UK is my second home before Korea came. LOL)
and let's not forget the slang too. a lot of 'bloody' and 'fcuk' swearing going on.
terkenang daku zaman high school ku. zaman2 mengobsess Westlife (they're Irish though) and wanting SO much to be English (British to you)! hahah Zaman Smash Hits and Top of the Pop. hahah OMG.
anyway...
All in all, a good read; I laughed and shrieked a lot. a lot of shutting the book too psl tertlalu banyak scene yg 'menakutkan'. you know, like when you're watching a movie and the scene was unbearable to watch you just stop the movie? or if you're watching thru cable, you changed the channel until the scene is passed? yeah, I had that too when reading. I'm something, I know. hahaha

Anyway, two down, a few hundreds (an exaggeration) more books to go.

Having a break tonight from books.
but here I am, writing down for this post.
I guess I'm like Danielle De Barbarac; addicted to the written words.
and I don't think that's really a bad thing. xD

. . .
