the Last Airbender. Book 1: Water

watched this with Kuch, Zoey n Judin.
on the 5th Aug at 11:40pm. yup, aku majal kn liat mlm atu jua. tym premiere. HAAHAH!

anyways, am gona break this down using 1,2,3.. xP

1. I was REALLY disappointed! i guess i expected too much of the movie. but if i pushed pass the disappointment and my knowledge of the storyline from the cartoon, it think it's a great movie lah..

2. Firebender - Fire Nation - Indian
Earthbender - Earth Kingdom - Chinese
Waterbender - Water Tribe - white people/ urg putih
Airbender - Air Nomad - undecided. cMonk Gyatso looks African though but cAang looks
like urg putih.

3. my Logical thinkin (kira, kes menyamankn ati lah ni xP)
* Firebender - Indian - dark skin; because they play with fire. nda eh, bukan Racist.
* Different races/skin color, ie, Chinese, Indian and White People (funny, nada urg Malay
kh??) etc..because those Four Nations equals to the entire World. Kira, if you see the map
kn, instead of having African continent etc, it shows Fire Nation in one continent and Earth
Kingdom at the other. So, it's logical lah there are many type of races. Kn? unlike rh
katunnya, smua cina.

4. What's with the way the pronounciation of the name???
* Aang. it's supposed to sound like, 'aeng' 'aing' something. NOT 'Ang' as in like 'Angkuh' WTH?
* Sokka. pronounced sa-ka instead of so-ka.
* Iroh. pronounced ai-ro instead of e-ro.
Seriously, don't you people do some homework??

5. I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

6. but, walau bagaimanapun, I'm still rooting for Book 2: Earth. I wana see Toph. (cemana kh drg menyabut tu krg xP)

7. Appa and Momo are two of the characters that am fully satisfied. xD

8. This is exactly how I feel towards Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire the Movie. too much expectation, then got crashed!.. ahah oh well...

9. the upside; the cast that played Zuko and Katara played their role well. even Sokka's. they should've put more of Sokka's snide remarks on EVERYTHING. his character was what makes me watch Avatar: the Last Airbender in the first place. Sokka is soo funny.

10. I TOTALLY forgot yg the guy who played Sokka was the guy yg play Jasper in Twilight. ahah padahal, aku yg merista tu rh cKuch. thanx Kuch, for reminding me. xP

11. what else? I think that's it for this post. will post something else on the next calender date.

12. Ramadhan is coming. have I ever told you that i love the feeling that i get during the nights of Ramadhan? No? well, now you know. ;)
