frying pan!! or dalam bahasa Brunei nya, parimpan.
hahaha
and I have never wanted to hit someone in the head with a frying pan before. until this movie.
I watched this new movie Pan at our local cinema,
starring Hugh Jackman who played Blackbeard.
It's a story about the beginning of Peter Pan. before that story where he met Wendy.
I wasn't expecting much when I watch Pan, so I find it very interesting and touchy, especially towards the end.
but it isn't about the movie that I decided to make a post of this
it was actually about some very offensive actions that some mother and daughter did that made me post this;
not even half thru the movie, these two people stood up and after that changed to the empty seats in front of their previous seats (we sat at the top most seat (Row A), basically the best seats and they changed to seat (Row B) ). and noticing their action, suddenly i was conscious.
It was the mother (who sat next to me) who stood up first and I saw they contemplated for a minute than took the row B seats. then Zawir was like, "Pindah duduk durang ah" and I said "Yeah" and remember feeling really offended and embarrassed.
Earlier before the movie, me and Zawir had our dinner at Burger King and our burgers had onion rings in it.
So, I was thinking, was it my breath? was it stinking too much for the mother to move seat?
or
was it my quiet laughter? yes, i have learned to control my 'barking' laugh to a quiet, shy laugh when I'm in the cinema.
Although I still enjoy the movie and was really into it, every time I cast my eyes to those two beings, it made me wonder what i did wrong?
I even almost confronted them when the movie ended! like, i was that embarrassed and did not appreciate their offensive manner!
But after that, as we walked out of the cinema, I thought, it's not me. it's just that mother being 'annoyed' with me somehow. She's the one with the problem, not me.
If I stink, I am sorry.
If i laugh too much or giggle at every little bit (coz I'm probably some crazy nutter who cannot control my imagination), I am not sorry for that.
Coz, lets face it 'mother' of someone. if you want peace and quiet while watching a movie in a public cinema, I suggest, you don't.
I suggest, it is better for you to watch them at home. later, when the HD version of the movie is release in DVD format, yeah?
Because what you did was very offensive. and no manner.
I know I am to blame if i have bad breath but if its because of my laughing, that's just..go home, woman!
. . .
a/n: I could go on about how maybe she had some OCD and I shouldn't be saying things about her but still, I have never been so humiliated in public! and I am sure to go on about this again when I'm reminded of it. #MannersIsForAll
. . .
I also have hard time to believe that so many people and uncles aunties in public are really really being like that as well, here. They would look at me, staring at me and my outfits (I am always being very careless with my clothes) with that stare that almost look like it is saying 'what the hell with that shorts and slippers'.. I have so many stares from strangers around me; the weird ones and the humiliating ones. And I can tell you that I have learned not to care about them. It feels better for me when I think about it that they are amazed at me and my style (though sometimes I think that I look so horrible lol but I didn't care). Anyway, those manners shows who they actually are and none of it explains about you. =D thumbs up!!
ReplyDeleteAbout the jelly, I don't know whether you hear about swallow globe jelly powder brand? It is a very simple product and very easy (and yummy) to make jelly, or agar agar here people said. You can stroll on supermarket on your next visit there and try to buy one. You only need few tbsp of sugar and water, boil it for few mins and leave it in fridge when it is cool. =D
