but then someone cleared things out and said (or texted) it was actually Jin Dachuan.

Feb the second

Geng Keras had another get together.

I wasn't actually able to go in the beginning but seeing as I wanted to give Kuch presents before she fly off, I came jua. walaupun aher.

When I sampai, they all had already started eating and watching some singing competition via Buzz new laptop. I shamelessly joined eating; Pizza and PuffLuva.

but after a while, I suggested we watch something else, coz as much as I love singing (watching or listening), it get a little too much.

Kuch suggested Barbie. among other suggestion yg I couldn't remember anymore.

and what a laugh it turned out to be!

We stumbled upon this Barbie Life in a Dreamhouse series. We clicked the one with the longest hour on the clock so we didn't have to constantly click a window, you know, and started watching and laughing insanely. and I mean that, insanely!
the series are each very short and the story was mostly about Barbie (duh) and friends going about their 'famous' life style or the sort.
the funny thing is, they know that they are dolls, made of plastics, even their fire is made of plastic. their logic is so katun! like, it's just a toy! and their appliances are mostly bigger than they are. Like, the girls mascara is so big! you have to watch it to see the funny that I am talking about.

and look at what we have in common with one of the series?

I've been downloading the series just for the sake of it. 

and even become so engross that I bought Barbie's lollipop!

While I was browsing ebay, I even came across this!

it's moschino btw. I saw Tiffany from SNSD wore it once. 
Kuch told me to buy a few since in Barbie, they had the habit of throwing away their vain mirrors.
Ok, ching, I'll do just that. hahaha

I've been wanting to download some more of the Barbie series but my internet connection is sooooo awesome that I have to put my wants on hold for the time being and just watch the ones I only ready have.

Pink is getting into me. I was just joking when I said it but it's becoming too real that Pink is my new fav color!

Hi all.

lagging behind again and I totally forgot to post about this year Annual Dinner.

the theme was Iconic Movie.

I insisted to go as Anna from Frozen but since I didn't bother to buy or make the outfit of Anna, I settled with Anna theme outfit.

and I came up with this

I thought I took a lot of pictures. Well, I did, just a lot of same-face-people pictures. So, I am not gona post that. I'm just gonna post a few and one collage.

I borrowed office mate's Hogwarts robe. 

I'm a Hufflepuff so the colors all wrong.  

 But I am happy to finally wearing (albeit borrowed) Harry Potter garment 

AND

I actually held a wand!

this was actually a coincident. 

I talked to her about wanting to come with her as Anna and Elsa.

but we never really discuss it further.

So, when on actual dinner we came with these colors, we just have to take picture 

and captioned it, 'Anna and Elsa versi Melayu'

the food was ok. I am not crazy about it. ada ice cream. so that's always a plus.

what's exciting about this year's dinner was they provided a photo booth which printed the images instantly. 

So, i took several pictures there too.

It was the most exciting part of the evening for me. LOL the rest was just dull. I don't know. I wasn't as looking forward to it as I used to. 

know what my motivation to just go to the dinner and not cancel last minit? "I am only going for the food"

and just like Twilight, I'm obsessing over this series now. and I want my Peeta!

hahaha I mean, he's funny and very warm. as explained in the books anyways. ;)

I am loving this new covers! Initially, I wanted the black covered one but the first Kinokuniya I went, didn't have them. they have the above instead. So, I collected them right away. Pretty dazzling the color. Love Love Love 

it took me almost two weeks to finish all three books.

I am amazed how the movie actually captured what was written in the books. even the dialogues. Applause to the screen writers for the movies. Nothing satisfy me more than when movies adapted the books correctly.

As always, books have more details but what's so amazing is that even though the movie is like the short-cut version of the book with a lot of modifications, I still understand the movie as of far.

Now, I am scared that I'm gonna be judging MockingJay part 2 movie. Since I already know the ending. 

Oh well, It was a good (very good) read. I don't know what I'm supposed to do with my life now. 

Maybe I should read some ancient Irish History to get me away from this real world once again.

Singapore Trip part 4 (Final)

and here comes part 4, the final day of our trip.

Day 4 Goodbye, Singapore. until we meet again.

It didn't count much of a trip to me since by 7:45am, we left our hotel and on our way to the airport for our 10am flight back to KL-Brunei. 

We checked in, wonder around a bit and then just masuk to the departure hall to shop some more.

hahaha no lah. kami just don't know apa kn di buat lagi di luar after check-in atu, so kami masuk awal saja la.

I've always wanted to buy one of these collectables M&M thingy! coz they're so big and actually got a purpose to keep.

atu plang saja yg ku bali apart from candies.

as we landed at KLIA2 for our transit back to Brunei, we ate our lunch there. 

we jalan2 looking for something to buy (mostly cZawir coz he didn't shop much on day three) 

and at around 1:30pm we all ready to board our plane and arrived safely in Brunei around 4pm+ (coz there was a delay in the runway before we take off from KLIA2. we supposed to arrive at 4pm at BIA).

Singapore Trip January 2015 came to an end.

yes, this post is basically non-existent if it was not for my M&M thingy. 
LOL

Singapore Trip part 3

Hellow fellow readers~

It took a while but here comes my Singapore Trip; Day 3.

Day 3. Daytime.

as planned, we went .. SHOPPING!!

We went to Takashimaya at Orchard first to visit Kinokuniya bookstore.

It's the best bookstore, ever!

That was where all my money went. (the previous night, after USS, we also went to the Kinokuniya branch in Bugis Junction. bought my books there too xD)

We spent almost two hours kali dsana.because by the time we were done and making our way to our next destination; Plaza Singaoura, we were starving.

We went straight to KFC to have our lunch when we got there. (no picture) for the first time in a long time, nyaman bah KFC ah. and the fact that we were getting tired of mcD must helped too.

After makan, then we went our way to continue ..SHOPPING!

there are a lot of kadai there. and when I said 'a lot of kadai' I meant kadai that we all have our stuff-to-buy at. Anime (Bazilah and her nephew spent almost an hour in one kadai alone. they're the biggest fanatic of Anime among us four), Kpop, random gadgets, etc. Even Smiggle's store is there too. I think I didn't go in there though. I think lah! hahah I'm nuts about that kadai, so I am not so sure.

My most wanted things there was actually to find Luna's Saving Grandma GoBongshil drama series but the only DVD/Music store there didn't have it. *sadness* 

So, I have to compensate into buying things that was not in my things-to-buy list. 
Example;

PowerBank (it's SHINee color btw xP)

and 

PopToy thingy; Olaf and Groot.

I bought other stuff too, like, that discounted wire clipper thingy at Comics Connections . (its original price was $5.90 but when I went to the counter, the sales lady only ask for $1. like, HOW AWESOME IS THEIR DISCOUNT!?) but that was about the only stuff i bought at the Kpop/Anime store. 

I found Danbo saving bank at an Anime store (I don't know the name of the store but it was along side the Otaku Store. like, there were three, or was it four, stores of Anime side by side on that floor). I didn't buy though. and how I regret it now? -.- I should've just bali then. *nangis* (ada plang di eBay msani. the one in Singapore was a lot cheaper. So, I'm still contemplating)

We went our separate ways, so that we can spread our time there. I even ventured out the entire place looking for a store (according to Plaza Singapura online guidance) that as it turned out, no longer exist. macam, naleh saja ku. -.-

After everyone, except Zawir who still havent found the book he was looking for, got what they want/need. we decided to went back to the hotel to drop off our stuff before we continue to jalan2 at Marina Bay.
 

Day 3. Nighttime.

At 7pm, we left our hotel and was on our way to Marina Bay. 

It was actually upon Bazilah's nephew request that we decided to squeeze in the sight-seeing in our schedule. (he really wanted to take picture at the Merlion statue).

Apple need to do something about our front cam a.s.a.p.

it was a good thing too. took lots of pictures. making use of my I'm-a-tourist card.

we even got the chance to watch the water/light/spectacular performances happening at the harbour, thingy. by accident. LOL pasal we were leaving and the thing started.
we saw the place where we witnessed the SMTown Concert two years ago. It was, of course, empty.

After that Zawir wanted to go to this mall right above the City Hall MRT station to look for a bookstore. and the rest of us went our separate ways again. I found Mark&Spencer and bought biscuits there.After that, random shopping again. xD *happiness*

Before we balik to our hotel, we searched high and low for a KFC but, like that guidance website of Plaza Singapura, there was actually no KFC in that shopping mall. of maybe ada but tukar location sudah and inda kana update arah website atu. 
So, we rushed back to Bugis Junction, since di sana ada KFC (we only just found out. we were making full use of our singapore line a little too late, I'm afraid. LOL). we came in like aher berabis. they were about to shut down already. even the sales person was being impolite (obviously eager to close down and get rid of us) and we manage to scrap what we can. Ended up, we have to stop by McD jua to buy some extra food since McD saja yg tutup aher. 

and when we got back to the hotel, we were, again, tired but we had dinner and then quickly packed our luggage coz the next morning we had to be at the airport early for our flight a 10am.

Singapore Trip part 2

Day 2.

We woke up early and quite easily on day 2.
Why?
Because it's Universal Studio Day!!!

and it was Onew's socks day too! xD

the theme park actually opens at 10:30am but since we haven't purchase the tickets, we need to go to the counter at 8:30am when it opens. which was what we did. We woke up at maybe 6:30am, got ready and left our hotel by 7:30(ish)am.

Happy faces.

After we bought the tickets, we waited around Vivo City like lost puppies (it was too early. kadai pun alum buka except for McD at which we had our breakfast :D It was McD kinda trip).

And before we know it, we were excitedly queuing to Enter by 10:30am.

the excitement was overwhelming, like you want to play everything all at once. hahah but of course, we took it once step at a time. We split up; i went with Zawir and Bazilah went with her nephew.

(note: definitely my fav part of the entire park ;D 

I grew up watching The Mummy and The Mummy Return over and over again :P)

 this one was kinda like stumbled upon last minute. time kami kan balik.

this one lagi tah by luck. When we got out of Lights, Camera, Action we heard commotion and cheered that we just had to check it out. and Lucky we did. these guys are awesome B-Boys and insanely funny. Zawir got the jis of it. LOL

a/n: I know, selfie galore. Sorry viewers. (NOT! hahaha)

We finally met up again for lunch before we continue on with few more rides and actions to see. We ate Oasis Spice Cafe. It stated in the map that they serve halal food. So, kami pun dengan kebulurnya, tarus masuk and order. the price of the food was surprisingly, normal-expensive. AND portion nya banyak berabis! hahah kami tu worried yg it'd be over our budget. but luckily, not. So, happy tummy!

Continuing on~

Zawir went into the Transformer The Ride thrice while I went in twice.
 the second time we went in, we were all four. The four of us also went in together to watch the Shrek 4-D Adventure (Bazilah's and nephew's second time) and last but not least, together we went into the Madagascar: A Crate Adventure (this ride is like a calm version of water log ride).

After that, we had some last minute shopping for souveniars and took selfies 

(of course) before finally exiting the theme park. Because we don't want to leave just yet, we stroll around the outside area, taking more pictures and lepak-ing for awhile at this sorta abandon swimming pool.

Zawir went gaga.

Our intial plan was to stay until night falls but since the park was only opened until 7pm that day, we didn't get to stay till night time. at least we stayed until closing time.

and I played most of the game! my personal aim! I wanted so much to play the big roller coaster (which I don't know the name of) because it was under maintainence. I also didn't play the Accelerator (a ride like the tea-pot thingy where it just whirled round and round). but I am still happy with my achievement to play all the rides. I missed Water World action reenactment.Bazilah and her nephew seen it.

OH! I should mention; you need to take the theme park map and entertainment schedule as you entered. 

they are a lot of help for you to make full use of your time to enjoy Universal. YOU MUST!

if on day 1 we were exhausted, it was a lot worst on day 2. We even continued shopping di Bugis Junction after we freshen up from Universal. LOL we that hardcore shopper!!

Singapore Trip part 1

As promised, here is the brief of my short but packed trip to Singapore last 19th Jan-22nd Jan with Zawir, Bazilah and her nephew, Malik.

Day 1.

Since we landed at Changi Airport around 3pm and took a half an hour rest after that, we already decided that we won't do anything extreme on Day 1. Our planned was to go to Vivo City to purchase the Universal Studios tickets and then maybe stroll around Bugis Junction afterwards. But we didn't manage to buy the tickets when we arrived at Vivo City. Instead, I spent my first dollars on a mobile line (a/n: Internet there so fast, man! like, 4G and all. cheaper too. Normally, it'll take a few second (if connection is not being an ass) to refresh Instagram but when I was using that Singapore line, it just refresh. just. like. that. in nano seconds kali) and food.

my first try on fish cake korean style. it's so cute and pink. my new favorite color. LOL but really the yummiest. 

We walked a few floors up and found Smiggle. 

apa lagi, shopping lerrr.


After Vivo City, we went back to our hotel to drop our little shopping back and went down again to search for Bugis Junction (we stayed at Marrison Hotel in Bugis btw) and was surprised that Bugis Junction was sooooo near to our Hotel.

Our only aimed here was to find food to tapau for dinner but before that we just walked around stopping at random shops. 

we didn't get into many though coz after Zawir's yogurt, shops were shutting down on us as it was already closing time. So, in the end we just settled to finding dinner.

we ended up buying food from McDonalds. I bought chicken grilled salad. LOL macam, banyak2 makanan, di sana jua lah kami pigi but as some shop served non-halal food, we were just being cautious.

We were exhausted already by the time kami sampai hotel. Me and Bazilah shared a room. We talked non-stop, even when one of us was in the bathroom (because the room was so small and the bathroom was so near, there was no need to shout to talk to each other that way LOL). we were so ..nonsense. LOL I guess we were just excited. when it was time for bed, we watched a movie and kept telling each other that we need to sleep coz we need to wake up early the next day (like at 7am! on a vacation!) but we didn't sleep until it was well past 1am. hahaha I guess we were just too excited.
