Hari Itu dalam Sejarah...

on 27th July 2010, at around 8ish to 9(almost)10ish, I went to Klinik Kerajaan di Berakas.

why? Sore throat (felt so karing) and slight fever.

When I got there, it showed that my temp was 37.9degree So, i got sent to the "fever clinic".

waited there for almost 1hour plus. and at around 9plus plus got called in to see the doctor.

So, the doctor asked me what's wrong and i told him about my sore throat. then he agreed about me having a fever (coz he'd seen in the NURSE's report yg my temp was 37.9). there was a small paused and he said, "there's a possbility that you're pregnant" AND I WAS LIKE "what??!!" and he said, "am a doctor, i've seen alot of things" but i cut him off and said, "but am not married yet" and he kept on insisting that he's a doctor and he has seen a lot of things and that people get pregnant (or simply he wanted to say yg people have sex EVEN before they got married).
AND THEN he asked me when was the last time I had my period. i told him early june since i HONESTLY could not remember when and he was convinced that I'm pregnant. you know what makes me so angry? that he said, if i don't have my period by next month, i should check on a pregnancy test plus he said, "no matter what you said"
before he dismissed me, he give me advices about eating bubur or soup if i don't have the appetite to eat then something about using 'wap air panas' to sooth down the mucus in my throat.
I was SUPER shocked. i walked out of the room without another word.

So, mistakes he made:-
1) he didn't bother checking down my throat. I have a case of 'tongsil bangkak' which usually the cause of my high fever.
2) he only check the left side of my lungs.
3) he ASSUMES.

Mistakes I made:-
1) i should have told him that I dun even have a boyfriend instead of saying "am not married yet"
2) i should have counter attack (again) by saying "So you think I sleep around lah?"
3) i should have insist on him checking my throat
4) when he said "i've seen alot of things" i should have shot back, "what kind of things? Miracles? like Nabi Allah, Isa?"
5) I need to remember when's the last time i had my period. when I got home, i checked, it was end of June.

I was so angry I couldn't rest well yesterday. I kept on waking up feeling like I wana go back to that clinic and slap him in the face. what kind of doctor are you?? 1) he humiliates me infront of his "staff" 2) he didn't even bother checking my throat.
SIAL punya doctor. klu nda mau jadi doctor and check patients thoroughly, JANGAN JADI DOCTOR.

or maybe he assumed those things becoz of my red hair? COME ON LAH! judge-mental much?? do you know that many of those girls who wears tudong, does prayers (tunggang langgak) day and night and pretended to be alim are the one yg actually paling be-ulah dari aku? I know bukan semua plang cematu but do you know? GAWD! one-minded banar. sudah lah ko!

Lucky he prescribes me with antibiotics and allergy pill for the throat. If this is some kind of a joke that he planned on patients, he got the wrong one. I have his name on my MC and am not afraid to file a complaint.

Maybe you think that I'm overreacting but you should see his face when he convince HIMSELF that I was pregnant. stupid that doctor! mana inda medical practices dBrunei ani are falling behind. having such person sitting on a chair that are meant for REAL doctor. stupid.

awu, luka ego ku. sakit hati ku. and from today onwards, nda ku mau lagi tu k klinik kerajaan ah. bodoh betul itu doctor. (awu, inda ku kira, ku sumpah berabis ya ni. peduli ku!)
