A MUST WATCH!!!
i watched this at the cinema with my buddies; Buz, Kuch, Rasyid n Zawir, last Wed, 7th Apr. aku susun nama alphabetically ah..xP
hahah i very much love the main character, Hiccup (walaupun namanya bida xP). n i hate the father, for being so egoistic n mean. i love Astrid character also. n i found out rupanya cAmerica Ferrera (Ugly Betty) yg voice cast. N THE MOVIE IS SOOO FUNNY!!!
the story was set during the Vikings. eh wait. katun ni ah. ahahaha (like people would actually care if ya katun or not xP)..neways, during the Vikings n about them trying to win a battle against the Dragons (real dragon) who were terrorizing their village.
n being so typical of a movie or katun or Hero/Heroin base storyline, this one guy named Hiccup is far from being a Viking. for he is weird (like, he caused disaster everytime he stepped out of his house). i think he's like this first of the many ancient geniuses who invent things. but of course, people of his day being so close minded, find him weird lah ah.. cHiccup ani, always wanted to prove to others that he can do it; capture a dragon n killing it.
Yadda, yadda, yadda...
Hiccup decided one night to use his invention to capture a dragon; a Night Fury, the lighting speed dragon. which he did correctly aim n captured. but no one believe him. so, he went looking for it. he found it. you see, the Vikings honor and glory lies on killing a dragon. but at that point, Hiccup couldn't do it. instead, he set the dragon free. ahahaha part after the dragon 'shout' pat cHiccup ani kn, n cHiccup tried to jln but his leg went jelly n ya pengsan, atu yg ku ketawa habis! ahahahah
After that incident, Hiccup decided he don't want to fight a dragon anymore but his Dad decided to give him a chance and entered him to training class where he met, Astrid, Snotlout, Fishlegs, Tuffnut and Ruffnut. in between this training, Hiccup was back and forth checking out on the Night Fury which he called Toothless. he learned things by watching Toothless's behavior. and used it in his training sessions which caused people to believe he's the best dragon slayer or something. except for Astrid. she despised Hiccup for stealing her glory.
Yadda, Yadda, Yadda
Astrid found out. Hiccup offered Astrid a ride on Toothless. ("what are you doin? we need her to like both of us" Hiccup to Toothless. ahahaha) they found the Dragon's nest. and Astrid asked, "what are you goin to do?" to Hiccup. the next day was supposed to be Hiccup's finally 'exam' in slaying dragon training n Hiccup was supposed to kill a dragon in public. but seeing as he had a pet dragon kn, what's he supposed to do?
Yadda, Yadda, Yadda... the end! ahaha ngaleh ku... xP
His dad found out n got PRETTY mad at Hiccup for not telling the whereabouts of the dragon's nest (because the vikings had been looking for it for a long time, thinkin if they destroyed the nest, they don't have to fight the dragons anymore).
While the viking worriors was about to enter the dragons' lair, Hiccup was recruiting his own army (his training buddies + dragons) to rescue Toothless (who got captured during his final 'exam') who became the Vikings' 'compass'...
Yadda, Yadda, Yadda...almost the end. but not gona continue. juz watch the movie, will ya? ahah cali n sweet berabis. esp cToothless. gawd! kyupta!
n people said mbagi menangis? aku nda nangis pun...
sooo..yeah...A++++ for the storyline! xD
