the End of the World

ok..so i watched this three movies and there are similarities in them. the day the earth 'died'. n how human is part of the reason of its death. what i like about these movies is that, at the end of it, they got me thinking of its possibilities. well, only 'right after' the movie plang tu..pastu, like every other movie yg ku liat, nda th lagi ku mikir kn (ahahaha)..reason am posting this one out, is becoz i think people shud see them in the sequence that i did. it'd be interesting. juz keep an open mind. xP



the Happening. Mark Wahlberg n Zooey Deschanel. i know i've posted my reviews on this movie rh FS blog but i didnt mention the following; what seems like the end of the world. starting in tiny (like in the movie, states/countries) places on earth. how the environment was attacking human being, like telling them that they destroyed earth, now earth is doing the reverse. but in the end of the movie, it stopped the killing and people live again. but 'the Happening' started again on the other part of the continent (Paris)...



the Day the Earth stood Still. Keanu Reeves n Jennifer Connelly. also about the end of the world. warning thru Aliens. Aliens (acting God) were to destroyed Earth and all the living things in it. one human professor said, the Alien race went thru destruction before they knew how to live organically, and that the Alien shud give human the same phase to be able to appreciate earth (or something like that xp). not until the end of the movie did the Alien give Earth a chance. So, the human live again.



Knowing. Nicholas Cage. yet another the-end-of-the-world movie. this tym, involving the d Sun, spitting, radiation, thingy. basically involving the Sun destroying Earth. also ada Alien. but kali ani, the Alien was picking up the chosen ones. the one who'll be starting over once the Earth flourish again after the devastating hazard (Earth was to burn to ashes). Like Noah's Ark story, Male and Female human yg kana ambil (n i bet male n female rabbit too xp) maybe a pair from each continent or country or what ever..So, this time around, the Earth did get destroyed unlike the previous two. n the chosen ones were return back to Earth, like i said in the beginning, and started over again. Lame ending though. i expect something better. xP

there ya go. this is juz my reviews n i think there's a connection. like, first the Earth defending itself. later on, Aliens got involve n then the-end-of-the-world happened. dun this movie creators have something else to do? i mean, stop thinking bout the end of the world n hoping that there's gona be some starting over. the end of the world is gona come and its inevitable. there might not be anymore 'living' when it happened. So, lets juz make movie of here and now. like, i duno. wars? hunger? love? affairs? u know, the here n now? what ever...

oh there's another one. the Day after Tomorrow. this is, a lil acceptable for me. but maybe becoz Dennis Quaid, Jake Gyllenhaal and Emmy Rossum was in it. (hahahah) and they were talking bout the possible era of a modern Ice Age (not the end of the world). it was far more interesting than the 3 above. i like the part where the Dad, walked across the States juz to rescue his son. it was touchy. i love it.

p/s: but like i said msa awal2, i love movies yg makes me wonder n think by the end of it. but the end of the world? why?
