My birthday celebration becomes soo quiet every year. paling happening tah ni ke Miri ah 😜

Welcome geng, to my 2024 recap number 16.

Most of my recent posts are recaps. unless I stated otherwise. 

So, I hope you still enjoy reading and looking at all the pictures I took back in 2024. I believe this will continue into February 2026. and after that I plan on doing a recap for 2025 next. hopefully I will remain motivated and excited to share all that I planned to share before 🤗

Art Exchange

I had joined a local art/crafting group late 2023.

The group is called Create Art BN. 

and the first time I joined an exchanged was in 2024. in August.

these were what I have created to exchange with my friends:

and these were all what they created for me.

I realized that sometimes I missed understood the assignment. LOL Like kadang-kadang, what even am I creating? I appreciate that my fellow creator were all very supportive and remind everyone to just have fun when we create. No pressure.

The pressure usually time kan post ke Post Office. at least for me. 

The due date set was not so strict as we all understand that everyone has an actual day job they need to prioritize, has family to spend time and take care of. 

Lagi pun don't mind when I will receive those exchanges, as long as I will receive them. I don't know about you but the excitement I feel receiving them are just something else. It reminded me of the time when I sent those kad Hari Raya to my friends and receiving replies from many of them the next raya. that was awesome! 

Hope we will continue with this for a long time.

30 years of

worth mentioning that I was there when the company I work at celebrated its 30th anniversary.

and I have spent at least 17 years with then by 2024 atu. that's more than half my adult life. 

Bak kata Mark Lee of NCT, "that's a long as ride"

We were gifted with tones of 30th anniversary merchandises; payung, tabung, windbreaker jacket, coaster (as in singular), and last sekali, tabung (it looked like a mini version of that 30 in the back ground of the payung).

I guess, thank you for all the experience gained for all the years I have been with them. Either aku jenis 'tahan pukul' or there were just more good/fun experiences than bad that I have stayed as long as I have.

Just recently, I was asked when do I plan to retired and I was like, "when I turned 40". LOL coz I am soooo ready! Been working hard enough. 17 years is not a small fit. 

I want to put an end to my corporate life and start my traveling auntie journey.

oh! I should mentioned. becoz of this 30th anniversary, I was so active; joining the House Championship thingy; hiking, walking, virtual race, bowling, board walk games, and participate in being a 'production' crew for the Annual Dinner performance for my House. 

I was in House 3, The Greytest. We came out number 3 overall  in the end. I think. Lupa dah. as soon as the annual dinner was done, aku pun melupakan all my 'activeness' for the year LOL cukup taun atu saja lah. Urang lain can join in the next one. Cukup for me now.

here's to another 30 years? Ovvy don't count me in. as proud as I am that I have been part of their journey, the me now is in need of a new thing and experiences.

Popmart - new hobbies

I mean, not so new. I believe I started in early 2023; with Pino Jelly and Hirono.

I got Persona and Robot 

I got Sad and Broken Heart

this is a very expensive hobbies to be very honest but I can't help it. I just love little trinkets. So, let's take a look how much I bought in a month in 2024. There is no judgement here LOL

January - Zero

February - Zero. huh? 🤔

These I got from Singapore and they were from Miniso. Coz apparently Popmart in Singapore (and even Malaysia) is cost a lot more than the one in Brunei. So, Miniso lah sja tmpt ku shop blindboxes time di SG atu LOL

April - Zero

Ok paused? Macam banyak Zero. Mungkin 2024 aku masih alum 'passionate' banar and sadar that I was not made of money. Mungkin.

May - still Zero but I took picture of my collection thus far. Mix of popmart, bandai figures, Miniso, Gacha and other random trinkets

June - Zero

September - Zero. Yup. Zero.

Masih tame rupanya spending on Popmart ku ani in 2024. So I guess, you gotta wait for 2025 purchases then. 😹😹

New Car

Bought new car.

One big reason of the change is me wanting to lower the monthly repayments. Only for me to found out too late about our staff's rate benefit but oh well. I can try that in 3 years time.
