TGIF: Throw back 14th Sep 2016

HELLO!

I think, I need to reconsider about doing that post about my Japan trip.

butt

I usually ended up talking/typing too much.
I'm afraid that bores people to death

*cringe*

I'll think about it lagi lah.

for now, I wana share this photo.

this was taken by a guy (with a backpack, kinda like the one used for hiking and stuff) on our way up the Inari Mountant, who asked us, "are you really going to go up mountain in flip flops?" and I, with so much exhilaration said, "yeah!"

in all honesty, we (Buzz and I) wasn't planning at all.
I myself didn't know yg we were at the start of the climb!
I was just trying to get rid of the crowds.
I thought, the higher I get, the less crowded it'd become and we could take photos more peacefully.

So, there we were climbing the stone steps, a step a time (REALLY a step a time coz that 'flip flop' is really quite a challenge if you are not careful), and suddenly this guy started talking to us.
I don't remember much now but I remember him asking the cost of the Kimono to which I nervously replied, "around 3000 yen"
and then he asked to take a picture of us (the above picture) coz he wondered if we already taken proper picture of just us two.
at first he took one with his phone and then he offered to take one with my phone coz I had mine on my hand at the time.
and then he asked if we really serious going to top with just flip flop. again, I answered yes.
and he hurriedly says his thanks (coz his other friends already ran pass him) and wish us luck with our flip flops.
as he ran up the steps I shouted, "you too!" to which he turned back one last time, chortling or laughing and continue his ran up the mountain.

What I love most about that moment was, my relief feeling.
I voiced out my gratefulness to Buzz right away.
I told her, that's the longest conversation I have with a stranger.
in English!
We were on our 6th day in Japan, and that guy reminds me that I can speak English properly and people understand me.
Pasal the last five days, I've been communicating in VERY broken English and often frustrated with myself for not being able to speak Japanese.

CAUTION: I'm not saying my English is great (as you can see from my Grammatical mistake on all of my post), I'm just saying it felt good to speak to a stranger, with my second language, and he understands it, without me struggling to make myself understood.
that is all.

When we finally back at our hotel, I search for this guy on Instagram, but of course, that mission fail.
coz, I don't know what I should be searching for.
I search for our photo with the hashtag FushimiInariShrine but do you know how many thousand people uses that hashtag?
let me tell you.
TERLALU BANYAK!
So, I gave up.

I regret not being brave enough to ask to take picture of him or with him too.
I couldn't even remember his face.

I guess, thank you sir!
for the small talk.
for taking proper picture of us two.
I also hope that you are not a psycho or a creep.
I pray that you are genuinely a good and nice person.

Brunei's 33rd National Day

and here i am about to post something non-related to the Title.

*waves*

Hi guys!
I know, left this blog for a while.
becoz, I haven't got the motivation to post.

Not that I have any now but I guess, lets just do it!

So,
I thought I share with you guys about my first ever love;

LONDON!

I think why 'loving London' is so embedded in me is becoz ever since EVER, London or UK has always been the it destination for success. It was what everyone talked about back then.
Aunties would talk non-stop when their children flew there to continue their education, etc.

I wasn't one of them. not academically, at least.

I went to the UK in 2009 for two weeks.

I remember the talk I had with one of the tellers when I withdrew my money (via counter at that time) before belayar. He asked me why am I taking out so much money and I told him for my vacation. and he asked me where, I said UK and he said, "jauh jua vacation ani".
LOL
I find it funny now coz
1. I don't think teller should be asking me why I'm withdrawing money from my OWN account.
2. mind your own business.

That was 8 years ago.

Nowadays, I'm not as obsess with UK as I was before.
I've opened my heart to other countries/places, the most current one being, Japan!

but that doesn't mean I don't love London still.

I mean, for example, with tudung, if I have to choose between London theme print with Paris theme print, I would, in a heartbeat, choose London theme. coz, I don't get Paris and her Eiffel Tower. #nohateplease#LOL

and more recently, I bought a new bag, which I love so much!
I feel like I've been looking for a new bag (bought a couple but to no satisfaction) and when I finally saw this bag, I'm just, "you are everything that I didn't know I was looking for" to put it a dramatic way.
hahahaha
but seriously!
that's how I feel with this new bag.

I mean, LOOK AT IT! ♥‿♥

So, on 7th February, I decided to dress surrounding my bag theme.

I wore dark blue with red/white square-dots print, a black with tiny white anchor print, and my London-associates-theme tudung.

accessories? my London-theme watch and my bag (of course).

Wore red lipstick coz red.

wehwehweh~ about the only proper picture I took that day

Here's something extra:

I bought this, days before I finally decided on buying my bag. hahaha my thoughts were "matching sama my future bag" hahaha I'm an obsessive person!

these keychains I've used for a while now, way before my bag, courtesy of Bazilah (she got these from when she went to the UK)

(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

Sekali atu ganya lah aku rajin melawa and ber-theme to the office.

I wonder how I'd be if I wanted to wear Japanese theme

Well!

that is all I got for you today.

Selamat Menyambut Hari Kemerdekaan, Negara ku, Brunei Darussalam.
just becoz I post something non-related to my nation's National Day, doesn't mean I love my country any less.
chill~

and I will see you on my next post

*waves goodbye*

Throw Back Thursday

I meant to post this, like, the moment it came out

but

it's me.

When do I ever do things right away?

HAHAHAHA

anyway, *clears throat*
SHINee released their repackaged of the 1 of 1 album, named 1 and 1
it contains 5 new songs.
Tell Me What To Do is the lead song
and
I love this song to bits and pieces ♥‿♥
the moment I heard it, I just, fell in love with it.
it took me a few listens to 1 of 1 song to properly 'love' it.

but the MV kinda ..nyeh~

I love the Live version more.

but only because Onew was freakin hawt (●´ω`●)

or if we want to be less serious,
they have this live version too

♥╣[-_-]╠♥

When I found out the meaning of the song, I finally understand the feel of it; touchy, deep, lost, tell me what I should do, help me, I love you.

I LOVE IT!

this song makes a good fanfic plot. (⊙‿⊙✿)

Now, here's Onew appreciation post

(✿ ♥‿♥)

the other new song that I love from this repackage is 한마디 (Beautiful Life)
in the album sleeves, it mentioned that 이진기 wrote the lyric to this song.
I love it more (。♥‿♥。)
I love it EXTRA more when Minho sang the whole first verse!
Minho is really extra; can rap, can dance, athelatic, can act, and can sing!
한마디 is a very beautiful song that show case SHINee vocals more! I love it.

gah!

this whole post is love!

One last Onew photo to end this post

discalimer: Photos and Videos are not mine. Got them via Twitter, youtube, and Google. I'm just sharing the love~

February Song ~~ part 2

Hi again lovelies.

today, I'll be posting the 2nd album that I downloaded last last weekend.

Little Mix - Glory Days
(this is their 4th Album)

first saw and heard the song Touch via youtube

I find the video *thumbs up* rugged!

very girl power!

and the music is addictive.

I ended up downloading the entire album. Just like I did with their previous album, Get Weird.

I like a lot more songs in Get Weird, to be honest.

the other songs that are currently my favorite from Glory Days;

Nothing Else Matters

and

No More Sad Songs.

I have Touch on repeat for an entire week that by Yesterday, Sunday, 5th Feb, I hated it.

LOL!

So, now I have Nothing Else Matters and No More Sad Songs on repeat.

#prayfornewsongs

Now a little background story, coz I don't think I ever share anything about them up till now

Little Mix is formed during the 8th series of the X-Factor UK 2011. they won, making them the first group (by far) to ever win in that competition
I never watched the series but I've known about them from their winning songs; Cannonball.
and then I found about their next released: Wings and DNA afterwards.

Their previous released (yg I think that are famos enough to be played on Brunei radio);
Black Magic
Hair feat Sean Paul
Secret Love Song feat Jason Derulo
Shout Out To My Ex

I think why I'm attracted to Little Mix in the first place was because they're the first girl group with amazing vocals (both live and record) in a long time.
and they're British.
I hope they will continue to be active for a long time.

February song~

Hai guyss and ladiesss

I procrastinate again.
but I told myself, I should try and post something today.
thus, today, I decided to post one of the album I downloaded last weekend;

SHINee - FIVE

this is the fifth Japanese album.
I was a bit skeptical to download this
because the only Japanese album I love was the First
which has a lot of their Korean songs converted into Japanese which is then easier for me to sing a long to
the other previous three; Boys Meet U, I'm your Boy, and DxDxD were just ...ok.

but since I stan SHINee,
I download je lerr out of loyalty :P
and I was pleasantly surprised.
I actually like more than one song from this album.

Current favorite (and probably will be my only fav, ever) from this album are:

君のせいで (Kimi No Sei De) - the only full version I could find

Do Me Right - short version from 'a making of'

Winter Wonderland - again, another short versions (2 videos)

Melody

Diamond Sky

in no particular order. these are the songs yg I like the moment I heard the first few seconds of the music.
I haven't Google or Youtube the lyrics translation.
I bet they'd be 'feels' AF.
LOL

there's 1 of 1 japanese version too on this album but I still prefer the Korean version only because of this

HAHAHAHAH! arent they precious?!
and also,
I can actually sing a long to some of the Korean ver verses.

for some reason there's no proper audio I could find for Melody and Diamond Sky

I guess Japanese music sharing policy/low is strict. :S

but I swear those two songs are amazing!

on another note:
Currently SHINee is touring in Japan for their SHINee World V.

I wish and pray they will come to Singapore or Kuala Lumpur too.
apart from those concerts being near to Brunei, there will an English translator when they do the concert there. ahahah
I want to go to their concert AT LEAST ONCE.

I already missed Westlife's, I'm not about missing SHINee's.

So, hwaiting me!

and stop procrastinating!
